This afternoon Rusty met me in the kitchen, on my way to let Ruby out. The pups came outside with me to do their business. Then, they both went inside right away. It was a little windy out, so maybe that's why. We went in the living room to play with Lance a bit. Lance had a blast, as usual, with his feather toy! I had the pups go outside with me again later. Rusty was zooming around, acting excited. Then I realized, he didn't have his ball! He thought maybe I had it, then he was searching for it everywhere. The other toys laying right in the yard, just wouldn't do! We went in again so I could put Lance's toys away. Rusty moved his food dishes, so I checked to see if it was under there. Nope. He followed me outside as I left and had a horrified look on his face, "You're not going to play fetch with me?!" He couldn't find a toy he wanted to play with, so maybe tomorrow!
