Chelsea & Beau

Today I walked in and didn't see any kitties at first. So, I went to the kitchen to fill their dishes. I heard a noise behind me,  then I saw Chelsea climb out of the cupboard! Haha. After I set their water bowl down, I saw Beau walking towards me. He walked right up to me without any hesitation! That sure didn't take long. He knew why I was there I guess! I gave him a few chin scratches, then went to get them their yummy snack. They each worked on that and Chelsea wandered off when she was finished. The kitties both sat with me for a bit to get some attention. Beau eventually got bored and went elsewhere. Chelsea, of course, loved up every minute! I brushed her for a little while. While I was doing that, she walked over to the other brush and started itching her face on it. She then was rolling around on it, brushing herself! Haha! She wasn't too interested in playing with her toys. She just wanted me to keep petting her. Beau came back again for a little more attention before I left.

Daisy & Figaro

I forgot my phone at home when I went to visit the kitties today, so I apologize for not having any cute pics! Miss Daisy was sitting on her washer and dryer when I got there. I see she left me a message about her living situation... She is not a happy camper! Haha. She left little presents all over. At least the multiple food dish plan has worked so far and she hasn't been throwing up! I got her some food to work on, while I cleaned up her area. I went outside and called for Figaro next. While I was inside getting her some water, she appeared at the door and was watching me. She's been trying to come in when I go through the door lately. I think someone wants to be an inside kitty. ;) I sat out with her for awhile. She was busy nibbling on her food at first, then we got to play time. She's so gentle when she catches her toy! Such a cutie.

Rusty & Ruby

This afternoon I let Ruby out when I got there. She was bouncing all over the place! She hopped around to the door to wait for me. When she saw I was going to get Rusty, she bounced along behind me, then was first to race for the door! Silly girl. I grabbed Rusty's ball from the kitchen. All I had to do was stick that through the doorway, then he hopped up from his chair and came running! We headed outside for awhile. Rusty laid in the grass and rolled around. As soon as I sat on the porch, Ruby came running over and stuck her head under my arm. Someone wanted some attention! She snuggled up to me for her heiny scratches, then wandered off. Rusty brought his ball over for a few throws, otherwise he was busy exploring.

Eddie & Butler

This afternoon it was just starting to rain a bit when I went to visit the boys. I let them out of their beds, then they made their way outside. They seemed to be having fun! The boys spent awhile wrestling around in the grass. Then, they were checking things out along the fence line. Neither seemed to be too concerned about getting wet. Haha. They made sure to share their wet fur and came over to give me kisses. When it was time, I called them inside. Butler wanted to keep playing instead of going to bed. He kept "hiding", or at least he thought he was. Haha.

Mac, Abby, Colty & Penny

This morning I walked in and saw the gate was pushed over. I looked up, then I saw Abby! They all escaped! Haha. Penny was going crazy running laps around the house when she saw I was there. We had a couple boo boos while they were loose, so I worked on picking that up while they went outside. I brought all their things outside for them. We were supposed to have some storms today, but I decided to take a chance and let them stay out a bit, and would come back if need be. I was hoping they could spend a little time today out there at least. They actually got to spend all morning outside! When it started to sprinkle this afternoon, I went and put them all back inside quick. The new plan worked out well. When I returned this evening, all the pups were still in their places. Since they were cooped up for a bit, we headed outside right away. I sat out there with them, and they had extra time for potty breaks before bed. Mac was having fun showing off his toy that he was carrying around. Miss Penny was bouncing up and down at my legs a lot for attention, but then she settled down with a bone she found in the yard. Abby was exploring the yard, then she took a break to eat some dinner. Colty was my little snuggle bug tonight. He hopped up in my lap and sat with me until it was time to go in for the night.

Chica & Paco

This morning I walked in and saw the kitties got a little crazy while I was gone. Haha! The scratching post was laying on its side and toys were strewn about. Both Chica and Paco heard me come in and they lined up for attention. Paco was attached to my legs while I took care of their things. Miss Chica was lovey dovey today. She hopped up on the counter and wanted some pets and chin scratches. I got them a little more of their yummy canned food for a snack. Paco worked on that while I loved on Chica a bit. I got their kitty toys out and had them both chasing and pouncing and just having a blast! Paco is almost too for me. They both made me laugh, because they'd both grab on and not let go of their toy for awhile. Haha. While Paco was having fun playing, Chica took her turn to snack on some canned food. I have to keep an eye on little Paco when I leave. He thinks he wants to come along and makes a break for the door! I had to be sneaky today. Haha.
