Sadi & Stormy

This evening the girls were both snuggled up in their chair. I could hear poor little stuffy Sadi. Both her nostrils were pretty plugged up. I got her cleaned up, then gave her her antibiotic and eye ointment. I gave her the nose drops to help with what I couldnt get out. She started to sneeze not long after, so hopefully she'll get more of that goop out. I put her by the food, but she just turned and walked out. It looks like they ate and drank well so far. We'll see how she's doing tomorrow.

Bradford, Heighty & the gang

This morning I got to the house and Bradford greeted me at the garage. Little booger! I took him through the house back to the yard. I took a look at the fence and saw how he got out. They had moved one of the boards somehow. I kicked the board back into place and tried to pull on it. I couldn't get it to move, so hopefully they won't be able to anymore either! I went out front and shoved a broken plank across the area, then turned the garbage can sideways, so it sat a little tighter to the fence. Hopefully they'll all be in the yard when mom and dad get home! When I finished messing with that, I went in and got Moody some breakfast. I brought the pups some food next. They each took turns coming over to say hi. Heighty found her ball for me, so we tossed that around a bit.

Mia

This morning I saw Mia get up and walk to the door. She started getting all excited as soon as I walked in. She was dancing around, then rolled over on my feet for her belly rub. She bounced her way over to the fireplace, almost wiping out on the way! I got her hooked up and we went for a nice walk this morning. It was so nice out! When we got home I started getting her breakfast ready. She howled at me to let her outside. So, I let her out and continued. I brought her breakfast out, but she wasn't too interested at the time. She sprawled out on the patio and soaked up some sun. It'll be a nice day for her to spend outside today!

Butterscotch, Marmalade & Sweet Pea

This morning Butter was peeking out the window at me. I walked in and all three kitties were sitting by the door. I guess they were hungry! They all followed me to the kitchen. Butter was standing up against the cabinets, stretching for the counter. He got his medicine, then I got their food ready. I fed them their dry, then went to scoop boxes. Butter came over when I sat on the floor. Sweet Pea was the playful girl this morning. She was having a blast, chasing after the string. Marm didn't want to play, so he just went to sit in his chair. Sweet pea went to rub up against one of the drawers and knocked it over, scaring the crap out of all of us! Haha! Then, she was quite amused with it. You know how cats love their boxes. She climbed right in and Butter came to investigate as well. Sweet pea sat in her drawer and continued to paw at the string outside of it. Silly girl!

Oreo & Stuffs

Tonight I didn't see the boys when I walked in. It was dark, so I started flipping some lights on. Oreo was already in the kitchen waiting for me. He was flopping around and rubbing his face on my feet, while I got his yum yums ready. He nibbled, while I went to take care of their box. I saw Stuffs was sitting in the bedroom doorway, just watching. He was still sitting there when I finished! I went to the living room and Oreo was right on my heels. I could hear Stuffy in the kitchen, taking his turn to eat. Oreo loved up some chin scratches for awhile. Stuffy joined us later and sat close enough for me to pet him a bit too. I got out a couple toys and had Stuffs rolling around playing. Oreo wasn't too into that tonight. Later, I saw he was sitting and looking behind the tv stand again. Silly kitty!

Sophie & Roxy

It was storming outside when I arrived today. The girls were all curled up in their doggie house together, nice and dry. They came inside with me and got right to work on their food. They were pretty sleepy today. It's always a good nap day when it's raining out! They each picked a side to snuggle up to me on the couch. Once they got settled, both girls slowly fell asleep as I gently pet them. We took a break from their naps for a treat. Roxy went to hang out in the bedroom for a little while, but soon came back to join Sophie and I. When it was time, they headed back outside and enjoyed a bacon treat. They will be so happy to see mom and dad!!

Bradford, ZZ, Heighty & the gang

Tonight when I arrived, the neighbor met me in the driveway. She said she had just gotten done returning Bradford, who had escaped. She told me she tried to nail shut he area he got through. I thanked her and headed inside. Moody was sure craving some attention! He met me at the door and was meowing and chasing me around, wanting to be pet. I got him some food, thinking maybe he was hungry. Nope! Just wanted some love. I pet him for a bit, then took some food out to the pups. Everyone was there. I went to the fence and checked it over, to see if there was anything more I could do. It looked alright to me, after the neighbor had fixed it. I saw a piece of sign board that I stuck in there, just for good measure. We'll see how it is in the morning! I sat with everyone outside awhile, then stopped to visit Moody one more time before I left.

Butterscotch, Marmalade & Sweet Pea

Today Butter and Marm were right at the door when I got there. Butter was first to peek his cute face around the corner of the door as I opened it. The boys walked me to the kitchen. I saw Sweet Pea sitting in the living room. I got them their dinner snacks and picked up their other plates as they ate. Butter tried to sneak over to Marm's plate, but I thwarted his efforts! Once they finished, I got out their dry food, since Butter was sitting at the bowl, just wasting away! Haha! I scooped their boxes quick, then returned to the living room. Butter was waiting for me. Marm had curled up on his chair, and Sweet Pea beneath it. I got out their string and had all three playing. Marm was by far the most playful! We had fun with that awhile,  until they all lost interest.

Mia

This morning it was raining pretty good when I arrived. Mia was laying by the front door, and got up excitedly when she saw me. I told her we couldn't go for our walk since it was raining. I let her out and she quickly did her business. We then sat on the floor and she got a nice belly rub. We heard a loud crack of thunder, which made her scared. She started to whimper and wandered off to another room. Poor girlie! This afternoon the rain had let up and it was quite warm out. I got out her leash and we went for a nice long walk right away! She was very happy about that. When we got back home, we spent awhile sitting out on the back porch. The weather said there was still chances for scattered storms, so I decided to keep her in for the afternoon. This evening, miss Mia was at the front door and ready for me! As soon as I walked in, she rolled over. "First things first.... belly rub!" I got her leash and we went for another stroll around the neighborhood. Once we got back home, I got Mia some more dinner. I sat at the table and she went to work. She nearly licked the bowl clean. Good girl! We went outside for a few more minutes, so she could get one more potty break in for the night.

Lisa Lee

Today I saw a lump on the bed again, when I came in. I peeked under, and there was Lisa Lee. She started meowing excitedly at me and crawled her way out, as I held the blankets for her. She came out and started purring right away. She enjoyed herself some attention! Lisa Lee walked back and forth as I pet her, making sure I got both sides. I took a break to take care of her things quick. Then, we went right back to getting her attention time in.
