Frankie

This evening I arrived and Frankie bashfully walked upto me while I complimented her on her new haircut. I slipped on her collar and we headed out. The grass was all mushy and wet from it raining all day. Frankie didn't mind one bit. She ran right through a puddle without a care in the world, dragging me with her! It was almost deja vu from last time it rained. I think she enjoyed the aftermath of rain. We headed back upstairs once she was done. We stopped by the door so I could wipe off her wet little feet. She was so good and lifted up every paw for me. After that I gave her dinner. She ate it up within seconds, then she was all hyper. She started running around and then quickly sat down by me for some attention. She was so silly.

Sugar, Buddy, Jimmy & Charlie

This afternoon it was raining again. I let the kiddos outside and they were soon all lined up at the door to head back in. Buddy worked on eating while I played fetch with Jimmy. Sugar went and snuggled up in the blanket on the couch. I got them each a treat and let them roam the house for the afternoon. This evening when I got there, the sun was actually peeking out! I noticed someone was having fun with the food bowl while I was gone. The kibble was strewn out all over the floor by the fridge! We all headed outside for a little bit. They took advantage of it and roamed around before it was time for meds. Buddy worked on some dinner after I got it picked up. Jimmers snuggled on the couch with me for awhile. Miss Sugar had gone back to bed, coming out only when she knew it was treat time!

Buckley, Chloe, Tizzy, JR & Bootsie

Today Bootsie had to cling onto the back of the chair for dear life when I opened the door! JR was sleeping on the chair and shot off of it when I opened it, to run with the others to the back door. That sent poor Bootsie flying back and forth for a second! It was rainy out still today, which the pups thought was great. They instantly got muddy as they ran around the yard! Today they sat around the tree closest to the back door most of the time. I actually got a video of Tizzy going up the side of the tree! I thought they were just looking at birds that were flying around, but soon I located that sassy little squirrel. He was just chilling on a branch, safely up high. When it was time to head in, I took them in one by one to dry off. JR and Tizzy were so muddy that I had to give them a little hose down.

Winston

This afternoon Winston was all curled up on the couch again when I came in. He waited until I said his name, then he got all excited, hopping down and running over to see me! We got his leash on and headed outside. He did both for me, then we walked over to get a bag. They were all gone. So, since it was only sprinkling out, we walked around to find another one. That one was empty too, so we walked over to my car to get one. After we got back upstairs I realized there was a whole bunch in his basket! At least we got a little walk in anyways. I noticed he had snagged something off the ground on the way back when he laid down to chew on it under the table. He thought it would be fun to play keep-away! I had to bribe him with a yummy treat to get it away. Little stinker! But he's still just too darn cute. Haha. I grabbed his toy and we played some tug of war and fetch with it the rest of the time.

Miranda

This afternoon Miranda came to meet me at the door. She did a big stretch, then walked sleepily to the back door. Today she actually walked out into the grass herself, even though it was raining. The walked right by the corner of the house, just far enough into the grass as she had to. She did her thing, then came right back onto the patio. She headed to the door, wanting to go right back in! I got her a fresh bowl of water, then noticed she had already wandered off back to bed.

Daisy & Casper

This morning I got the food and water ready for the kitties. I cleaned their boxes next, then took care of the fish. Soon, I went around the house and checked rooms for miss Daisy, closing doors behind me as I went. I wanted to make sure she couldn't just go hide elsewhere. I found her sitting comfortably under the master bed. I tried to lure her out with a bowl of delicious canned food, but that didn't work. So, I scooted her out from under the bed. She took off and decided to go right in her room! I closed the gate, then let her get to working on her breakfast. I went back and opened all the doors, then went to go see Casper. Since Daisy was in his room, he decided to pick a new spot today. This time he was lounging under the bed upstairs.

Izzy, Daisy, Toby & fish

Already in laundry rubbing on counter, play with shirt string, new cd
This morning Izzy must have heard my car pull in the driveway. She was already in the laundry room, rubbing up against the corner of the counter, waiting for me! She meowed and raced ahead of me to the bedroom to plop on the floor and start rolling around. I put the third Taylor Swift cd in for her today before I went to clean her litterboxes. She was very talkative today! When I finished, we hung out in her room for awhile. She gave me a little kiss by touching our noses together, then she rubbed her face on mine. She had fun playing with the strings on my sweatshirt for awhile too. I went to feed the fishies, then headed out by Daisy and Toby. They were both snuggled in the dog house on the patio again. They were excited for their treat! Toby stood against my legs for his. I pet them for a bit, then went back in by Izzy. She got some yummy treats too.
