Oreo & Stuffs

Today I came in and Oreo met me in the entryway to the living room. He led me to the kitchen, where he watched me get his yummy snack ready. I found Stuffs lounging in his closet kitty bed again today. Just in case he wouldn't want to get up again, I stopped to give him some attention right away. He enjoyed his pets and chin scratches. After that, I found Oreo was waiting for me at our spot. He laid next to me and enjoyed his attention as well. He rubbed his face in my hand to make sure I got all his itchy chin spots! After all that attention time, he worked up an appetite and had to go snack.

Gracie, Molly, Emma & the kitties

This morning I walked in and went to the counter to read mom's note. Since I had my back turned, I heard a grrr behind me from Gracie. The second I turned around to look at her, she instantly started scrambling, running towards me. "Oh, it's you!" She got all crazy excited right away. Haha! I let her out potty quick, then went to let the others out. Molly was laying on her pillow in the corner. To my surprise, she even got right up to go out. The two older gals got to spend some time out back. Meanwhile, Gracie, Micah, Henry and Charlie all came to greet me and get some attention. Gracie and I played with her pink squeaky dog toy for a bit until it was her turn to go back out potty again. This afternoon, Gracie met me at the door and was bouncing around happily. I let her out for a quick break, then it was Molly and Emma's turn. Gracie sat with me and got some pets. She kept running underneath my legs while I sat on the bench. Silly lady. When the girls were ready, I let Gracie spend some time out back as well. Molly went and laid on her blankies in the bedroom and Emma came to visit me for a bit. So far, Gracie hasn't torn anything up or gotten anything out that wasn't hers. ;) So far, so good! This evening, Gracie peeked around the corner to see who was here. Then, she raced over to me. I think she has just a little too much fun racing in place on the slippery floor! Haha! Gracie went out back while I I got dinner ready. Emma was watching me closely. I guess she was hungry! The older gals got their pills and then I gave them all their food. Molly wasn't too hungry tonight. She and Emma went out back for awhile when it was their turn. Smudge was being silly tonight, batting a ball around by the front door. When it was time, I tucked the pups in bed for the night with a bedtime cookie.

Pokey

This morning Pokey was laying on his chair facing the door. He rolled over for some morning belly rubs before we headed outside. Pokey's neighbor friends were out there this morning too. So, he would wander over to the fence to say hi to them. When they were busy running and barking at other neighbor dogs, Pokey would bounce over to the fence and chime in as well. He wanted to join in the fun! Around lunch time, Pokey was hanging out on the couch in the piano room. He sat up when I walked in, ran to me and rolled over for his tummy rubs. I let him outside and he had fun exploring for awhile. He stayed out awhile this afternoon since it was pretty comfortable out there. He had fun chasing after a flock of birds the hand landed below one of the trees. When we went back in, I got Pokey all excited to play with his little raccoon toy. We had fun chasing around. He would grab the toy and run all around the house! Haha. This afternoon Pokey was back on his chair, watching the front door to see who would arrive. After he got his tummy scratches, he went outside for a potty break. He didn't stay out there quite as long this time. But, he did his business and still got some exploring time in. When he got back inside, we snuggled up on his chair for a bit. After that, we had a short game of chasing around with his squeaky toy.

Bella & Chico

This morning I carried little Chico out of his bed and Bella ran to wait by the door for us. They went out for a little while to do their business. It was a bit drizzly out this morning, so they didn't stay out too long. Once they came in, they were both bouncing around me excitedly for some pets. Poor little Chico had to watch out, cause Bella was flailing legs like crazy! Haha. Those two had some fun playing in the living room this morning. They both would hunch down on their front legs in a playful pose. They'd stare each other down, then they'd zoom around the house. After some play time, they both took a break to snack on some breakfast. This afternoon they both zoomed out to head outside. It was actually somewhat warm out there, so the pups stayed out awhile. There were people out in the distance working on stuff, so that kept them occupied. After awhile, they came in and I got them each a lollipop rawhide. Chico hid under the chair to savor his. He sure liked that one. He even grrr-ed at me! "Paws off, this one's mine!" Haha. Bella took hers outside to work on. Chico only got part way done with his, so I put it up for him to work on another time. Miss Bella had no trace left of hers! This evening the pups raced to the door to head outside for their bedtime potty break. When they came in, they both worked on some dinner for me. Miss Bella was happy for some attention too! Chico would sneak in by me for some pets when Bella wasn't looking. Haha. When it was time, I got them tucked in their beds with a couple bedtime cookies.

Oreo & Stuffs

This evening I came in and Oreo met me in the kitchen after I called for him. He sat in the middle of the room and would offer up his little meows occasionally, as I got his dinner ready. When I finished taking care of their food and water, I took a peek in the bedroom to see if Stuffy was in there. I didn't see him on the bed or chair, so I went to see if he was in his closet. Yep! He looked up at me as I poked my head in. There you are! I said hi to him for a minute, then went back to the living room to visit Oreo. He was, of course, waiting patiently. We sat by the fire for awhile and he enjoyed his pets and chin scratches. He stayed with me just up until it was about time to go, then he decided to go snack on his food anyways. Stuffy must have been too comfy to get up today. I don't blame him. It's been cloudy weather outside, which makes me want a nap too! Haha.

Bella & Chico

This morning I let the pups out and got Chico all bundled up. His cute little jacket is almost a bit too small to velcro around his belly. Must be all those yummy treats! Haha. They went out and did their business. On her way out, miss Bella snagged Chico's rawhide that was leftover under the chair. She took that out and enjoyed that on the patio. They came in after awhile and Chico zoomed to his bed. Miss Bella worked on breakfast while I kept her company in the kitchen. This afternoon Bella and Chico went outside to play for awhile. They were busy zooming around out there and barking at noises. When they came in, Chico had some lunch. He was a crazy little man this afternoon! He was up on the furniture, racing laps back and forth from their room, and just zooming all over! Haha! Bella came and visited me for some pets. This evening, Chico actually came out on his own. The pups got to spend some time romping around out back. It was actually pretty nice out tonight, but it was just starting to sprinkle out there. Eventually, they came inside again. They both nibbled on some food. Chico was taking kibbles from the big bowl, so he was being a little sassy when Bella would go take a bite. Haha. When it was time, they headed to their room. They were quite excited to help me pick out their bones tonight! I bet you can't tell from Chico's photo... haha!

Panda, Phoebe & Boo

This morning the kiddos were ready to head outside. All three came out and promptly followed me to the back. While they were out doing their business, I took care of their things. I got them their breakfast and they all lined up in their beds to eat. Well, Phoebe ate anyways. The other two just watched me for a bit. Panda told me he had to go out again, so I let him do his thing. This afternoon it was time for another potty break. I opened all their doors, then Panda walked me to the back and Boo trotted along behind us. I didn't see Phoebe again, so I went back to check on her. She was just standing in her bed, patiently waiting for me to move her empty food bowl so she could come out. Oops! Sorry Phoebs! As soon as I did, she came out and we walked to the back. Such a good girl. The other two nibbled on their food just a little while we waited for her to return. I got them all a fresh bowl of water before I left.

Pokey

This morning Pokey gave me some loud barks when I walked in! Guess he wasn't expecting me. Haha! I knelt down and talked to him, then he came over and rolled on his back at my feet. He got some belly rubs, then we went outside. Pokey had fun roaming around out there for awhile. When he came in, he got some  pets and snuggled up in my lap. Soon, he was ready for a nap and curled up on his blankets. At lunch time, Pokey was sitting in his chair, watching the front door. He waited for me to say hi, then we went outside. He wandered around for awhile and explored along the fence line. When he was ready, he went to the door to go in. We sat in a chair for awhile and he enjoyed a few pets.

Hudson, Zel, Gabbie & Blackie

This morning the pups were all bouncing up and down when I walked in. Everyone was scrambling excitedly to the door to go out and take their potty break. When they came back in, I got them all their breakfast. This morning everyone finished off their food for me. We wandered back outside once they were done. It was a bit warmer out this morning, so the girls stayed out for quite awhile. All four were busy exploring at the far end of the yard. The girls eventually lined up at the door, so we went in. Gabbie snuggled on my lap for awhile and Zel went to burrow in her blanket in the bedroom. Blackie came to the door after awhile, ready to come in as well. Hudson was busy barking at something out there. Haha! Soon, it was time to come in and I tucked the little ones in their beds.

Bella & Chico

This afternoon I came in and got Chico out of his bed first. I let Miss Bella out next and she zoomed out to the door. They went outside for a little while. Both were very excited to say hi! They had some fun barking at noises, did some exploring, then eventually we headed inside. Bella showed me all their snacks! I got them each a couple and filled their peanut butter snacks up as well. This evening, the pups went out to do their business. Later, when they came in, I got them each a rawhide to work on. Chico crawled under the chair by the door to enjoy his. Bella laid by me and finished hers off in a pretty short amount of time! She got some pets while we sat inside. I had them go out again once before bedtime. Chico was busy trying to protect his bone that he left under the chair... even though Bella could care less. Haha!
