Oreo & Stuffs

Today Stuffy was lounging on the ottoman in the living room when I walked in. Oreo wandered in there as well, after I had stopped to pet Stuffy hello. They both curled up and waited for me to take care of their things. I had turned the fireplace on to get nice and toasty while they waited. Once I sat down, Oreo came over and laid right next to me for some pets and attention time. Stuffy was pretty content, all snuggled up on his ottoman. While we sat there, a little bird landed on the w indow sill. That caught Oreo's attention! He did the little butt wiggle, then ran over to try and catch it! It sure scared the bird away. Haha! Oreo went to snack after that, so I gave Stuffs some pets for awhile.

Oscar

Today Oscar happily said hi to me when I walked in. He kept rubbing his face on me as we walked and I pet him. I gave him some heiny scratches when we got outside. He got all excited and wanted to play after that! I grabbed his frisbee and tossed it to him. He caught it, then ran away from me, wanting to play chase. When I finally got ahold of it, he would give it to me. But, he got bored pretty quick, after only a few throws. It was nice out, so he wanted to be lazy and enjoy the weather! Oscar found a nice spot to lounge in the grass awhile. The neighbor pups came outside, so he got up to go say hi to them. Then, it was more lounging until it was time to go inside.

Winston

Today I saw Winston had gotten a leg through his harness and had it all twisted. Haha. I fixed it for him quick, then we went on our way. It was quite nice out this afternoon! We spent the majority of our time today, outside walking around. We saw some other people along the way. Winston was busy checking everything out. He found a grasshopper out there today, that he had fun chasing! It would hop, then he'd run over to it quick. Winston would nudge it with his nose. "C'mon, jump again!" Finally it would, and he'd chase it all over again. The fun ended when Winston decided to give it a friendly chomp. Haha! When we got back home, Winston slid around on the floor a bit. Once I took his harness off, he got all excited. We spent a few minutes playing fetch with his blue ball.

Eddie & Butler

Today I let Eddie out, and he pranced circles around me, while I tried to let Butler out. Butler made sure to do a couple big stretches before he wandered outside. The neighbor dog was out today, so the boys were busy at the fence for awhile. Later, they spent some time lounging in the grass, enjoying the beautiful afternoon. I went and sat out there with them for awhile. The both hopped up on either side of the bench by me, sneaking kisses! When it was time, they both wandered in and went right in their beds. Good boys!

Rusty & Ruby

This morning I let the girlies outside to eat their breakfast. I went in and got them some fresh water for outside, as well as for all their water containers inside. When I returned, little Gertie was running around with her tennis ball, as usual. Miss Penny was my little shadow, and followed me around as I picked up after them. Later, it was time for the boys to come out to play. They were quite busy playing with the big glow ball this morning! Charlie didn't even want to come in for me. He was having too much fun! Haha. He thought it was a fun game for me to try and catch him. This afternoon I let miss Ruby out, then Rusty and the girls as well. Ruby was quick to do her business for me. After she finished, she was racing around the yard. The girls thought that was fun and chased around with her. Those four came in, then the boys went out again. Charlie and Ranger were both laying in the grass, playing with that big ball again. They sure like that one! This time, it was Ranger who wanted to play chase, instead of going in. Silly boys!

Sadi & Stormy

This morning I walked in and both girls were curled up in their beds. I picked Sadi up first and got her her medicine. I cleaned up the floor next, then got their breakfast ready. I brought Stormy 's medicine back with me and gave her that quick. She got up after that and hopped along to her food bowl to eat. Both girls ate well this morning. Stormy's leg is doing the same today. She laid in her bed again after she finished eating, and used that paw to groom her face. I sat and pet Sadi for awhile after she finished. Stormy wasn't too interested. Haha.

Sadie & Cole

This morning I let Sadie and Cole out of their beds when I arrived. Sadie went outside, but Cole hadn't followed. I went to see what he was up to, then he was ready to go out. He did his business quickly, then was ready to come back in to warm up. I got him his breakfast, and got things ready for Sadie too. She was busy wandering around and exploring out there this morning. When she was ready, she came in to eat as well. This afternoon, the pups both met me in the laundry room. I let them outside for awhile. It was quite nice out by now, so they both roamed around. Cole came in to visit me for a bit, until Sadie was ready to come in. I had to brush her off, because she was all full of grass from having fun rolling around out there! Cole got to go up on the bed before I left. This evening, I let the kiddos out for another potty break. Cole took a little coaxing, then he wandered out to go potty. I could see Sadie's shadow out at the far end of the yard, busy checking things out. Cole came in before her again, and pawed at me for his pets. They both got their dinners, and were tucked in for bed.
