Oreo & Stuffy

This evening Oreo met me on my way to the kitchen. He commenced rolling around on the floor at my feet as soon as we got there! I got him some dinner, then took care of their things quick. As I was headed to our spot, I saw Stuffy had come down and was sitting on the stairs. He let out a little meow as I went to pet him. Oreo was waiting in the entryway for me and came running to meet me in the living room. He sat by me and purred away as he rubbed his chin in my hand. I heard Stuffs in the kitchen, taking his turn to eat. Eventually the boys switched spots. Stuffy came to visit me and Oreo went to eat some more. Oreo went back to his spot in the foyer when he was done.

Bella, Louie & Chico

This afternoon I let all the pups out of their beds. Chico sat in his for a little while and didn't want to come out. I'm guessing he had a snack in there that he was protecting! Once I opened a can of food for Louie, he came running. I got him outside with Bella, so that Louie could eat. He took several bites, then wandered off. I put the food up and let him out with the others. He made me a bit nervous, which is why I gave mom a call. When it was time to go I made sure and got him a small bowl of water to put in his bed with him. This evening Louie made me feel much better! He was far more active than he was earlier. I put him outside with his canned food again, and this time he scarfed it all down. He even ate some dry food too. Bella and Chico were busy doing their own thing. Bella wandered over now and again for attention, then she finally worked on dinner as well. Louie sat by me for quite awhile, then he roamed around again.

Sadie, Zoie & Cole

This evening the pups were quiet when I walked in. I let everyone out and we headed outside for awhile. Zoie brought out her bone, but then she was busy checking out the bushes. Sadie and Cole did their business, then those two were pretty much attached to me! They took turns pawing at my legs. "Pet me!" "No, pet ME!" Haha. Sadie would also get jealous if I was petting her and Cole at the same time. She wanted all my attention to herself! Later, we went in and I made sure they all had water. Zoie brought me her Frisbee to play tug with. Sadie just wanted her pets. Then Cole, well, he was busy being silly and hopping around, ready to play!

Rusty, Ruby & the kitties

This morning I got to meet Stephanie on her way out. She was very nice! I came in and the pups barked to let her know someone was there. Good guard dogs! Haha. We headed outside for a bit so Rusty and I could play some fetch. Ruby sat by me and enjoyed some back and heiny scratches. We took a break when Rusty was getting tired, so I could take care of the turtles and kitties. Rusty also got his morning meds. Salem was just finishing up her breakfast. She stopped for me to pet her, before she went to hide under the bed. Rusty and I got some more fetch time in before I left. This afternoon I let Ruby out, then we went outside for awhile. Lance came out and was busy checking things out around the fence. Rusty played a little fetch with me, then the pups went inside. I found them both sitting in the front room, looking out the window. I think they're waiting for mom and dad to come home! They'll be very excited to see them.

This morning Ruby came racing into the kitchen to see me. We headed outside right away. Rusty stopped by me for a few heiny scratches, before he wandered off. The pups spent awhile exploring. Ruby was full of the dickens this morning! While Rusty and I played some fetch, Ruby suddenly went on a running spree. She raced around, zooming from one side of the yard to the other, then back and forth several more times! Crazy girl. Haha. Later I headed in to take care of everyone. Salem sat and watched from the bed, while I got her some breakfast. Ruby came running in and thought she might try to sneak over to the food can. I knew what she was up to! As I was walking down the hall to leave, I saw Lance out of the corner of my eye. He was lounging on some clothes on the bed. He must have been comfy, because he didn't move an inch! This afternoon I let Ruby out, then the pups and I spent some time outside. Rusty brought me his ball occasionally, but he was having more fun sniffing around. Ruby explored a few minutes, then she went in to take a nap on the couch.

Sadi & Stormy

This morning the guy was at the house working on stuff. As soon as I got in, Stormy came out and was meowing at me, following me around. I got their breakfast ready. Sadi was sitting in by the food and water. She got her meds, then I set her down to eat while I took care of their other things. She was still chowing down when I finished, so I let her continue, while I worked on the floors.

This morning Stormy met me in the kitchen and was rubbing up against the cupboards. She would walk into the dining room to rub against some chairs, then would come back in the kitchen. She tagged along as I took their breakfast to their room. Miss Sadi was in the litter box when I walked in. I thought maybe she was going potty... but then I realized she was just sitting in there! Haha. I took the cover off to lift her out and she just meowed at me. She got her meds, then we headed to the living room for her pamper time. She and Stormy both sat with me the whole time. Stormy had a blast playing with her string again today! This evening Sadi was snuggled up and sleeping in her little bed. I woke her up for her evening meds and got her all cleaned up.

This morning Ruby ran outside to greet me at the gate. She ran in again with me to go wake up Rusty. He was lounging in his recliner. We headed out and Rusty was quick to bring me his ball. We played a long game of fetch since it was nice and cool out this morning. Ruby even stayed out the whole time with us, checking things out in the yard. Lance came out and wandered around a bit as well. Later, I went in to go feed the cats and turtles. Salem was sitting on the bed again when I walked in. This afternoon, I let Ruby out and she bounced her way to the back door. We headed out right away. Rusty laid in the grass a little, then had me tossing his red ball for him. Eventually, he was getting tired, so we went in. I made sure they had plenty of water. He retired to his recliner, while Ruby and Lance visited me on the couch. The pups decided they had to go outside and bark for awhile. Looked like the neighbor was out working on her yard. This evening the pups met me outside. They came in and both worked on their dinners. I fed everyone out in the pasture as well. Rusty and I played another game until he got tired. Lance made me laugh tonight, as he kept wandering out in the pasture and rolling in the grass. It seemed like he wanted them to play! They certainly were intrigued and kept following him curiously. Miss Ruby didn't feel like going in her bed for me when it was time. She kept running outside. I had to go out and catch her, then walked her inside. Stinker! Haha.

This morning the pups and I headed outside when I arrived. It was a little warmer this morning, but still a bit chilly. Ruby wandered around a few minutes and did her business, then she went in to relax. Rusty brought me his ball a few times for some fetch. Lance made me laugh this morning. He came out with us and heard the geese and ducks in the pond. He snuck over there to check it out. Later, I saw him climbing down from the tree! He was just into everything this morning! I got everyone some food and water, and made sure Rusty got his medicine. This afternoon Ruby was happy to get outside. She was bouncing around on the patio and tried to get Rusty to join in the excitement. It was nicer out this afternoon. Rusty and I played fetch for awhile and Ruby explored a bit. Lance was out wandering around too. Salem was lounging on the bed and let me say hi when I checked all the water dishes again.

Sadi & Stormy

This morning Stormy met me in the kitchen. She was quite talkative today! She kept meowing at me while I got their food together. Sadi was sitting in their room, ready to eat. I got her some medicine, cleaned her up and set her by the food while I changed out their other things. She wasn't too interested at that time, so we headed right to our spot. Sadi and Stormy both purred away loudly! Stormy was loving up some chin scratches while I brushed Sadi. Then suddenly, she was in play mode and plopped to the floor to start swatting at my fingers. I got down her string and had her chasing that all over. She would sit behind a leg of the table and stick out a paw to try and sneakily get it! Haha. This evening it was Stormy who was snoozing in the kitty bed. She popped her head up and gave me her little "mmrow" when she heard me. Sadi was in the other room, getting a drink. She had gotten quite a bit of stuff up tonight. I cleaned her little nosey off, so she must have felt much better. She got her evening meds, then I put her back in her spot.
