Oreo & Stuffs

This evening I came in and no one came to see me. :( I went into the bedroom to see if the kitties were in there. Yep! They were snuggled on the bed together. I pet them hello, then went to get their food ready and take care of their other things. I went and sat in the living room, turned on the fireplace even, and called for them. I guess they were too comfy where they were! I turned the cozy fireplace back off and went to see them. As soon as I knelt down to pet them, Oreo got up and went out to go eat. Little goober! Haha. I stayed and pet Stuffy. He sure enjoyed that, and sprawled out across the blanket, stretching his paws way out. Stuffy purred away. Oreo never came back to see me. He was just content sitting in the dining room. I bet he'll come love on me tomorrow!

Sophie & Roxy

Today I spotted Roxy lounging in the grass towards the front of the house. She sat up and started to get excited when she saw me coming. Both girls were bouncing up and down at the gate, by the time I got out of the car. I stopped over to say hi, then went in and let them inside. They bounced around and said hi, then went to wait for me on the couch. The girls both snuggled up in my lap and gave me tons of kisses! They sat on either side of me for awhile and enjoyed their pets. Roxy got up after awhile and went to lounge in her chair. The girls took a break to snack on their food too. I got them some more water and let them back out with a couple treats. They will be happy to have their parents home soon!

Bradford, ZZ, Heighty & the gang

This morning Moody meowed hello to me. I got the pups food right away and made my way to the back door. I opened it and Bradford raced inside! The others were trying to come in too, but only one was sneaky enough to get by. He caught me off guard. Haha! I got the others started on their breakfast, then went in to get Mr. Bradford. I hung around outside with the pups for a little while, as they finished eating. Miss Molly came over for a few pets, then Heighty and Bradford said hi too. I went back inside and had a good laugh. Moody was just chillin' in the Hello Kitty chair, waiting for me to come pet him! Haha!

Shadow

This morning Shadow was ready for me in the kitchen. I saw he had eaten all of his dinner from last night. I got him some more food and all his snacks. He went to work on his meal, while I tended to my things. When I got finished, Shadow came and sat in my lap for awhile. I grabbed his toy and saw he was interested in the stick end, instead of the fun feathery part. I got him playing, and he just went crazy! Shadow would jump right up in the air, then would run off and act like nothing happened. "Nobody saw that." Then, he would run back and pounce on his toy again. He rolled around and had a blast. Eventually, he got up and went to snack on some food again before I left.

Jackson

This morning I opened the door and little Jackson came wandering over right away. He snuggled himself close and gave me a big hug. He was so excited he was tinkling a little. I let him get that out of his system and settle down a minute, before we went in. He helped me get his breakfast ready, then he sat with me for some pets. I asked if he wanted to go for a walk, and he got so excited! He ran out into the garage with me to get him ready to go. We took a nice little stroll around the block. When we got back, we sat in the kitchen and he worked on eating his breakfast. After he ate all that he was going to, we went and sat on the floor in the living room. He snuggled up in my lap and would lay back for his tummy rubs. When it was time, he went back outside and I threw his bone for him. He did very well this weekend!

Hudson, Zel, Gabbie & Blackie

It was a chilly start outside this morning. I said hi to the kiddos inside, then let them all out to do their business. They were pretty quick about that! They all lined up at the door to come get their breakfast. After they all ate, we went outside again. The girls were ready to go in after they pottied again, so they, Blackie and I headed inside. I sat with Gabbie as she snuggled up next to me on her blanket. Zel was busy chewing on her bone and playing with the little pink toy. Blackie hung out for a few pets, then eventually wandered off to his room. Hudson was having a blast outside I guess! I went out to get him when it was time. He was just busy exploring. This evening Blackie was barking and all excited when I got in. He kept prancing around while I got the other kids out. The girls kept running underneath Blackie on their way out, so he kept having to hop on a couple legs in order to avoid stepping on them. Haha! Everyone ran outside to do their business. Back inside, they all bounced around, ready for their dinners. We went back out again once Zel and Gabbie finished up. It was a nice evening out. All four spent some time roaming around the yard and checking things out. They kept busy until I called them in for the night.

Rusty & Ruby

This morning I let miss Ruby out and she was leaping and bounding around the house. I let her out and Rusty tagged along for a quick potty break. We came back inside so they could eat. I went to see Salem and she sure missed me! She was meowing so loud and wanting some attention. I pet her for a bit and the pups were in there with me. I let them outside again with Ranger and Charlie, to play and get some time out there. That went ok for a bit, but then Charlie was getting everyone too riled up. I had to separate the groups and put the two little boys back to bed. This afternoon, I let Ruby outside and she stayed out for awhile. She took quite a bit of encouraging to do her business. She was more interested in the yummy food the other dogs were getting! I finally got her to go, once the food was all gone. Haha. This evening I let Rusty and Ruby out before feeding them dinner. They came outside with me for awhile afterwards. Rusty and I got a little game of fetch in. He sure gets jealous over me! Haha. I was petting Ranger and Rusty came running over and would nudge him out of the way. "No, pet me!" I went and visited with Salem a little tonight too. She was under the bed, but I called for her and she was way more than happy to come get pet!
