Zeus, Baxter, Zelda

Zeus and Baxter were happy to see me. I let them out for a bit while I filled everyone's food and water dishes. Zeus discovered something interesting by the patio furniture and was checking it out most of the time. I found the spray you left on the counter and sprayed Baxter's hot spots. Poor little guy, so itchy! Those are no fun. After I let them in, they both went and sat in the office by the fishtank. I went and pet them for a little bit before it was time to go. I called for Zelda in the garage a couple times while I was in there and didn't see her. I called for her one last time before I left, and heard a long "meow" in response. So she's in for the night as well.

Sierra & Koko

I think Sierra remembered me better than Koko did. She was right up against the gate and let me pet her right away, while Koko was on the bed barking. I let them out and Sierra went right for the drawer. I got their food ready and set it out for them. Koko went and ate right away, while Sierra just stared at me, then back at the drawer. I took their Lighty Lighty out and we played for awhile. After a bit I went and changed out their pads, and Sierra stood at the doorway.... "Are you ready yet?" So when I was finished we played a little more before I left. She was so concerned with that and hadn't eaten yet, so I put the bowl stand in the bedroom for her.

Clovis, Snickers, Sophie & Patches

Everyone is doing fine today. They were all waiting for their afternoon snack. Snickers didn't seem to want all of his food though. He was more interested in going inside and just sitting on the coffee table. Patches was especially snuggly today. He was rubbing his head on my legs and if I stopped petting him for a second, he would reach up and paw at my hand. As I was locking up the front door, I noticed my car had an abnormal lump on the hood! lol Snickers was warming himself up. He liked it so much he just didn't want to get off! I started the car thinking he would jump off right away. Nope... I let the car move backward down the driveway just a smidge. Still didn't move! So I had to get out and take him off, otherwise he probably would've ridden all the way home with me!

Amor, Shady, Libby, Poncho, + 1 more

Amor was the only one who came up to say hi to me at first. The babies were curious, but kept their distance. I heard a small barking, but couldn't see where it came from. I looked in the crate and it was empty... or so I thought. Shady was hiding! I got everyone except for the shih tzu to go outside. I went to pick her/him(?) up to take outside, but she/he did not like that one bit! I had the babies outside to eat, but they were too excited at first. I sat down on the patio and Poncho (who was the most timid for me) crawled up into my lap! A couple minutes later, after Libby was done eating she crawled in my lap too. She was trying to snuggle up in my sweatshirt. Then they started getting playful and giving kisses!

Can you see me?

Lily & Grace

They were ready for me this afternoon. I opened the back door and saw Grace looking at me happily, tail a-wagging. Grace was especially energetic too. She was running circles around me and jumping around all over the place! They got lots of tummy rubs and back scratches, and in return I got lots of big kisses. I don't think they were ready for me to go...

Capone

I had to be careful coming into the house, because Capone was right by the door peeking out. I could tell he was trying to get into the food bowl before I came today. It wasn't even on the mat anymore! He was loving up every minute of attention from the moment I walked in! He ate all his food except for one tiny kibble. Must be saving that for a snack for later! He is doing very well and I will spend some more time with him tomorrow. I read your notes and thank you!

Lily & Grace

Lily and Grace were a couple of little sleepyheads this morning! I called them through the garage, nothing... I went out back and called for them, still nothing... set the food bowls on the ground, and they came barreling around the corner! I think they were even more excited than last night. After they finished eating I gave them their treats. I'm not sure if Lily could even taste hers, she gobbled them up so fast! She was done with all three of hers by the time Grace finished her first. I'm not sure what happened, but the plastic bag you left me for pickup duty was in tiny little pieces all over the yard! I picked them all up, but I'll have to bring a new bag later today. I gave the girls lots of attention. Lily was getting very playful and rolled over. I started rubbing her belly, but then she was goofing around, kicking her legs and squirming all over the place. I got some big kisses from Grace today too!
