Frank & Susie

This afternoon Frank was lounging in his bed when I walked out, and Susie was on the patio. He hopped up right away and ran over to say hi. He followed me inside to get their dinner ready. I thought it was funny how he was sitting and waiting at his inside food dish! Haha. He came back out with me and worked on his food with Susie. I went in and got them some fresh water, along with some for the plants as well. When Frank was done, he sat in front of me for some pets. A big hawk was flying around outside today, so that caught his attention and kept him occupied a bit. Since he was busy barking and chasing after that, Susie snuck in some attention. Later, I got them their snacks. Frank went to lay in the grass to work on his, while Susie laid in the shade of that patio. They had a beautiful day outside today!

Katie & Sage

Today it had rained out during the morning hours. It stopped and the sun was out by the time I went to see the girls. They got all excited when they saw me. I turned off their misters since it was cooler out and would be tomorrow as well. Katie came out and got to run around for awhile. I cleaned her side and got her dinner ready. She had explored, then sprawled out on the grass for a bit. After she had some time to roam and got her eye taken care of, then she went back in to eat. Sage was more than ready for her turn! She kept trying to toss her Kong under the gate to the other side while I cleaned. Haha. She ran around while I took care of her stuff next. She couldn't decide if she wanted to come in by me or wait outside for me to play. Finally, it was time! She got a nice game of fetch in today before dinner.

Frank & Susie

Today I tried not to let Frank come inside with me when I got there. It had been raining all morning, so I wasn't sure if he had muddy tootsies! He met me at the door and followed me while I gathered their dishes. Miss Susie was hanging out in her bed. The sun was coming out while I was there and started drying things out. The pups ate their dinners, then Frankie wanted his attention. I tried to throw the ball around with him, but he would wander out and just look at it. "What do you want me to do with that?" Haha. Susie wandered over for a few pets, while Frank was exploring the yard. Frank made me laugh today. A bird flew overhead and he chased and barked at it. Silly boy. The kiddos got their snacks and went to their own spots to enjoy them.

Shadow

This morning Shadow met me at the door. He followed me to the pantry to get his treats out and he hopped up on one of the shelves. He sat right on his canned food, as if to tell me he was hungry. Haha! I got his food ready and he snacked a bit. He met me in our spot when we were both ready. Shadow was a little more antsy today. He sat in my lap for a little while to snuggle and get some pets. Then, he sat on the couch, later on the table next to it, then went to eat some more. When he came back, he plopped to the floor and started to swat around his green ball. After some play time, he was ready for more attention. He will be happy to have his people home again!

Frank & Susie

Today I walked out and didn't see anyone at first, but I heard a tail thumping! That was Susie wagging at me from her bed. Then, Frank came crawling out from under the patio! He came in and out with me every time to get their dinner, fresh water and water for the plants. Since he finished his food first, he came over and got some attention. After a little while he decided to go explore around the yard, so Susie took the opportunity to come get some one - on - one time with me. She snuggled up close to sit by me and got some pets. She's such a sweetie. Eventually, Frank came running back over and wanted more pets too! I got them both their snacks and topped off their water again before I left.

Katie & Sage

This evening the girls started barking when they saw me come in. I let Katie out first and she zoomed around the yard, then did her business. She roamed around while I cleaned up. Then, she came and sat for me to clean her eye up for her before it was time for dinner. Sage came out for her turn next. She was so excited! She raced around and made sure to get her Kong right away. She kept tossing it to me while I was cleaning out her side. I told her she had to wait just a couple more minutes, so she went to go visit the neighbor dogs. We got some fetch time in before it was her turn for dinner.

Rusty & Ruby

This afternoon I saw Rusty was lounging on the couch. He sat up just enough to see who came in. I let Ruby out, then they followed me outside. Ruby went right out and stretched out across the grass. She had fun rolling around, then relaxed awhile. Rusty did the exact same thing next to her, after she was done. Haha. Rusty wandered around for a bit after that, then headed in. Ruby was on her way to do the same, until I called for her, since she hadn't done her business. She peed, but then she kept laying down and rolling in the grass when I would tell her she needed to go potty. Finally, after a little bit she did. She went in, then I got them some fresh water as they lounged.

Shadow

This morning Shadow came strolling in the kitchen to see me. He followed me all over this morning. We went to the pantry to get out his treats, then he sat and waited for me to scoop his box. When we got to our spot, he climbed in my lap for awhile. He put his front paws on my shoulders and nuzzled his face on my chin. Such a sweetie. After a little bit, he went to snack. When he returned, he hopped up behind my head and sat on my shoulder, then groomed a bit. This evening I had Shadow's food ready before he got into the kitchen to see me. He brushed up against my leg to let me know he was there. I gave him a few pets, then he went to eat while I took care of the other things. I went and sat in the living room and he came to sit in my lap. He sat there almost the whole time tonight! Shadow just purred away while I pet him. When he had his fill of pets, he was ready to play! He rolled around on the floor and swatted at his feather toy.

Eddie & Butler

This afternoon the boys ran out right away after I let them out of their beds. Butler went out and laid in the grass awhile. Eddie was busy exploring along the fence. They took a break to run over and say hi to me, then went to lay on the patio. Butler went inside after awhile and would keep poking his head out the door to make sure he wasn't missing anything! Haha. Eddie would go in to get a drink and would share his slobbers with me. Silly boy. When it was time to go in, they were both good about going in their beds today.

Oscar

This afternoon I walked in and was surprised not to see my buddy at the door. I started calling for him, and didn't see him on the couch either. I was beginning to wonder if he was even home! By the time I got close to the back door I heard a scrambling noise and Oscar appeared! He must have been napping. Haha! We said hi, then headed outside. Oscar was wandering back and forth and all over the yard today, checking out noises. He went to the door when he was hot and ready to go inside. We spent awhile playing tug and wrestling around until it was time to go.
