Pheonix, Coal & Oliver
The boys were very sleepy this morning! Pheonix came up to me after I was already inside. Usually he is waiting by the door for me. Oliver was snuggled up in the sweatshirt on the couch and Coal was snoozing on his blankie. It was a little cooler out this morning yet, so they did their business and came right back inside. After they got their treats, they all curled up around me and took a nap. This afternoon it got really nice out! The boys were excited to go outside and spent most of the time out there. They explored over by the gate for awhile. I wasn't sure what they were looking for! Then Pheonix and Oliver said hi to Max. Oliver was having fun kicking the remaining snow around with his back feet! Pheonix laid down on the patio in the sun and was really enjoying it!

Harvi, Porthos & Athos
I left the boys in tonight since it was still cold out. I did a longer visit tonight since they were cooped up again. Port and Atti followed me into the garage to feed Harvi. A lot of the snow melted, so the backyard was all wet and muddy. Harvi was waiting for me when I opened the door. There's all kinds of kitty prints on the hood of the truck! Atti climbed up there while I was waiting for Harvi to finish. All of a sudden Port started getting playful and hopped up there too and ran all the way up the windshield to the top where Atti was sitting! He started jumping and ducking his head, batting at Atti! Then they had a stare down. Must have been playing king of the hill! They both jumped at each other and swatted. Port lost, and jumped down to the spare tire on the back. When they were done goofing around we went back in the house. Port snuggled with me for a long time and Atti came by once in awhile. When I was petting Port, I heard a weird noise coming from the kitchen. I looked and Atti was playing with a paper towel roll on the counter!
Hmm... telephone culprit maybe?
Miss Ella & Cali
Miss Ella and Cali were both standing by the door when I came in today. They must have heard me coming! I said hi to them both for a few minutes and then went to clean their litter boxes. Miss Ella followed me all over the place wherever I went. Cali went and sat behind the tv while Miss Ella came up by me on the couch. She crawled right into my lap and started purring immediately! I grabbed the feather toy and tried to get them to play with it. Cali swatted at it a couple times, but wasn't too interested. Miss Ella chased after it for a few minutes and lost interest. Later Cali went into the front office and curled up on the chair.
Kira, Bunky & Lisa Lee
Kira and Bunky were in the living room when I came in today. Kira came right up to me and started purring and rubbing against my leg. Bunky was laying on the floor where the light comes in through the window. I was walking through the hallway to clean the litter box and saw miss Lisa Lee in the bedroom. She looked at me for a minute and as I started to approach her, she went into hiding. After I was finished cleaning up, Kira spent the rest of the time getting pet by me! Bunky stayed in the living room and rolled over a couple times in between her naps. Lisa Lee made an appearance again, and this time came to sniff me. She and Kira started cleaning each other's faces. She let me pet her for a minute, then explored around the living room.
Koko & Sierra
Koko & Sierra were bouncing up and down like usual when I came in this morning! Sierra didn't eat her supper from last night. I got their breakfast ready, and hopefully she will eat that after I leave. She wasn't acting sick at all though! While I was cleaning up their potty pads she grabbed a rope toy and started jumping around with it. She tossed it up in the air and caught it! Then she ran over to me, as if she were saying "See what I got? Wanna play?". She tossed it around some more, then started chasing after Koko. They both were running around on the bed, crouching and pouncing at each other! We got to play lighty for a little while this morning before I left. This evening I came in and Sierra still hadn't eaten. I was starting to get a little worried! After I got their supper ready, instead of going to clean their pads up right away, I stayed in the kitchen with Sierra. She picked the chicken off at first, but then she finished her food for me! Phew! That made me feel better. We played lighty for a bit after I was done cleaning up. When we were playing, Koko got one of her ears flipped over! It was so funny, but it didn't even phase her! Finally it flipped back on its own as she was chasing the light around.
Pheonix, Coal & Oliver
This morning it was already starting to turn to freezing rain and sleet. The boys were happy to see me when I got there! I went outside with them and I walked out onto the grass to try and coax Coal to go potty. He did go for me, so that was good! When they came back in, they took turns eating and drinking. Pheonix came and sat by me like usual. He put his paw up on my knee a couple times this morning, so I let him out, but I guess he was just fibbing! Coal curled up on his little blankie while I pet him and Oliver laid under his table. At my early afternoon visit I went to check the mail, and the box was frozen shut! There was a layer of ice all over the mailbox. The boys all met me at the door and started bouncing around when I came in. I let them out potty and Coal wasn't sure about that white stuff! He eventually wandered out and went for me. Pheonix and Oliver were enjoying themselves and eating snow! They all came back in covered in white. At my late afternoon visit I decided to check the mail again, and it opened for me this time. The snow was starting to let up a little, but it'd be back later. I let the boys out multiple times while I was there. Pheonix kept giving me his signal to go out! When they were inside, they'd snuggle up and get nice and cozy. Coal seems to like to eat while I'm there, but the other two must eat when I leave. At my early evening visit the boys did their business and came back inside the warm house. They sure know when it's time for their yum yums! The snow is starting to get deep, but Pheonix sure doesn't seem to mind! They were starting to get sleepy, so they all made themselves comfy and relaxed. Oliver and Pheonix met me at the door for my late evening visit. Coal was all curled up sleeping on his blankie! Someone must have decided they wanted to play with the paper calendar on the table. It was on the floor and had a couple holes in it. They all went out for me a few times and got their yum yums for going potty. Afterward they snuggled up on the floor by me and went to sleep.
Time for yum yums!!!

Harvi, Porthos & Athos
I went to see Harvi and the boys a little earlier today due to the weather and road conditions. I figured the boys would be happy to get inside too! They were both sitting in the garage and peeked out at me when I pulled up. You acquired some new pets while you were gone! There were two little robins in the garage. They must have crawled in through the opening when the kitties weren't looking! I put the boys inside and opened the garage all the way to get them out. They didn't want to go! Too cold! I finally gave up and got Harvi's food ready. She was all holed up in her house, with snow drifts at the entrance. She didn't want to come out at first. After I dug her bowl out of the snow I let her in the garage to eat so she could warm up a little. I stayed with her until she was finished then let her back out. She didn't like the birds in the garage! I went inside and spent some time with the boys. I did a longer visit today since they were home and stuck inside. They were super snuggly today! When it was getting to be time to go, I figured I'd give it one more shot to try and get the birds out. I didn't want the boys to be bringing "presents" in the house! I took a broom and helped them find their way, and they went right out.
"Stop! No more pictures!"
Koko & Sierra
The girls were all snuggled up on the bed this morning and came stretching down the steps to see me. I thought maybe Miss Sierra was on a routine of eating her breakfast and not her dinner for me, but she didn't want to eat this morning. She did pick off all the pieces of chicken though. When I came in tonight, Sierra hadn't finished all of her food and someone had vomited, so my guess was her. I got her fresh food for supper, but she still wasn't interested. While I was cleaning up their potty pads she was whining at me. Then she started jumping around and rolling all over the floor! We didn't really have time to play lighty tonight since I was cleaning up, and I think they were pretty disappointed. I can't blame them! We'll have to make up for it tomorrow!
Pheonix, Coal & Oliver
This morning Pheonix was up already and met me at the door. The other two were still sleeping. Oliver was snuggled up on the couch and Coal was sleeping in the kitchen on the rug. Coal didn't wake up until I went over by him and called his name! He must be a deep sleeper. They all went out for me this morning when I got there and again before I left. They were still pretty sleepy so they all curled up by me for awhile. For my early afternoon visit, I let the boys spend as much time outside as possible, since they'd probably be cooped up tomorrow. Oliver always waited until I was fully outside to come out with us. They all explored around the yard and enjoyed the nice warm sun. Pheonix got a little jealous... I was petting Coal and he came over and pulled my hand away with his paw! For my late afternoon visit we all spent the majority of it outside. Pheonix and I ran around the yard for a bit while Oliver was saying hi to Max. After they were all tired out they laid in the house by the kitchen. Tonight at my early night visit they were all ready to go outside! When they were done they all ran into the kitchen and waited for their yum yums! The boys lounged around inside and Coal had some supper. I turned on the tv for them for the night and left their night light on. I also turned the heat on, so they'll be nice and warm when the cold hits! For my late night visit the boys all met me at the door when I came in. It had been raining now for awhile, and definitely is getting cold out! I let them all out and went outside with them. Coal came out, but didn't want to venture out into the grass to go potty. I tried taking him out front, but the rain was blowing around so bad, that didn't work either. I'm sure he'll have to go when I come in the morning and maybe it will have turned over by then. They were all pretty sleepy and laid down shortly after they came inside. They're all doing great!
