Little Miranda and I played some fetch today. She loved how nice it was outside. She seemed so happy. Everytime I would throw a toy, she would run after it with such a huge smile on her face. When she wanted to relax, she came over and sat beside me. I gave her a big hug and lots of attention. She was all smiles the whole time.
This morning I got breakfast ready for both the dogs and cats. Zoey was last to finish, so miss Harley thought she could be sneaky and try to steal her food! I caught on too quick though and got her started playing some fetch. She and Wyatt had a blast chasing around with the kong toy again. Little Zoey enjoyed some more cuddle time in the chair with me. This afternoon Jack came out from hiding in the bushes just as I was about to close the front door. I let him in and he decided to go have a bite to eat. Tut came outside to visit with us this afternoon. He sat on the grill most of the time and watched the pups chasing around. The sun was shining, so all three dogs laid out and warmed themselves. I kept Harley entertained, kicking her soccer ball for her to fetch until she got tired with it! This evening Tut came in as I was letting the pooches outside. Little Zoey danced around and gave me kisses for a little bit. I asked Harley to go get her ball, then Wyatt quickly raced out to go grab the tennis ball to protect it from her! Anytime she got in the vicinity of it, he would quickly run to grab it. What a goofy boy! I had Harley busy anyways, chasing from one end of the yard to the other after her soccer ball.
The boys were right at the door when I arrived. They were both bouncing around in excitement, getting each other more and more riled up! I tried to keep them calm, as Buddy soon started coughing. It wasn't until they got their tatoes that they finally settled down! After dinner we all went outside for a little bit. It was a little cool out, so we didn't stay out too long. Inside Jimmy and I played a little fetch. Buddy hopped up by me and curled up on top of the pillows with his bone. Later, Jimmy snuggled up in my lap, giving me kisses. Everyone got a yummy bedtime snack before I left.
Blackie was happy to see me as usual this morning! He worked on his breakfast while I let the other three outside. Next it was their turn! Sparkles came to visit with me again while they were busy eating. She was super snuggly today! Hudson got jealous when he was done eating and tried to chase her away. He then claimed my lap for awhile. Zel worked on her bone for a few minutes, then she and Gabbie curled up on the couch together. Sparkles was nearby, watching for her chance to come by me again. She was able to while Hudson snuggled with the girls for a bit. He of course, noticed soon and chased her off again. I let Hudson outside again, and had to carry the girls out because they didn't want to go back into the cold! After they went potty for me again, I let the little shivering ladies back inside right away. Blackie kept running from one side of the house to the other! He wasn't sure what door I would come out of next, so he had to race to find out. He's such a sweetie pie. I went back out to get Hudson, and saw he was frozen in a pose at the other end of the yard. He was so focused on whatever he was looking at, that he wouldn't even look at me when I called for him! I had to go out and fetch him. He was looking at the neighbor "Blackie". While I was cleaning off his paws to go in, his Blackie was nudging his nose at my arm trying to get my attention!
This morning the kitties were dancing around my feet, ready to go outside. They ran outside while I was letting the pups out. Harley, Wyatt and Zoey got busy working on their breakfast while I cleaned up the yard a bit. Afterwards, Harley got some fetch time in. Wyatt had fun chasing her around again, as she played keep away with the kong toy. So, while they were keeping each other entertained, I spent some one on one time with Zoey. She curled up in the chair with me and snuggled up to keep warm. She gave me plenty of kisses in return for attention. This afternoon Tut hung around with us in the backyard while the pups played. Wyatt found the tennis ball and kept a close paw on that almost the whole time! Harley kept me busy kicking her soccer ball around for her. She made me laugh when she was kicking it around with her paws! Little Zoey spent some time laying out in the sun, then she curled up on her chair on the patio. As soon as I opened the door this evening, Jack jumped outside just before I closed it behind me. It definitely took me by surprise! I went over and let the puppies outside. Wyatt and Harley couldn't stop jumping up to say hello and give me hugs. They finally went and took care of their business. I played some soccer with Harley after that. Then I noticed Wyatt and Zoey were all cuddled up on the couch in the sunroom. I went in to join them and Harley wanted to steal all the attention. I sat with the three of them and got smothered with kisses. They seemed like they were about ready to go in, so we headed inside for a treat before bedtime. Once all the puppies were in their beds, Tut came out to see me.
Blackie's tail started going as soon as he saw me this morning. I pet him a little and got him his breakfast quick. Inside, I got the little ones out and let them out to potty. When we got in, they got to work on their breakfast too. Meanwhile, I saw Sparkles was sitting on the little shelf under the table. She came out and started rubbing up against the wall, wandering over for some attention. After the pups finished eating, they all huddled up on the couch together. It was chilly out this morning! Later we headed outside again for them to go potty once more. Blackie came running to spend a little time with me while they were busy. The girls soon were shivering at the gate, ready to come inside again. When I arrived this evening, Blackie ran upto me excitedly and said hello before I headed inside. I let Hudson out, then the girls. They all ran around the yard with so much energy. Blackie even decided to join me while I watched them. They lined up by the gate once they were done. The girls were even shivering a bit from the cold wind. I got them all back inside for dinner. It only took them a minute to gobble it all up. After that, it was play time. Zel started chewing on her favorite bone. Hudson and Gabbie wrestled all over the living room. After they calmed down a bit, Zel came over and wanted to snuggle, while the other two got jealous and joined. It was a puppy pile!
<p>This morning I let everyone out, then got their breakfast ready. Tut was following me around, ready to head outside with us. As soon as Harley finished her breakfast, she raced off to go fetch me her ball. I kicked that around for her a little bit. Then, while she played I worked on cleaning up the yard. Harley could barely wait for me to finish. Tut watched me too! This afternoon was pretty nice out again. Wyatt came over to snuggle up with me a bit. Then, while Harley was busy chasing her soccer ball, I threw the tennis ball for Wyatt too! They had fun chasing each other around awhile, when Harley decided that tennis ball was way more fun. She's so silly! So, Wyatt just laid on the ball and rolled around on it so she couldn't get it. Little Zoey came to visit with me awhile too this afternoon. She had to dodge the racing pups a couple times! When it was time, we headed inside and I got them each a snack. This evening both Tut and Jack were sitting next to each other in the driveway. Jack started lovingly rubbing up against the house when he saw me get out of the car. Both kitties ran with me to the front door to come in. Guess they sure don't like the cold! Harley and I played with her soccer ball for a little bit. Wyatt had fun chasing her around some too. Little Zoey was a bit chilly and stayed huddled up on the chair most of the time tonight. Everyone was all cozy in the warm house before I left for the night.
This evening Blackie came stretching his way out of his comfy bed to see me! I stopped to pet him a little before going in to see the others. I let the little ones outside to do their business quick. Blackie came running around the side of the house and was happy to keep me busy giving him attention! After they finished, we headed inside for dinner. It was a bit chilly out tonight, so we played inside when they had licked their bowls clean. I sat on the floor by Zel, who was busy gnawing on her bone. Gabbie came running over and jumped in my lap. Then Hudson hopped up on the couch and stood on my shoulders to sniff my hair! The pups all snuggled up with me for awhile. At one point, they had all huddled on the couch together. So cute! We all went out so they could go potty once more before bed. The girls did their thing and were right back at the gate, wanting to get out of the cold! I tucked them all in, then went to visit with Blackie once more.
This afternoon Bootsie stayed curled up in his little bed while the pups all raced out to see me. They zoomed out the back door and ran to the other side of the yard. Then, they all huddled at their favorite tree for awhile. I threw a squeaky toy for JR, but he didn't feel like bringing it back to me! He did play with it the rest of the time though, giving it a few squeaks whenever he'd think of it. At one point, everyone got excited and ran from one side of the front fence to the other, barking away. I went to see what they were so worked up about and couldn't see anything. Must have been a squirrel! Their neighbor friend out back came outside too, so they zoomed over and howled with each other for a little bit. Everyone took turns visiting with me today for some attention. When it was time, we headed in to see Bootsie and get their snacks.
Bert likes showing me a new toy every time I come! Today she had a white squeaky dog to bring outside with us. She did a little running around when she got out, scooping up different toys along the way. Biscuit sat and sniffed other dogs on me for a little bit. Then, I threw a ball and he raced to get it before Bert could! She preferred carrying around her little purple spider today anyways. I threw that for her a few times when she'd bring it over. I got them each a treat to enjoy while we were playing outside. Later, they both were having fun rolling around in the grass together.
