Ginger & Tiger

The kiddos were waiting by the gate for me to let them out this evening. I opened it up and miss Ginger made her way to the door. Tiger was hesitant at first. I lifted Ginger up and took her out. Then, Tiger was ready to go! They both did their business, then lined up at the door again. I told them we didn't have to go back in right away, and that they could spend some time out back. It was so nice out! I sat outside with them, while they wandered around a bit. Eventually, it was time to go in and I got them their snacks.

Rusty & Ruby

This afternoon Rusty was hopping down from his nap on the couch. I let Ruby out and she bounced her way to the door, with Rusty prancing along behind her, carrying his ball. We got outside and Rusty went to roll around in the grass. I called for Ruby to come out, and she did her business right away. I sat on the edge of the patio and she came to get some heiny scratches from me. Rusty was busy exploring around the yard. I couldn't sit out there too long, since the skeeters thought I was pretty tasty today! After we went in, the pups and I sat in the front room.

Winston

This afternoon Winston got out of his bed and did a big stretch. He walked me to the door and I got him hooked up and ready to go. We went out and got a nice long walk in today. Winston had fun traipsing around in the tall grass area. That was, until he came to meet a grasshopper! That sent him hopping quickly back to the shorter grass. Haha! We wandered around for awhile longer, and Winston was busy checking everything out. He saw a pretty butterfly today too, that he followed around for a minute. When we got back, we had a little game of tug with his rope toy.

Eddie & Butler

This afternoon I heard Eddie give a big yawn when I walked in. Butler was laying upside down in his crate. Silly boy. I let them out and they excitedly said hi, before running outside. Butler went and plopped himself down in a sunny spot in the grass. Eddie wandered over and tried to get him to play, then gave up and joined him to relax. The neighbor pup came out for a bit, so they both ran over to check that out. The boys were in and out today, getting a drink and cooling off. When it was time to go in, Butler wanted to play his game and wouldn't come inside. I waited him out today, and he went in after awhile.
