Wyatt, Sara & the kitties

This morning I walked in and saw the kitties had had a little party while I was gone! The rugs were all rolled up and they had brought out a ribbon and some rubber bands to the living room. Haha! As I turned the corner, I saw Sara and Wyatt staring in at me from the back door. I let them in and they danced around excitedly, ready for breakfast. Some storms were rolling in this morning. Sara followed me to the garage to get breakfast. She was busy sniffing around, looking for kitties out there. We headed in and the pups waited for their turn to eat. Bandit was sitting in the window again. After they finished, I went to visit Amber a little bit. She enjoyed a few chin scratches when I delivered her breakfast. I spent some time giving Wyatt and Sara some pets too, before they returned to their area. This evening Bandit was lounging on his kitty tower when I got there. Sara was already at the door, and I saw Wyatt was on his way. They stared as I got their dinners together. The pups hung out in the living room while I cleaned out all the litter boxes. Shadow saw me from his window, and decided to come say hi. He was feeling lovey tonight! When I sat with the dogs to pet them, he came over for some pets too! Before I let the pups back out, Wyatt shook his head. He got his ears stuck all silly. I guess he was trying out a new 'do!

Rusty, Ruby & the kitties

This afternoon I let Ruby out of her bed. Rusty was snuggled on the recliner in the living area. He hopped down, then the pups followed along outside. Rusty sat by me for some attention, then he wandered out to the grass. Ruby did her thing, then headed right back in. I'm guessing she wasn't a fan of the weather today with the storms earlier. Rusty didn't hang out real long either, and returned to his spot on the chair. Ruby was hiding in the bedroom. Poor scaredy girl. I went to check on her and saw Salem was snoozing on the bed.

Eddie & Butler

Today I let Butler out, then Eddie when I got there. Eddie was very excited to say hi! The boys then went outside for a bit. I went out with them. Butler was messing around with his Kong toy. I threw it for him a few times to fetch. Then, he was being silly and standing on the bench with it. Eddie was just busy talking to me most of the time. Eventually, the boys both relaxed and lounged on the patio for awhile. The sun had actually peeked out by then. When they got too warm, the boys went inside and laid on the nice cool tile.

Winston

This afternoon Winston was looking at me with his cutie little face when I walked in! He came out of his area and was bouncing around happily. I got him hooked up, then we headed outside right away. We got a nice walk in today and he did both for me. Later, we headed back inside to play a little while. As soon as we got in, Winston started zooming back and forth across the house! What a crazy little man! Haha. He stopped as soon as I sat on the floor and he went right for his little squirrel toy. He brought it over and put it on my hand. "Let's play!" We played tug and he was just talking away the whole time. He would take a break to shred at it, then would want to play some more. He makes me laugh!

Oscar

This afternoon I walked in to see a happy little boy! Oscar was spinning in circles again on the way to the door. It was wet outside today from the rain, but luckily it was done in time for us to go out. Since it wasn't particularly sunny at the time, Oscar actually wanted to play for a bit! I grabbed one of his frisbee toys and threw it for him. Then, he wanted to play "keep away". Haha! I chased him around a bit and we had some fun. When he heard a dog barking nearby, he had to stop and check that out. Later, Oscar relaxed in the grass and was watching the cows that were by the fence on one side of the yard. Suddenly, he got up and ran over there. I went to see what he was up to. There were two squirrels up in the tree bickering with one another! They were squeaking and chattering and flailing tails like crazy. What an interesting day! Haha. Oscar didn't want to come in when he saw me holding the paw towel. He knew what was up! So, I had to kind of trick him by setting it down and coaxing him in. He was a good boy though! We spent a few minutes playing tug with his shark toy before I left. He also did some tricks for a yummy pupperoni!
