Zoey

This morning Zoey was already up and waiting at the door for me! She wiggled her heiny all the way to the back door. She quickly went potty, then did a little exploring since it was already so nice out. We headed back inside and I pet her for a couple minutes and gave her a few treats before I left!

Presley, Callie & Ziggy

This morning all the pups came to greet me when I came in. They headed outside to go potty before breakfast. When they came in they lined up, ready to eat! Presley wanted me to pet her a little before she ate. She walked over and nudged my hand with her nose! Callie was the first finished. I noticed this morning that she was limping, poor little girl! I will keep an eye on that. After they all were done, we headed back outside to play. Presley was bouncing around, then running up to me excitedly! She rolled around while Ziggy tackled her again. This afternoon was nice, warm and sunny out, so we played outside for most of our visit! Callie was putting more weight on her foot, so she must be feeling a little better. Presley ran around all over the place and even said hi to the neighbor dogs. Callie was busy sniffing around, so Presley had to come check it out once in awhile. Little Ziggy was doing his own thing, just trotting around. He's so cute! When everyone was starting to get hot, we headed inside so they could cool off and get a drink. This evening the pups all went out potty while I got their supper ready. Callie was walking around even better than this afternoon, but still limping a little. I think she'll be better tomorrow! After dinner they lined up for a treat. Callie kept standing on her back legs for hers! After supper we sat in the living room. Presley was rolling around next to me, getting her tummy scratched. Callie curled up in my lap, while Ziggy was trotting around the house. Eventually Ziggy curled up in a blanket by the chair. Presley would nudge my hand with her nose and paw at me if I stopped petting her! I fed the fishies and told the pups goodnight and see you in the morning!

Zoey

This morning I called sleepy little Zoey and she came out of the room to see me. It took her a second, then she recognized me and started wiggling her heiny! We went outside so she could go potty. After she finished her business, she came bouncing back over for me to pet her! This evening Zoey came to the door much quicker. She was so happy walking with me to the door that she wasn't paying attention and ran into the little dolly stroller! We went out and she ran around to do her thing, then came back to say hi. She kept crouching down on her front legs, ready to play! I told her to go get her toy, so she grabbed the purple squeaker, then was kicking around the tennis ball with her front legs at the same time. We played fetch a little, and she did some exploring too. Later we went inside and I sat next to her while she worked on her supper. We went back outside for a little while so she could explore. Later we came back in again and she laid on the floor to get a belly rub. She would take a little break to go grab a bite of food. I gave Zoey a treat and told her goodnight!

Sophie & Roxy

The girls barked hello while I checked the mail and did a little dance by the gate! I let them I'm and cleaned off their paws quick. I sat on the couch and shortly after had two puppies jumping all over my lap, giving me lots of kisses! I guess they were excited to see me! Sophie curled up on the couch next to me for awhile to get a belly rub while Roxy made herself comfortable in a chair. Whenever I called Roxy, she'd come over and join the pile! Later I got them each a treat! They both found a safe spot away from each other to enjoy it. Sophie finished, then came and tumbled herself over my lap. Roxy helped pin me while they gave me more kisses! I saw their laser light on the table, but I think we will wait a couple days before I bring that out, or that's all they will want to do! I caught Roxy looking up at the ceiling a few times looking for the red light!

Dakota & Benny

Kota seemed to still be feeling better this afternoon when I came for our walk. She ran to the front door and waited for me, singing her song! It was a very nice day for us to take a long walk. We had a visitor today. Some people were outside with their pup, having a garage sale. Their little dachshund saw us and ran across the street, right in front of a car! Scared me to death! Luckily they saw him and stopped, and the pup ran back home. Kota was busy watching the robins today, while Benny was saying hi to his friends. Since it was so nice out, there were more dogs outside! One of his friends wasn't out though, so he stopped to wait and see if he would come out. No luck, so we went on out way. Kota and Benny were pretty tired. Kota had lunch when we got back home while Benny crashed on the nice cool tile!

I'm pooped!

Presley, Callie & Ziggy

This afternoon I came in and Presley barked at me a couple times before running to her corner. I went in to see the little ones after reading the note. I opened the laundry room door and Ziggy and Callie decided to roam around the house. Surprisingly, Presley was the first to go outside, even with me standing there. She was sure to keep an eye on me though! The other two went outside later. Once Presley came back in she went right for her corner. I sat on the floor with a couple treats in hand. Callie had no problem snuggling up to me and even rolled around on the floor for a belly rub! Ziggy ran around and sniffed all over the house. Presley came up to me and took her treat out of my hand, then quickly went back to her bed and watched me. I put the little ones back in their room before I left. For my next visit, I let all three pups outside. The sun had come out, it had stopped raining and even warmed up a little, so we spent most of the time outside! Presley was running around the yard happily. Once in awhile she would zoom over to me, smell my hand then quick run off again. She was trying to look for something up in the trees and would stand up against them. Callie and Ziggy were also exploring. I sat on the cement, and you will never believe it! In no time, Presley was sitting right up against me, getting her back scratched. She would run off to see what Callie was sniffing at, but would come right back. She even gave me lots of kisses on my face! Later we headed inside for their supper. Presley was a little hesitant to eat hers, but I picked up a few kibbles, which she ate from my hand. Then finally she got to working on her dinner. Afterwards, we all sat in the living room and they got more attention. By the end of my second visit, Presley was actually pretty clingy to me! This evening I came in and let all the pups outside right away. Presley was galloping around the yard, then would come over and run a circle around me! She rolled over in the grass and Callie and Ziggy tackled her. They are so funny! We spent most of the time outside since they were having fun! We headed inside and I got them a couple treats, which they all lined up for. Next, I fed the fishies their dinner. Then we all sat in the living room and they all got back scratches! Callie curled up in my lap, with Ziggy on one side and Presley rolled over next to me for a tummy rub! I left the little ones out to roam and told them all goodnight.

Sugar, Buddy, Jimmy & Charlie

This afternoon I let the boys outside to go potty. Sugar ran right for her hiding spot, but eventually came out to join us. The boys ran around the yard for a little bit, searching for critters. Soon, they were ready to come back in to warm up. Jimmy snuggled up with me and Buddy worked on having some lunch. Buddy came over by us and started growling at Jimmy. Then, I heard Charlie in the background growling too! He and Buddy were going back and forth taking turns, it was hilarious! This evening everyone went outside quick and came right back in. The boys took their meds for me, and Sugar enjoyed her potato snack as well. Sugar bounced up and down afterwards, ready for a treat from the jar! Later, Sugar and Jimmy snuggled with me and gave me kisses. Buddy had some dinner, then when he finished the other two had their supper too. I gave them all a few treats and let them stay out to greet daddy later when he gets home!

Ginger, Scout, Tiger & Scotch

Scotch met me at the car today and meowed hello! I gave him a few scratches before heading in to see the pups. They were all at the window looking out at us. Everyone went outside to go potty right away. They said hello to the neighbor dog and ran around with him for a little bit. Soon, the pups were ready to come back inside to warm up. Tiger ran right for the treat cupboard! I opened the door and he helped me pick out a snack for them. After they finished, I gave Ginger her meds. I let Scotch into the garage to come warm up too! Scout came to snuggle up to me and get her back scratched. Tiger watched us and hinted that he was ready for more snacks. Ginger was busy rolling around in her bed! Everyone got a couple more treats before I had to go.

Dakota & Benny

This afternoon Benny did his usual zooming around until I got his leash on. Then he tugged at my socks, "Hurry up and get your shoes on, I'm ready to go!". We got our long walk in today. Kota and Benny were busy sniffing at everything, especially Kota! I had to keep calling her to come along. Benny had fun trying to run after cars that passed by us. When we got home they each had a drink and Kota went in her bed. Benny must have been hungry, because he was stealing kibbles out of Kota's bowl. I put his down before I left so he could have some lunch.

Sugar, Buddy, Jimmy & Charlie

This evening my little buddies both greeted me at the door. Sugar was hiding in her little cave as usual. I let the boys out potty quick. They both came in right away since it was raining. I went and laid on the floor by the bed to talk to little Miss Sugar. She scootched closer to me and let me pet her. Jimmy was helping me and decided to walk around on my back! He kept hopping down to lick my face or ear, then would curl up on my back. Silly boy! Sugar saw Jimmy messing around and crawled back under until dinner time. I got the boy's meds ready and sure enough, there she was bouncing in the kitchen! The boys ate their meds for me without any problems. Afterwards, Sugar was ready to go potty so they all went out again. Back inside, Buddy worked on eating his supper. He must be feeling better! Jimmy cuddled up on the couch with me until it was time for bed.
