Rusty & Ruby

This afternoon I let Ruby out and she raced for the back door. I called for Rusty, but he must have been comfy where he was. I went in the front room to go get him and sure enough, he was just lounging in his chair. He hopped up and I looked for his ball, but it wasn't there. We all headed outside then. Ruby did her business, then wanted to go back in. I told her she had to stay out just a little longer, since it was so nice out! Rusty rolled around in the grass, then did a little exploring. He eventually brought me his purple ball and we got a little fetch in for the day.

Chupie

Today I saw the neighborhood kitties had finished off the food I left for them. I brought the dishes inside and got them some more. Chupie got some fresh food and water, and I cleaned her box. I walked up the stairs again to try and see her. I saw two little glowing eyes looking back at me from one corner! I let her be and headed back down. So shy.

Shadow & Lucy

Today miss Lucy came up to greet me right away when I arrived. She meowed at me a few times and brushed up against my leg. She then flopped to the ground and rolled around a bit. Shadow met me in the kitchen, ready for his snack! When I got back from filling their water bin and cleaning their box, Lucy was still laying around. Shadow had moved to his window to bird watch. Lucy was in a playful mood today! I had her running and jumping after her rope. She even ran through her tunnel after it! Haha.

Eddie & Butler

This afternoon I let the boys out. Eddie put his paws on the counter and supervised, while I got them some fresh water. He ran outside ahead of me and I joined the boys out there. They curled up by each other on the patio for awhile. They heard a neighbor dog come outside and bark, so they both hopped up and quickly ran over to investigate! I think they could see each other through the fence today. So, they were busy racing back and forth. When it was time, we headed in and the boys got a snack.

Oscar

This afternoon Oscar greeted me at the door. He stopped me at a couple steps inside to get some hello pets! I like his new haircut, very cute! He happily trotted along with me to the back door. We headed outside and he quickly found a spot to lay down and relax. Before he got up to move to another spot, he came running over for a few more heiny scratches. It was a gorgeous afternoon for him to just relax and soak up some sun! When it was time to head in, he did a few tricks for me and got his favorite snack.

Sadi & Stormy

This morning I heard Stormy meow at me from her chair under the dining table, as I walked out to water the plants. Once I got her breakfast ready, she followed along to help me deliver it. I found Sadi just sitting in the food room, not doing anything. I got her cleaned up, then she and her sister worked on eating, while I took care of their other things. The girls joined me in the living room for some attention time when they were done. Sadi was rubbing her face on my knee while I brushed her, purring away. I got out Stormy 's other toy today and had her playing with that. She sure likes that feather one! She was rolling around with her mouth open trying to catch it. Haha! This evening I found miss Sadi snoozing soundly in her little bed. So cute! I felt bad to have to wake her up. I got her nose cleaned up and she got her evening meds. She was still pretty sleepy. I set her in by the food so she could get a drink when we were done.
