Oscar

This afternoon Oscar waited in the living room for me to come see him. He started dancing around excitedly as usual! He got a few heiny scratches, then away we went. Oscar had a beautiful afternoon to spend some time relaxing out back. He picked a few good grassy spots in the sunshine. It was so nice out! His neighbor friends came out and started barking at something, so Oscar hopped up, ran over and joined in. Not sure what they were so worked up about! After a nice relaxing time outside, we headed in and Oscar got his snack.

Roxy & Sophie

This morning the girls heard me pull up and I heard Roxy bark. They came running to the front gate to see who was home. The girls bounced up and down excitedly! I met them at the back door and they came running in, dancing happily all over the place. They both hopped up on either side of me on the couch to get their hello kisses and pets in. Roxy got up shortly after and went to go lay on the bed. Sophie followed into the bedroom to check things out, then came back to snuggle up with me for awhile. They will be so happy to have mom and dad home soon! Roxy later came out to take a nap on her chair. Sophie started snoozing while she got her belly rubs. She was even dreaming after a bit, kicking and twitching her legs. Haha!

Murdy & Charlie

This morning I came in and Murdy met me in the kitchen. He hopped up and got a few pets while I read the note. I scooped their box downstairs, then grabbed some plates for their food. Charlie emerged from somewhere and met us in the kitchen. As soon as that can got opened, he started meowing like crazy and hovering. So, I brought the can and a plate to his room to give him some, since I wouldn't be able to portion out both in the kitchen without him going for it. Haha! He was walking in circles all the way to the bathroom. I got him working on his, then Murdy got his food in the laundry room. While they ate, I took care of the other box quick. Once both boys were done, I let Charlie out and we went to sit in the living room. Charlie came and curled up in my lap right away. He was doing his silly kitty yoga poses. What a goofball! Murdy sat on the ottoman and watched. I had the laser light going and Charlie would play with it a little bit, but he was more interested in his pets. He had fun rolling around with his cat nip toy after that!

Shadow

Shadow was right at the door, waiting to see me this morning. He walked around me while I got him some breakfast. He ate well overnight for me. Shadow got to work while I went to check his box. By the time I was done, he was already on his way in there to see what I was up to. We went to the living room to our spot next. Shadow was in love with my jeans today! Haha. He snuggled up next to me and was rubbing his face on my leg. After a little while, he ventured off to go eat some more of his food. This evening I came in and saw Shadow come running from down the hall to meet me. He helped me get his snacks, which he ate while I got him his dinner. He worked on that as I went to scoop his box. Shadow came to sit by me when I was finished. He purred away as he got his pets. After a break to eat some more, Shadow returned. He was in his playful mood again now! He hopped up on the couch and wrestled around with his kitty toy until it was time to go.

Jackson

This morning I walked in and saw Jackson waiting by the laundry room. He went out back for his potty break. I went out there with him to say hi. I asked him if he wanted to go for a walk again and he let me know that he definitely was up for that. Inside, he was zooming circles around the island! I got him hooked up and we went for a nice morning stroll. It cooled off quite a bit overnight and was a nice cool fall day today. This evening Jackson met me at the door. I came out to say hi to him and he was quite excited to see me! We came inside and I worked on getting him to eat his dinner. He was a good boy and ate almost every kibble! After that, I had him get his ball and we played a little fetch. He was very good about bringing it back too! He had to run a lap around the couch first though. Haha! After our game, Jackson got his snuggle time in.

Sadie, Chloe & Patches

This morning I came in and Sadie emerged from the bedroom. She went out for her potty break, then came in to wait for her breakfast. Patches was already waiting on the table when I got back with Sadie's food. I gave her a couple pets and scooped out her breakfast too. Chloe was already working on hers. After Sadie finished, she came to lay by me. She laid on her back and enjoyed lots of belly rubs this morning. Chloe joined us and rolled around and stretched out on the floor for her pets too. When it was time, I let Sadie out back and gave her a couple cookies. This evening Sadie was at the door and ready to come in. I fed her dinner and got some ready for Patches as well. Chloe was in her usual spot hanging out on the bed. Sadie licked her bowl clean, then she came to sit with me in our spot. Sadie sat for some pets, then rolled over for her belly rubs. I let her out for one more potty break before bed. She tried to fake me out a couple times, by running to the grass and running right back. Haha! She finally went out and did her thing, then came in for her bedtime cookie.

Hudson, Zel, Gabbie & Blackie

It was a pretty typical day today with the pups! They all met me at the door, bouncing up and down and dancing around excitedly. They went out for their potty breaks, then came in for breakfast. Everyone has eaten well this whole time. It was a pretty cool fall morning outside. Gabbie huddled by the door most of the time, ready to go in. Hudson kept busy patrolling the yard as usual. Blackie kept close to the patio but did a little exploring. Miss Zel was working on her hole a little, but then she joined Gabbie by the door. When it was time, we headed inside and I tucked the little ones in their beds. This evening I came in and let the kiddos out for their break time. Everyone raced back in when it was time for dinner. Blackie was jumping around like crazy and the little ones were bouncing up and down at my legs. I guess they were hungry. Haha! As I was delivering their bowls, Blackie knocked over the floor vase in the dining room and just about gave me a heart attack. I was so relieved that it wasn't a breakable one! Haha! All the pups ate their dinners, then we went back outside so they could play. Hudson was at the far end of the yard, barking back and forth with neighborhood dogs in the dark. All four pups had quite the chorus going for a minute there. Haha! It was still a cool evening, so the girls did some exploring, then told me they wanted in. When it was time, everyone came inside for bedtime.
