Frankie

Frankie was sitting just inside the door when I arrived. She saw me and immediately got into the pounce position and started wagging her tail happily. I crouched down so I could give her a hug. She ran in a circle around the couch and came back for her leash. She waited patiently for me to grab the keys, then we headed out. It had rained and there were puddles everywhere and she seemed determined to find every one of them. She dragged me right through them, I couldn't help but laugh! I let her do her business, then we headed back upstairs, careful to avoid puddles this time. She let me dry off her paws, then sat and waited for some attention. I gave her more hugs and pats. Every once in awhile she would run to the window and be a watch dog, keeping an eye out for people outside.

Sugar, Buddy, Jimmy & Charlie

All the pups were bouncing up and down by me when I walked in today. It had stopped raining for a little bit, so we all went to sit outside for awhile. The boys ran off and did some exploring. Later, Sugar and Jimmy snuggled up on their doggie bed together. Buddy was still busy exploring when it was time to head in. I started calling for him, and Charlie helped! After I would yell Buddy, then Charlie would call him. So funny! This evening I let the pups out for a little bit. It was actually kind of nice out, temperature-wise. After they finished their tatoes, Jimmy and Sugar went back out to play. Buddy hung out inside to eat some kibble. Then, he eventually wanted to go out too.

Zeus, Zena & Baby

This afternoon Zeus and Zena were both wiggling in their cages with excitement when I walked in. I let them out and Baby met us at the back door. I had all three go into their side of the yard. They were having a blast today! All three were chasing each other around and around the yard. Well, mostly the boys were, but Zena would run up and stand in the middle to bark at them. She snuck out of her side of the fence somewhere and came running to me. She leapt into my lap and gave me kisses right away. I let her get a little attention. Since it was time to go in anyways, I wiped her paws off, then let her inside. Next it was Zeus' turn. He made me laugh because he kept putting his nose right up to mine while I cleaned his paws! There was a pretty good chance of storms forecasted for the afternoon, so I decided to keep him inside.

Miranda

Miranda was in no mood to play outside today. The grass was wet from the rain and it was cold on her little paws! She took one step off the patio, did her business, then quickly ran back to the door like "Get me out of this cold weather!" We went back in and she was so happy to be back inside the warm house. She grabbed the nearest toy and demanded I play some tug with her.
