Murdy & Charlie

Today Charlie was on his way down the stairs to see me and Murdy was standing at the top. Charlie started talking away to me with his cute little meow. He followed me to their room and helped me get them some fresh food and water. He waited on the dryer while I scooped their box and meowed as I came back in by him. Haha. I grabbed one of their toys and made my way to the living room. Murdy was already sitting there waiting for me! He started to play a little bit, until Charlie came and got in his way. Murdy wandered down the hall to go check out my shoes. Charlie crouched down and did the heiny wiggle, as if he was going to race and pounce on his brother. But, he stayed put and rolled around by me instead. He played for a little while, then went to go snack on some food. Charlie joined him after a bit.

Sophie & Roxy

Today I spotted the girls lounging on the patio by the side of the house as I pulled up. They both got up and started to bark excitedly. They were both at the back door again when I got inside. I see they had some entertainment today! Some neighbors were having a pool party. The girls must have been tired from all the excitement. They came in and snuggled with me on the couch for awhile. After that, it was nap time! Roxy was sprawled out upside down in her chair. Sophie laid on the cool floor in the dining area. She eventually got up and ate her dinner. Roxy later nibbled, but went back to her nap. The girls got up and got their treats when it was time to head back out.

Sadie & Steve

This morning I came in and the girls were both dancing excitedly at the door. We went down the hall to get a leash. I got Steve hooked up and we headed outside. Sadie decided to wander past the leash outside to do her business, even though I was calling her. But, she came back to me as soon as she finished. She gave me that look... "What? I did what you wanted me to do!" Haha. We went inside and I got the pups their breakfast. I sat in the middle of the room while they each worked on their food. Steve kept trying to "bury" her food with her nose. Then she went ahead and ate. This afternoon, I took both girls out on a leash so Sadie couldn't wander away from me. She was always upset she couldn't see us anyways. Haha. We all walked around together while they did their business. We came back inside and the girls both snuggled up with me on the couch. Sadie was being silly and would paw at me, even though I was already petting her. This evening, I could hear little noses sniffing through the door. I opened it and the pups did their happy little dance while I got them leashed up. We went out and they did their business for me. Afterwards, we came in and hung out on the couch. They both enjoyed some pets as they lounged.

Sadie, Zoie & Cole

This morning I got all the pups up and started on their rounds for potty breaks. Sadie went out front for awhile and I took Cole out back. I got him to do his business for me, then we went inside. Zoie visited with me for a little bit until it was her turn to go out. Next, I got everyone their breakfast and medicine. This afternoon it was nice and sunny out. The grass had dried out quite a bit and it was so nice, that we all went out back. The pups did their business, then they all found a spot and lounged on the patio. Sadie didn't sit out in the sun long, before she had to move to the shade. We went in and I checked all their water bowls. Cole was ready to go hang out on the bed, so I lifted him up. This evening, Cole and Sadie met me at the door. I let everyone out for their evening potty breaks. We came inside after that and all hung out in the kitchen for a little while. Zoie showed me her bone. The other two were both pawing at me to get my attention. Soon, it was time for dinner and eventually they all got tucked in for the night.

Sadie, Zoie & Cole

Tonight Sadie and Cole met me at the door to say hi. Once I got the light on, Sadie was all excited! We said hi, then went to the kitchen to read notes quick. Next, Sadie went out front for awhile to have her potty break. It was a very nice evening! I took Cole out back and coaxed him out to the grass. Once he did his business, we came back inside. Sadie was just lounging on the patio, enjoying the beautiful evening air. When it was time, I let Zoie out for her turn. Sadie and Cole sat in front of me in the kitchen, both pawing at me for their pets. I got them all their dinner and refilled their water. Then, they all got tucked in for the night.

Sadie & Steve

This evening the pups were both right at the door to greet me. Sadie immediately started crying happily! Haha. I came in and got Steve hooked up, then we went outside so they could have their potty break. Sadie was very upset that I had to leave her line of sight to let Steve do her thing. They both went potty for me, then we went in to visit. Sadie was groaning while she got her heiny scratches. She was making me laugh. I had her on one side, pawing me for pets. Steve sat on the other, getting her share of attention as well. I had to keep them on either side, since they seemed to either be really worked up in excitement, or were getting a little jealous! They were good though. Then, suddenly Sadie decided to run some laps down the hall! Haha. Crazy lady. I made sure they had plenty of water for the night and told them I'd be back to see them later.

Sophie & Roxy

Today the girls heard me pull up and were right at the gate to see me. I said hi as I was coming back from getting the mail. They were both waiting at the door for me by the time I got there! The girls came racing in and were excited to say hi. I got them their food, then we sat down to visit. They were happy for some pets! Sophie snuggled up to me and Roxy sat and pawed at me for more. Roxy eventually retired to her chair to lounge. Sophie went to go snack on some food, then came back for some belly rubs. Soon, it was time to head back outside and get their snacks.

Oscar

This afternoon Oscar was right at the door to greet me. He bounced along happily as we said hi and made our way to the back door. Oscar found a spot in the grass to lounge around awhile and watch the neighbors. His squirrel friend was out, running along the top of the fence. That had him running over to see what he was up to! We had to go in a few minutes early today, so I could get him all dried off. He was wet everywhere from laying in the grass! I grabbed one of his toys and we had some time to play a little tug of war inside.

Winston

This afternoon little Winston was waiting patiently for me. I let him out and got him ready to go. He led the way, making sure to go around the big patch of mud at the end of the concrete. Good boy! We wandered around all over the place today. It was actually pretty nice out! Winston had his little frolic in the tall grass, then sniffed around by the trees. We had a couple minutes to play when we got back home.

Sadi & Noell

This morning Noell was standing by the hall waiting for me. She brushed up against my legs as we walked to her room. She was a crazy lady this morning, zooming all over the house! Sadi was awake, so I borrowed her to give her meds. Noell raced me to the kitchen when it was time to get their food. Then, she barreled past me when I went to take it to their spot. Haha! I didn't even have to try and help Sadi find her food this morning. She did it all on her own and ate very well. Noell visited with me for a few minutes while we waited. Then, she wandered off. Sadi enjoyed her chin rubs when she finished eating. When I stepped out of the bathroom, I saw Noell sprawled out on the floor, playing with her fish toy. She saw me, then raced to the living room. She was ready for her turn to play! This evening, Noell was ready to eat. She followed me everywhere and gobbled down her food right away. I tried to get Sadi to eat, but she wasn't too interested. I kept trying. She would dip her face down into the bowl to sniff, then would walk away. I tried for awhile, with no success. Hopefully once mom is home she'll eat her dinner.
