Sadie, Zoie & Cole

This morning everyone was excited to go outside. I let them each out, then dried them off. It was time for breakfast, so I put them each in their beds to eat. Sadie and Cole finished quickly. I let Zoie out while the other two were in the living room with me, since that seemed to help yesterday. It worked again. Since she wanted to play, she quickly finished up, so she wouldn't have to protect it. Haha! Sadie and Cole were busy hogging my attention, so Zoie was sitting by the table crying at me. That got Sadie riled up. Then, the girls were racing laps around the table! This afternoon Zoie got plenty of fetch time in after they all went outside. She kept bringing me a tennis ball, so I'd bounce it down the hall for her. The other two were content getting their scratches. This evening Sadie spent awhile outside, enjoying the snow falling. After everyone ate, we spent some time in the living room before bed. Zoie came running in with something I didn't think she should have! Once I got it from her, I realized it was a little dog bootie. I don't know where she got that from! When it was time, I tucked everyone in bed for the night.

Rusty & Ruby

This afternoon I came in and peeked in the living room to find Rusty all cozy on the couch. He was all snuggled in the blanket! I let Ruby out, then noticed the cute little kitten under the table. It was hissing as the dogs were going crazy! I picked the kitty up and set it somewhere safe from the commotion. The pups were both at the back door, waiting for me. I let them out and we headed outside. Rusty had his ball all ready to go. I tossed it around for him a little, then we went in to warm up. The pups both hopped on the couch and I sat with them and pet them a bit. The little kitten joined us and was playing in the window. I carefully bounced Rusty's ball around in the living room for him, since he kept putting it in my lap. Haha! Later, we went outside again so Ruby could have another potty break. I played fetch with Rusty some more before I left.

Flax

This morning the boys were in their usual spot, all toasty by the heaters. Boney got up and was following me around everywhere. Flax watched from his bed. I got them their breakfast, and both boys went to work on it right away. When Flax had enough, he went back to lay on his bed. I sat by him awhile and pet him. Little Boney came wandering over, wanting some pets too. Before I left, I took food out to the barn. I called for Booty, then heard a little meow coming from outside. Turns out, it was Boney. Haha! He came running over to check things out. I shooed him out of the barn and closed the door. This afternoon the boys were napping again when I walked in. I got them some fresh water. Boney tried coming in the house with me! I was able to stop him before he could run inside. Curious little kitty. As I was leaving, the boys both came outside. They wandered to the front yard together and were sniffing around at the snow. They're best buds! This evening my boys were snoozing, as usual. They both woke up when I turned the lights on. I got them their dinner and turned on their heaters. It was starting to snow pretty good again outside. The boys both worked on their food. Boney came over when he finished for the moment. He made me laugh! I was bending down to pet him and he started pawing playfully at my hair.

Sadie, Zoie & Cole

This morning I let Zoie outside, then the other two. They came in and all ate their breakfast. Zoie hadn't quite finished when the other two did. She kept running into the living room, would cry like she wanted to play, then would run back to her food. We could hear her growling about it, all by herself in there! Little goober. :) She would take a couple bites and do it all over again, until she finally finished. Cole was enjoying me getting all his itchies for him. He even returned the favor. He would walk around behind me to roll around and was kicking at my back! Haha. This afternoon I let everyone out for their potty breaks. Sadie was out front for quite awhile. She was sitting there, just staring in the distance. I thought maybe she was curious about the snowman across the street. But then I saw, she was watching a black kitty over there! Zoie was having a blast zooming around out back in the snow. Everyone came in and got dried off. Zoie played with her toys, while the other two took turns pawing at me for attention. This evening they all went outside before dinner time. When they were done, Sadie was being silly and tried wrestling around with Zoie. All Zoie wanted to do was play fetch with me. I let Sadie out again before bed, since she kept going by the door. I guess she just wanted to go watch her kitty friend, who was wandering about again.

Flax

This morning Flax and Boney were all snuggled on the bed in front of the heaters. Boney did a big stretch, then came over to be pet. Flax was sleeping so soundly, so I gently touched his head, so as not to startle him. He woke up and watched as I got them their breakfast. Boney had pushed all his bowls on the floor last night. He finished the yummy can of food I had given him too. He was right there, ready to eat! I went to take food out for Booty. I called for him, but still didn't see him today. I assume he stopped by though, because all the food from yesterday was gone. Flax stayed where he was at when I got his breakfast, since he was comfy. I stopped by and gave him a few pets before I left. This afternoon both boys were awake and lounging on Flax's bed. Boney came trotting over to see me. I pet him for a few minutes, then headed in to get the boys some water. I applied some of the antibiotic cream to Flax's sore today. It is looking to be in the healing process. He, of course, wiped his face to get it off. At least he didn't open up the sore again. I gave Flax a treat while I was there. He quickly worked on that! As I was leaving, both boys came outside to stretch their legs a bit. This evening, Flax and Boney were in their usual spot, all snuggled up together. I got them each a can of food for their dinner. I mixed Flax's in with his dry food. As I did that, Boney came running over and started to eat it! That made Flax hop up and come over, so the little guy wouldn't eat it all! They sat there and both nibbled out of the bowl together. They're so cute! I turned on the heaters for them so they'll be nice and warm for bedtime.

Tilly, Rita, Daisy & the kitties

This morning I spotted Daisy sitting on the back of the couch. She didn't budge when I walked in, so she must have been comfy. I let Tilly outside and got her some breakfast and water. Then, I picked up Daisy to get her harness on. Little Man came over and kept walking up against my arms, so it was rather challenging to get it on her! Haha! I took her for a short walk and she went potty a couple times. When we got back, I took Rita out back by Tilly. Tilly was dancing around and too excited to work on her food. Rita barely went on the snow, just far enough to do her business, then back to the house it was! They were all inside, so I brought Tilly's food in to see if she'd work on it. She was just dancing around, carrying her toy. I went upstairs with Little Man on my heels, to make sure they had enough food and to clean their box. I put the girls in their room when it was time to go.

Giblet & the kitties

This morning I let Giblet outside. She bounced around in the snow for a bit, and did some exploring. When she came in, she was full of energy. She tried to chase after the kitties a bit. I got her some breakfast, and she got some yummy canned food this morning. As I opened the can, Oreo, Xavier and Skylar all wandered into the kitchen. I guess Gibs was sharing this morning! Oreo snuck bites out of her bowl, then took them elsewhere to eat. Silly cat! We spent some time in the living room after she finished. She got to play outside again a little longer before I left. This afternoon Gibs was talking to the neighborhood outside. Skylar came over for some attention. She purred away! When Giblet came back in, she laid by me for some belly rubs. Once she moved to a different spot, the kitties surrounded me. Oreo sat in my lap, then I was petting Skylar and Xavier on either side. This evening Giblet went outside, but came back in pretty quick. She was being silly tonight. She ran and leapt onto the couch. Later, she sat in front of me and kept sneaking some kisses! She went back outside to play a little while again before bedtime.

Tilly, Rita, Daisy & kitties

This evening Daisy came up to me when I walked in. When she realized it wasn't who she thought it was, she took off. She ran to hide by Tilly's cage. I grabbed out her leash and knelt down nearby. She was acting a little shy, but didn't object to me putting her harness on. Once that was on, we went outside for a quick walk. It was pretty cold out, and I wasn't sure if she would venture out into the snow or not. After we walked a little ways, she did, and went potty for me. Then, we walked quickly back to the house. I let Tilly and Rita out for their potty breaks next. Tilly came in and was prancing around with her toy. I made sure the kitties had enough food and water, then I put everyone to bed.

Flax

This morning I walked in and saw Flax was lounging on his bed. Boney was in there too, and he quickly hopped up, not sure yet what to think of me. He quickly made up his mind and came wandering over for some attention. I went inside to feed the fish and get them some fresh water. Boney hopped right up and started chowing down on his breakfast! I got Flax some food too, then stopped to pet him a bit. I went to the barn to give Booty some food as well, but I didn't see him in there. This afternoon I walked in and saw the cutest thing!! Boney was all snuggled up with Flax on his bed. They looked so cute and cozy. I got them some more water, then went to visit with them. I had gloves on, which Boney thought were pretty interesting. He sniffed at them a bit, then tried swatting at my fingers, like they were toys. He wasn't quite sure what to do. Haha! As I left, Flax wandered outside to see me off. This evening, Flax was already in the driveway. He came up to the car to see who was here. Flax came in the garage with me and laid on his bed. I got them both some more food for the evening. I plugged in and turned on both heaters for Flax, since it was getting chilly out.

Sadie, Zoie & Cole

This morning I let Zoie outside first. She was busy playing out in the snow and didn't want to come in for a bit. Sadie and Cole went out next. Cole does his thing and hurries back inside. Even he was a little cold and shivery this morning! When they came in I fed them all their breakfast. Everyone ate well. Then, we played a little in the living room. This afternoon I let Sadie out first, since she was closest to the door. She was busy exploring for awhile, so I let the little ones out back. Zoie was having a blast! The snow was up to her chest, so she was hopping along around the yard. Cole was even being playful out there for a bit. I dried everyone off once they came in. I grabbed a tennis ball and bounced it around for Cole, since he was being goofy. He wound run after it and pounce on it! Pretty good for not being able to see well. Zoie was content chewing on her bone. But then, she stole our tennis ball! This evening, the pups all did their business. They ate their dinners pretty quick too. We sat in the living room for a bit before bedtime. Cole wanted his heiny scratched, while Sadie was busy giving me kisses.
