Griffin & Macy

This evening Griffin and Macy went outside for a bit. The rain was headed our way, so wd were hoping to spend as much time outside as we could. It was nice and cool out this evening, so Griffin and I got plenty of fetch time in. Miss Macy was pretty lovey dovey and sat with me for most of the time. She was loving getting her ears rubbed! It started to rain a bit, so we headed inside for the last few minutes. They both got a drink and had some supper.

Titus & Angel

This morning I got the pups' collars on, then let them outside. They came in and nibbled a bit on their breakfast. Angel would keep taking a mouthful of kibbles over to the rug to lay down and eat them. Then, she'd go get another bite and repeat. She thought she'd steal a mouthful from Titus's bowl too! We played a little fetch, then Titus and I chased a bit. This evening it had just started sprinkling when I arrived. We are due for some storms tonight, but have had a cooler, gorgeous day today. The pups came in and worked on their dinner for a bit. Angel was almost too excited to eat, and kept coming by me for attention. Eventually,  she settled down and ate. We went back outside to enjoy some more of the cooler evening before bedtime. We could see the dark storm clouds rolling in. When it was time, I put them to bed and made them comfortable for the night.

Dillon, Ty & Boo

This morning Boo came racing to the door when I came in. He was zooming all over the place this morning, doing a slide at the end whenever he stopped! The boys started to bark hello when they heard me talking to Boo. I let them outside right away. Boo helped me with all the other chores. He gave me a little reminder that I needed to pet him in between doing different things! Haha! I sat and pet him for a minute, then went to check on the boys. They were busy checking things out around the yard. We came in a couple minutes early to get their muddy paws cleaned off. Afterwards, we played in the living room a bit. I tried to get them to play with some of their toys with me. Ty was the only one to humor me and would tug on any toy i pulled out of their basket! Dillon just bounced around excitedly. This evening I let the boys outside. It was just beginning to sprinkle a bit, so I wanted to let them have as much time outside as possible. They have been so good! Boo was of course chasing me around and making sure I got everything done. He got some time for some chin scratches tonight. He sat on the back of the toilet to make sure I scooped his litter box just right. He makes me laugh! I went out to see the boys and it was still just sprinkling out, so we hung outside for a bit. I sat outside with the boys, so we all got rained on just a tiny bit, but it wasn't bad at all. Dillon sat with me most of the time, trying to jump in my lap and giving me kisses!  Ty was playing the keep-away game. He would run off, and after me calling and trying to coax him over, he would run excitedly back! Then he'd take off and do it all over again. Silly boy! Before bed I had them come in and I cleaned their eyes up.

Griffin & Macy

This morning Griffin and Macy were sleeping when I first walked in. The popped up quickly and were ready to go outside. Griffin was excited because I brought his ball back outside for him! He had me throw it a couple times, then he and Macy wandered about the yard. Macy sat with me for a little while to get pet. They were having fun outside, so we stayed out for most of the time. We did head inside when Griff was ready. He ate a bunch for breakfast, and Macy nibbled too. Griffin wasn't wanting to share the bowl much this morning, so she had to sneak a few bites in when he wasn't watching. We went back outside again for awhile. Griffin was ready for some more fetch! This afternoon Macy was in a deep sleep when I arrived. I let Griffin outside, then moved her blanket slightly to wake her without startling her. She opened her eyes and got up to go out with us. Griffin stared at me, wanting me to play some fetch with him right away! While he was doing that, Macy was snuggling up to me. Griff faked me out a couple times, acting like he was going to give me the ball, but took off when I tried to grab it! It was pretty muggy outside, so we went in for them to get a drink. Griffin drank some water, then went back to the door, ready to play again. He had me throw his ball a few times, until he got tired and relaxed in the grass. Macy was either exploring around the yard, or watching the fence for any movement from the neighbor dogs. When it was time, we headed back inside the nice cool house.
