Shadow

This morning Shadow came in and started working on his breakfast right away. I got out his treats for him while he snacked. He didn't seem to like his little brown fish one this morning. Haha. I cleaned his box, then we sat in the living room a bit. Shadow rolled around on the floor, rubbing his head on his green feather ball. Later, he hopped up on the couch behind me and nuzzled in my hair. Then, he crawled down from my shoulder, down my chest and to my lap. Silly boy! We played with his feather toy for a minute, but it wasn't long before he got bored with that.

Cate, Carson & Bella

This morning the pups were all fast asleep when I walked in. I turned on the light, then they each got up. Cate had a booboo in her bed, so I got her and Carson outside right away. While they were busy, I cleaned up. They had some time out there, so I checked on Bella. I scooped out her box. I pet her, but then she was being a sassy girl. Haha! Cate and Carson were ready to come in, so I let the other two out. Gracie and Sassy had both gotten their meds. Gracie wandered out and went potty on her own. When they were done, they returned to their beds and they each got their snacks. This evening Cate and Carson went outside, while I got dinner ready. Everyone ate well this evening. Gracie was the first to finish, so I let her go out to do her business. Once Sassy was done, I gave her her eye medicine, then took her out. Cate and Carson got their turn again when they were done. The pups were too wiggly today, doing their happy bulldog dances, so I couldn't get any good pictures!

Gracie, Emma, Molly & the kitties

This morning I saw Micah sitting on a foot stool when I walked in. When I passed back through the kitchen he was gone! Haha. I let the older gals outside for awhile. I got everyone's breakfast ready and put a new treat in the orange ball. The girls came in to eat, while Gracie took her turn out. When I walked into the dining room to visit with Molly, Emma and the cats, I noticed the plastic part from the treat container was laying on the floor. I guess one of the kitties didn't want it in the trash! I put it back in there. Later, I see they had pulled the cardboard part out and Henry was busy playing with it. Haha! This afternoon it was so nice out. I let Molly and Emma spend awhile outside to enjoy the nice weather. Gracie was sitting in the closet. I asked her to come out and she actually came willingly, following me all the way to the backyard! She's doing so good. I let her have the afternoon to play outside again since it was warm out. This evening Gracie came in to eat her dinner, while the other two went outside. Smudge was cracking me up tonight. I saw she was carrying around a shoestring! Henry saw that too, and he went running along behind her. It looked like she was taking him for a walk. Haha! When it was time, all the girls went to bed and got a yummy snack.

Cate, Carson & Bella

This evening I came in and read mom's notes. I went to let Cate and Carson out first. They were too excited! It took a little bit for them to calm down, then they went out for me. I fed the other two, while they were busy outside. Cate barked when she was ready to come in. Next, it was their turn to eat. I let Gracie and Sassy out. Gracie wandered around the dog room, while I gave Sassy her drops and took her out. She was quick to do her business! Then, I took Gracie out for her turn. I got the girls a little water in their cages, since they didn't spend long outside. While Cate and Carson went out again, I went to see Bella. All the kiddos got their treat when they went to bed.

Shadow

This morning Shadow wandered into the kitchen. He followed me closely, all around the house. I got him some new food, then we headed to our spot. He curled up on the couch behind my head. He rested his head against mine and purred away. He's so sweet. He sat on my lap for awhile, then went to snack on some breakfast. Later, he was getting a little frisky with his pillow! Haha. This evening, he helped me get his snacks and pick out a couple new cans of food. He nibbled a little on one plate, while I turned on lights and scooped his box. When I finished, he snuggled up with me for awhile. He had that look in his eye, so I didn't quite trust him nuzzling the back of my head! Haha! I brought out his feather toy and he went crazy with that. He rolled around and tackled it. As I was leaving, Shadow went to snack on the other food I left out for him.

Taz & Clyde

This morning it was quite foggy outside. On the radio they said it was freezing fog! When I arrived, the boys met me at the door with their tails wagging. We got them all hooked up and ready for our walk. We took a decent walk this morning. Clyde got all excited when a car went by and made a plastic bag fly in the air as it passed. Haha! When we got home, the boys walked me to the garbage can to deposit their bags. Then, they got dried off and we went in for their breakfast. This afternoon it had gotten very nice out! I let the boys outside, while I got them each a chew. They took their snack and looked for the perfect spot to lay. We spent the whole time outside since it was so nice.

Diesel & Odin

This morning the boys must have been fast asleep when I arrived. I opened the door, then they finally got up and came out to see me! They lined up in their spots for breakfast. Diesel made me laugh, because he was walking in circles around his bowl as he ate. I think he was trying to keep Odin from getting too close. I got them each a cookie this morning, then I went to check their water. It was frozen again since it was cooler out this morning, so I broke up all the ice. The boys took their drinks, then they each came over for some attention. They sure love their chest and back scratches! This evening, as I pulled in the driveway, I saw Diesel and Odin racing to the gate. They were happy to see me! Or they were hungry. Haha. We went to their house to get their dinner. Odin was so excited to eat that he spilled his bowl over and kibbles went flying everywhere! He got it all cleaned up though. Diesel was busy with his food, so he didn't even notice. They both sat for me for a cookie after dinner. After they snuggled up against me for some attention, they got into a playful mood. Diesel started to bounce along after Odin and they'd wrestle around. Silly pups!

Flax

It was a foggy morning today. As I pulled up, I saw Flax was wandering about the front yard. He walked up to my car and followed me inside. Boney was still sleeping on Flax's bed, by himself. I got them some fresh water and applied some ointment to Flax's cheek. When I came back out from putting the ointment back, Boney was laying upside down between my shoes. He swung his paws up in the air and tried to attack my toes as I tried to slip my shoes back on! Haha! He's such a cutie. I noticed Flax had wandered back outside again. This afternoon I saw that Boney was the one exploring, as I neared the house. Flax was on his bed, sound asleep. I touched him gently, and he woke up. He instantly decided he was going to head outside to explore. Eventually, he made his way to relax on his bed on the back porch, in the warm sun. Boney was following me around and being silly. We played with some sticks, then he was busy watching a flock of birds in the yard. This evening, the boys were snuggled together on the bed. Boney hopped up right away and helped me get dinner ready. He watched me open a can of food for him, but he waited until I started to open Flax's. He even stole a chunk out of the bowl to eat! Haha.

Gracie, Emma, Molly & the kitties

This morning I let miss Molly and Emma out when I arrived. Emma didn't want to stay out long, since it was cold and foggy out this morning. Henry and Smudge hopped up on the table by me to get some attention. Once the girls came in, I let Gracie out for her turn. Molly and Emma ate their breakfast, then danced around by me for some pets! Emma was in a funny mood this morning. She went over and grabbed a stuffed bunny toy and shook it all around. This afternoon it had gotten sunny and quite warm out. I let the older gals have plenty of time to play outside. Since it was so nice, I decided to let Gracie spend the afternoon outside. This evening, I let miss Gracie in and the other two out. Since Gracie didn't need a potty break, I decided we should take a short walk. When we got back, I kept her on her leash a little longer, so I could love on her! I pet her for awhile, and she even relaxed enough to lay next to me. When the girls came back in, I got them all their dinner before bed.

Flax

This morning the boys were all cozy on their bed when I walked in. I went in to feed Mr. Fish and get them some fresh water. Boney sat by the door until I got back. He was happy to get a fresh bowl of kibble and went to town on it. Flax was still lounging on his bed. I went to go pet him for awhile. Boney joined us when he was full, and played with cords on my jacket. I got Flax a treat for his Christmas morning. This afternoon I walked in and didn't see Flax or Boney. As soon as I turned around, Boney was right there by me. He followed me as I went to look for Flax. He was lounging in the grass in the backyard. It was another slightly warmer afternoon, which is perfect for him! I pet him for a minute, until he got up and wandered back to his bed. I got Flax another snack before I left. This evening the boys were snuggled on Flax's bed again. They both sat there, until I began to get their dinner ready. Then, Boney hopped up and came over. He wanted to eat Flax's food again. Silly kitty. When I took the bowl away, then he realized he had some canned kitty food waiting for him. The boys both worked on their dinners.
