Gracie, Molly, Emma & the kitties

This afternoon I came in and Emma met me at the door. She followed me around, while I went to go let Gracie in. I called for her and she came racing from the other end of the yard. Emma went out and I tried to get Molly out too, but she wasn't feeling like it at the moment. I saw Henry was chillin out on his large doggie bed throne. Haha! Gracie was just wound up with energy. She was bouncing all over the place! Gracie finally settled down a little after a few minutes, then she sat by me for some attention, while Emma was taking her turn outside. Charlie came and visited me for awhile as well. When it was time, miss Gracie went back out for the afternoon. This evening, Gracie was at the fence, seeing who was home. She was already at the back door when I got in. She came running in so fast that her paws were sliding across the floor, and not actually moving her anywhere! Haha. Molly and Emma were both ready to go outside for awhile. I got all the ladies their dinners. Gracie and I played a little fetch with her squeaky turtle for awhile. I heard a funny noise behind me, and saw Henry was chattering at the window! He saw a bug outside that he thought he could catch. I let miss Gracie out for one more potty break, then it was time for bed.

Rusty & Ruby

This afternoon Ruby came racing outside, barking away. She saw it was me, then calmed down. Rusty came out as well, and they both followed me inside. I checked to make sure there weren't any messes to clean up, and that they had enough water. Since all was good, the pups and I wandered back out. Rusty went to roll around in the grass, like usual. Ruby was hanging out on the patio, so I called her to come out by us. She came and sat by me for some heiny scratches, then did her business and went back in. Rusty and I got a little game of fetch in. This evening, the kiddos both came out to see who was here. We went in and I got them their dinners. After they ate, we went out and I fed the big kids. Miss Chloe was following me around, thinking she could try and steal a bite from the bucket! Haha. I caught on though, so she had to go pick a bowl instead. Rusty and I played a game of fetch outside awhile, then we went in for the night. I checked in on Salem and she was just hanging out on the bed.

Dawn, Gallagher, Bobo & Honker

Today I walked in and both Dawn and Gallagher were right there, saying hi! They followed me to the kitchen and talked to me for a minute, then they got bored and ran outside. They must be getting used to seeing me. Haha! I got their canned food ready and they got to work when they came back in. While they ate, I went to check on the ferrets. I spotted Honker snoozing away in their bed. I heard a rustling sound and saw Bobo was in their cage. I had to look twice, because it looked like he was sitting in a plastic bag. He was! He must have stolen one and took it in their cage and made a little nest out of it! Haha. What a goof. I took it out and started to scoop their boxes. Silly little Bobo kept trying to crawl in it again. The boys were both excited to get a couple snacks. I held Bobo for awhile and Honker slowly chased the red ball around when I rolled it for him. Later, I went back out by the pups. I sat on the couch and they both came by me. Gallagher was busy barking, while Dawn was sitting quietly and getting her back scratches in. Before I left, I got them each a cookie.

Major & Boomer

This morning Major must have heard me coming. He started barking and I saw he was going on in to meet me. Boomer was right there as well, wagging his tail happily. The boys were dancing around behind me while I got their breakfast ready. Major was even pawing at my leg! Haha. Boomer ran to his spot and bounced up and down until I delivered his food. The boys both ate and polished their bowls off. I cleaned up and put Major's medicine away, then joined them outside. The boys wandered around a little and did their business. They both came to stand by me for a few heiny scratches, before they wandered off again.
