Cali

Cali met me at the door this afternoon. While her food was warming up, we played in the living room for a bit. She rolled around and batted at her red string first, then nudged at her purple jingle ball. While she nibbled on her food I took care of the litter pan. When I came out, I saw she had followed me. As soon as we made eye contact, she tumbled to the floor to roll around and purr some more! We played with a bunch of her toys this afternoon. She messed around with her paper tube, batting it around the floor. She laid on her back and swung her arms up at her little garfield toy too. Lastly, we played for a long time with her favorite - the shoe string!

Dakota & Benny

Today Kota and Benny were excited for their walk! Benny tried to sneak out his orange ball with us. It was a gorgeous day out for a nice long walk! Kota had fun hopping and chasing around after a little cricket on the sidewalk. It was the funniest thing! She was down on all fours and would slowly check under her paws to see if she got it. Benny was very talkative back and forth with all the neighbor dogs. We passed by a couple small kids that waved and said, "Hi puppies!". The little girl told her mom that puppies go "woof woof". Later a lady saw us walking and asked what their names were. Apparently she had found a lost dog a few days ago that looked just like Kota! When we got back home, Kota nibbled on her lunch. She would take a couple bites, walk into her cage, then decided she wanted a few more!

All three furry friends were waiting for me as I entered the home this evening! It was so cute! I let Toby outside to potty so I could play with the cats! Tyson enjoyed some tap water, while Morgan curled around my legs. Both "talked" a little bit and I thanked each of them for being such good kitties! Toby scratched at the door and came running in the house, straight for his toys. I laid on the floor and Toby would put a toy on my back and then it would fall off and he would hurdle over my back! It was time for me to go, so I gave each a little hug and kiss on the head! As I was leaving, Toby was sitting on the couch with a sad little look on his face; how sweet! I had such a great time; I will miss all three! Thanks for the fun times!

Toby, Morgan and Tyson

This afternoon, all three were resting when I arrived. Toby was in his usual spot, as was Tyson and Morgan. Doesn't Morgan look so content on his chair? I ran around with Toby in the back yard for awhile, then he did his usual routine; taking a lap around the fence! Back inside, I curled up with Tyson on the floor and gave him some tummy and head scratches. As soon as I got up and went into the kitchen, Tyson leaped up on to the counter and into the sink he went! I turned the water on for a few seconds, so he could get some cold water! He lapped it up and thanked me with a little "meow"; so cute! Toby was ready to come in and play with some toys. He ran around the living room and chose to chase the real cats instead of play with his toy cat! Each went to their safe places and Toby returned to continue playing fetch!

Toby, Morgan and Tyson

This morning Tyson was waiting at the door and rolled over so I could pet his tummy! Then Morgan came around the corner and said hello, as he stretched! I thought if I would say hello to the cats loud enough that would get Toby out of bed, but I guess I was wrong!! I found him laying on the bed, ready for his tummy rub! He then bolted out of bed and went to the door! We decided to go for a walk instead so we could take advantage of the quiet, peaceful morning! During our walk, Toby greeted the neighborhood dogs and sniffed every mailbox! We made our round and turned back home. Both Tyson and Morgan were waiting for us in the living room when we returned. A few scratches for each cat, a fresh bowl of food and water and it was time for me to go! See you later!!
