Hudson, Zel & Gabbie

This evening all was quiet as I walked up. As soon as the door was opening though, the pups all started barking. I let them out for a quick potty break while I started getting their dinner ready. After they ate, I let them back out for awhile. It was chilly out, so the girls didn't want to stay out long. I went inside with them and sat on the floor to pet them. They were sure having fun checking me out and sniffing at all the other animal scents on me. Haha! Later on, they both snuggled up on their blanket together to get ready for bed. Hudson was still having fun exploring and patrolling the yard outside. When it was time, I called him in for the night. First thing he did when he came in, was to double check that all the bowls were empty. Haha!

Oreo & Stuffs

This morning I came in and the boys lined up in the kitchen for breakfast. I got Oreo his meds and then delivered their food. Oreo took a couple nibbles, then wandered off right away. Stuffy on the other hand, ate pretty well for me this morning. He cleaned up his canned food plate and ate some of his dry. After he got his meds, I took care of my other stuff quick. The boys were both waiting for me by the fireplace when I finished. The boys both laid down and enjoyed their attention session. This evening I came in and Oreo came racing towards me from the dining room. I don't know why, but that made me laugh! I had put away all their dry food leftovers and only left them canned to work on, so maybe he was just hungry. Haha. I got them their food and they went to work. Oreo didn't snack long, surprisingly. He took a few bites, then went to get into position for his chin rub time. Haha. Stuffy ate very well. He finished his canned again and ate even more of his dry right away. He seems to be transitioning pretty well! After he ate he got his meds. He did well and stayed for more back scratches. I did notice his left eye was a bit runny tonight, but not sure why. I will keep an eye on that. I turned the fire on and the boys laid on either side of me to take their little cat naps as they got pet. Stuffy was right up by the fire, curled in a little ball and making kitty biscuits while I stroked his tummy. Oreo made sure I got every inch of his chin! I put the leftover food back up again tonight since Stuffy ate so well. Hopefully Oreo will start catching on too.
