Hudson, Zel & Gabbie

It was only in the 20's when I came by this morning. Brrrrr! The pups met me at the door and went out for their potty breaks. Needless to say, they were quick about it! They all danced around in the kitchen while I got breakfast ready. Hudson came over for his pets while he waited on the girls to finish. I let him out back after, but the girls weren't having it! They just looked at the open door and.... nope! We hung out inside while Hudson played. I could hear him having fun chatting with the neighbor dog. Haha. I made the girls go out for one last potty break before I left. They sure didn't want to put their toes on the cold ground! That made me laugh. It warmed up a little later today. I let the pups out and they did their thing. After dinner, we went out for a little bit. The girls stayed out longer than this morning, but still wanted to go back in after a short while. They sat and snuggled, taking turns grooming each other. Hudson had a blast playing out back until it was time to come in for bed.

Micah, Henry, Houston, Charlie, Smudge & Finn

Today I came in and Finn was first to greet me. Henry was right behind her. She followed me around this morning as usual, trying to check on everyone else. Smudge was in the same spot I left her in yesterday, lounging on the couch in the front room. Micah also was in his usual place, all cuddled up in blankets on the bed. Houston and Finn were messing around with each other as they waited for me at each stop. Finn was all about getting her share of attention! She hopped up next to me on anything she could. The cats have been having fun knocking over the ladder in the living room for the past couple days. Haha. After I finished filling their food and scooping their litter, it was time for Micah to eat. I went and got him and filled his dish. Finn was in a hurry to jump up there, and sent a bowl flying off the counter in the process! Haha. I think some paint flaked off the bowl, otherwise no harm done. But, that freaked Micah out, so even with some coaxing, he didn't stay long to eat today. I put most of his portion back and let Henry and Finn have a little bit of leftovers.

Sophie & Roxy

Today the girls were snoozing away when I arrived. It was a chilly start to the day, but would warm up some later on. The girls came in and waited in the kitchen while I filled their dishes. They followed me to the living room afterwards. Sophie wasted no time, hopped on the couch and plopped herself over my lap for some belly rubs. Roxy sat by us but wouldn't come up. She eventually went and lounged in her favorite chair. Soon, it was time to eat! After bellies were full, Roxy went to take a nap in her chair, and Sophie on the couch snuggled with me. She slept as she got her belly rubs. What a rough life! I got them a couple treats as they headed back outside for the day.

Micah, Henry, Houston, Charlie, Smudge & Finn

Today I came in and saw Finn and Henry scurrying around right away. Houston was sitting in his usual spot under the chair in the living room. Finn raced up to the counter to get her hello pets. She then followed me around to check on the others. Smudge was on the couch in the front room and Micah was lounging on the bed in the kid's room. I cleaned boxes and went around to turn faucets on. It's supposed to get cold overnight. Finn of course came along to help. Then, I went and got Micah so he could eat. I got him his food and he ate very well. Henry was right there to swoop in when he was finished. Finn and Houston had been busy wrestling around on the floor. Haha.

Hudson , Zel & Gabbie

This morning it was pretty chilly out again. The pups greeted me at the door and we headed to the back so they could go out. They quickly did their thing and came in to dance around while they waited for breakfast. Hudson sat and waited for the girls to finish. Then, it was time to head back out. Zel didn't want to even go back out again. The girls pottied quick and sat by the door to go inside. We did, and they sat with me for some attention. Gabbie curled up in her doggie bed and Zel went to curl up in her blankets. Hudson had fun exploring outside until it was time to head in. This evening the pups were ready for their potty breaks. They were also super excited to eat, as usual. Hudson was bouncing up and down at my feet. He waited by me and got some pets until the girls were done. Back outside, Gabbie went right back to the door and started crying. She wasn't having it! She and I went in and she snuggled up to me for some pets. A few minutes later, Zel and Hudson were at the door to come in too. I guess even Hudson was too chilly! He promptly went around to lick bowls. After that, he plopped down in front of me and enjoyed his pets the rest of the time. The girls curled up in their doggie bed next to me.

Today I came in and opened the back door. The girls both woke up and crawled out from their cozy house to come inside and see me. I filled their dishes and they followed me to the living room. Sophie got a few hello pets, then went right to eat. Roxy heard her crunching on kibbles and ran over to get some too. When they finished, the girls wandered into the living room to groom each other again. Then, that turned into playful wrestling around. Silly ladies! Later on, the took turns to come up and snuggle with me.

This morning was super chilly out! I came in and the pups greeted me at the door. I let them out back for their potty break. The girls were quick to do their business. Hudson came running along behind them and we got their breakfast. Hudson finished first and sat patiently watching Gabbie. He was a good boy though and didn't try to steal anyone's food. The girls didn't even want to go back outside since it was so cold. I let Hudson out and he went to go chat with his lab friend next door. I hung out with the girls inside and gave them attention while Hudson played outside. I had the girls go out for one last potty break before it was time to go. This evening the pups heard me pull up and were barking as I grabbed the mail. Haha. It had warmed up earlier today, but was very windy out. The pups went out before their dinners. Hudson played out back after they ate. The girls sat by me for their pets inside the cozy warm house. They went out again for another potty break before bed.

It was a chilly start to the day today, but it warmed up pretty nicely. I came in and the girls were napping in their house. They woke up and came inside to say hi. I filled their dishes and Sophie met me in the living room. Roxy sat in her chair as usual. Haha. Sophie got some pets, then hopped up next to me and threw herself over my lap. She laid there to get her belly rubs for awhile. Then, the girls both got up to go eat. Afterwards, they came back by me for some attention. The girls went and sat in the living room and started giving each other kisses. So cute! Then they stopped, because they saw I was watching. Haha! After that, Sophie curled up with me again and Roxy sat in her chair. They took a little snooze until it was time to head back out.

Today I walked in and saw all the orangies in the dining room! They all stopped to look at me like I interrupted their meeting. Haha. Houston was hiding out under the chair in the living room. Everyone decided to follow me around today as I checked for the other two. I found Smudge sitting on the desk in one room. Still haven't seen Charlie. He better show himself right away when his family comes home! Making me worry like that... stinker. Micah  got his food and ate well again today. Houston wasn't wrestling with Finn and keeping her occupied, so she kept me busy getting her off the counter. Haha. Everyone is doing well.

Murdy

Today Murdy was doing a big stretch as he got to the door to greet me. He followed along to the kitchen and told me his stories. He took his pill and worked on his food for a bit. Murdy ran ahead of me in the study to get his toy. He pranced and hopped along after the feather on our way out. He's so funny! We sat at our spot and he played a bit. He wasn't as interested in his toy today. Murdy was in a lovey mood and was all about getting his pets. He rubbed his head in my hands and purred away. He gave me plenty of snuggles! Murdy will be so happy to have mom and dad home to love on him all day. :)
