Oscar

This afternoon Oscar was right at the door to say hi. He got some heiny scratches, then led the way to the door. We went outside and he wanted some more attention right away. He kept walking under my legs today too. He always makes me laugh when he does that! What a goofball! It was a nice day out today. Oscar did a little exploring, then watched the kids playing next door for a bit. He barked at some people walking by, letting them know he was on patrol. After that, the sun peeked out for a bit, so he found a spot in the grass to relax and soak it all in.

Daisy & Sophie

I see Sophie was craving some sweet snacks while I was gone. I found a fortune cookie and a sucker on the floor! (Both still in packaging.) Haha! Looks like after that she did a little composing. She had music sheets and pens on the floor by the piano. Crazy lady! Miss Daisy was sitting in her new spot, by the gate waiting for her dinner. I got that ready for her and went to scoop the boxes. After the fish were fed, I spent some time with Sophie. She enjoyed some pets, then wandered off to go lounge on the floor. She tried jumping up to paw at the fish tank after that! She sure is into everything isn't she. Haha!

Conroy, Penny, Ricky, Ace, Jacob & the kitties

This morning I fed everyone their breakfast when I arrived. Penny and Conroy finished first, so I let them out back right away. Ace was last to finish up, so I waited inside with him. After he went outside, I went to feed the kitties. Mator was lounging on the bed. Bernadine must be hiding for now, since I have yet to see her. When it was time, I got the boys all fixed up and brought everyone in. This afternoon it was pretty nice outside. All the kiddos went out to play and enjoy the weather. I sat out there with them and they all took turns to visit me. Penny would jump up to say hi, then Ricky and Ace were at my feet, giving my hands kisses as I tried to pet them both. I rounded everyone up when it was time to come in. This evening, the pups went out for their last potty break. It was still quite nice out this evening. The kiddos were busy running around and exploring in the dark. They would run up for a few pets now and then. I got everyone tucked in their beds when it was time. Oddly enough, Ace has been doing well when I put him in his bed. (At least, while I'm still there.) It seems that Conroy is the one that's being the most vocal about bedtime!

Annie, Izzy & Cali

This morning the girls were crazy excited when I came in. They raced into the garage to eat their breakfast. Annie checked to make sure Izzy finished all hers. Yep, clean bowl! The girls went out back, then I went to feed Cali. She was watching out the front window when I came in. She meowed at me while I pet her for awhile. After that, it was time to eat. Cali worked on her dinner while I got the birds some fresh food and water. It was a nice morning out, so I sat out with the girls a little longer. This afternoon, it was nice out again. Annie and Izzy went to the garage to eat quick before their potty break. Cali came running down the hall when she heard me open the door. She and I sat in the living room for some attention time. After that, Annie, Izzy and I sat out and enjoyed the afternoon for awhile. This evening, Annie was right at the door, and Izzy was on her way, running for it! She was full of energy. I let them go play a bit. Cali was ready for her pamper session. She got her pets and chin scratches before her dinner. The girls came in when it was time and they both curled up with their bones to chew on before bed.

Molly, Emma & the kitties

This morning the girls were both relaxing in their room. I let them out and Miss Molly was able to get up on her own today. It was supposed to be a little bit cooler, but still very nice out. So, the girls got to spend the day outside again. I brought their breakfast out to the patio for them. Emma ate well. Molly just ate her cookie and nibbled a little on her food. Inside, Henry and Charlie came to visit me for awhile. I could see Smudge's green glowy eyes up on top of the piano. Perfect for the holiday! Haha. This evening the girls got up when I opened the door and they came inside for dinner. Molly retired to her room, so I brought her bowl to her. Emma didn't eat at first for me, and just went to lay in the living room. While I went to clean the kitty box, she worked up her appetite. The girls both ate well tonight. Afterwards, Emma was following me around. "Where's my cookie?" Haha. I got the girls their snacks, then visited with the cats a bit. Henry was sitting up on the barstool, checking out the mail. I moved that so he wouldn't get any ideas after I left. Charlie was up on the table giving me head butts. I stopped to visit Micah in the bedroom when I said good night to the ladies.
