Sophie & Roxy

Today the girls got to come inside and cool off for a bit. It was a hot and sticky day out there. They must have been tired! Roxy hopped up by me to say hi, and Sophie stood at my feet for some pets. Shortly after, they both went and plopped down for a nap. Roxy was laying upside down in her chair and Sophie on the cool floor. I called for them, but neither budged an inch. Comfy girls! Haha. Sophie did eventually get up to come and snuggle with me for a bit. I got them some more water and some snacks when it was time to head back out.

Oreo & Stuffs

Today Oreo walked me to the kitchen to get his dinner. While he snacked, I took care of their things quick. I checked the bedroom to see if Stuffy was in there, but he wasn't. So, I headed to the living room. Oreo came running from the entry to join me. He laid down and enjoyed his pets. I heard Stuffy in the kitchen, snacking on some yums. When he was done, he wandered in by us. Stuffy came over and got some pets as well. I got out the laser light and had the boys chasing that for a few minutes. After that, they both wandered off to do other things. I guess they didn't need much attention today, maybe more tomorrow! Silly Oreo was sitting on my shoes again as I was heading out. Haha!

Sadi & Noell

This morning Noell came running in from the patio. She trotted along with me to their room. Sadi was up, so I picked her up and got her nosey cleaned, then gave her meds. Next, I got the girls their breakfast. I tried getting Sadi to eat for awhile, but she just wasn't interested. She'd dip her nose in there to sniff every time, then would turn and walk away. I ended up giving her appetite stimulant pill. Hopefully she'll eat later for me. Noell on the other hand, had no problems eating! She wolfed down her whole bowl. Sadi enjoyed a few pets, while Noell snuggled in my lap. Noell got some laser light time in as well before I left. This evening, Noell let me know she was ready for her dinner. Sadi was snoozing away in her bed, so I woke her up to clean her nose and give her eye drops. Noell sat and swatted at my legs playfully. Goofy lady! I saw Sadi had eaten quite a bit of food for me. I set her by her bowl tonight and she went right to work on it for me. Yay!

This evening I came in and Noell met me in the hall. She went in their room and started crunching on her kibble. I worked on getting Sadi to eat for me. It took awhile, but eventually she did. It also took a few tries. The first time she started to eat and only took a couple bites. But, the third time she began to eat, she got down a good amount. Noell was waiting in the bedroom for me to appear. Then, she helped me get her dinner ready.

This evening Oreo was in the dining room on his way to the front door when I came in. He led me to the kitchen and waited for his yums. While he worked on that, I took care of their other things. I went to our spot next. Oreo came running from the entryway. He laid next to me and rubbed his head on my ankle as I pet him. He was acting a little sassy today and would swat at my hand a little. I figured maybe he was in a more playful mood today. I got out a mouse toy, but he wasn't amused. Haha. Then, I got out the laser light. That got him racing all over the living room! He cracks me up. He had fun with that for awhile. Then, I went to go check what Stuffy was up to. He was lounging on the couch in the bedroom. I sat by him for awhile so he could get some attention as well. When I went to leave, I had a little laugh. Oreo was laying on top of my shoes! What a goofball. Haha!

Sophie & Roxy

Today I saw Roxy lounging in the sun on the patio as I pulled up. She ran to the gate and started to bark, then Sophie appeared and joined her. It was so beautiful outside today! I came out back to see the girls since it was so nice out. They both sat by me for their pets. After a little bit I went to get their food for them. Sophie snacked a little, then decided to relax and enjoy the day. Both girls sat at the edge of the patio and watched the neighborhood. Then, they'd come sit with me for some attention. Before I left, I got them each a treat.

Sadie, Zoie & Cole

This morning I came in and got Sadie and Cole up. Sadie went out front, while Cole and I went out back. We had more storms overnight, so the grass was still wet. Sadie lounged on the patio. I visited with Zoie and Cole in the kitchen awhile. Zoie wasn't leaving the safety of her bed while Cole was in there though. She needed to protect her food and toys! Haha. Soon it was her turn to go out. Sadie and Cole sat and pawed at me for their pets while we waited. The pups all got their morning meds and breakfast. This afternoon, everything was still wet out, so the girls went out front again. After Cole came in, he asked me to go up on the bed. I put him up there and he relaxed the rest of the time. Zoie and I got a little play time in the kitchen. Sadie got her pets and attention time while Zoie was out.

Sadie & Steve

This morning both pups heard me and were right at the door as soon as I opened it. They ran down the hall to wait for me by their leashes. I got them hooked up and we made our way outside. Both girls peed right away. Sadie seemed like she didn't want to go in the grass to get her paws wet. Haha! After that, we went in and they both ate well for breakfast. We sat and visited on the couch for a little while. Sadie snuggled up on one side, while Steve sat on the other. Eventually, Steve went to go sit and look out her window. Before I left, they went out for one more potty break.

This evening I came in and Oreo was right at the door to see me. He trotted along and led the way to the kitchen. Oreo meowed at me as I got his food ready. I went to go scoop their box and saw Stuffy was lounging on the bed. He was getting all cozy before the weather came in tonight I guess! I stopped to visit him first. Oreo was now sitting at the end of the living room, ready for me. He and I went to our spot and he plopped down next to me. Oreo laid there and enjoyed his pets and chin rubs the whole time!

Murdy & Charlie

Today Charlie was on his way down the stairs to see me and Murdy was standing at the top. Charlie started talking away to me with his cute little meow. He followed me to their room and helped me get them some fresh food and water. He waited on the dryer while I scooped their box and meowed as I came back in by him. Haha. I grabbed one of their toys and made my way to the living room. Murdy was already sitting there waiting for me! He started to play a little bit, until Charlie came and got in his way. Murdy wandered down the hall to go check out my shoes. Charlie crouched down and did the heiny wiggle, as if he was going to race and pounce on his brother. But, he stayed put and rolled around by me instead. He played for a little while, then went to go snack on some food. Charlie joined him after a bit.
