Suzzie, Heiny, Boo, Quartz, Fudge, Fluffy & Kitty Cat

The girls were dancing excitedly at the fence as I pulled up. I said hi to them then went inside. There was no Kitty meowing at me today. She must have been off hunting. Boo was staring out at me ready for his attention, and of course his treats! Quartz saw me in the kitchen with Boo and decided to go wait for me in his usual spot. Chocolate and Fluffy were both snuggled up on the bed near each other. I pet them for a little bit after I made Quartz happy! After I filled Kitty's dishes and called for her again, I hung out with Suzzie and Heiny. I was talking to Suzzie to get her smiling and I heard a funny noise. She was doing it so much that her teeth started to chatter! It was the funniest thing! Boo was trying to climb in my lap while I was petting the girls. Then Heiny was trying to get him to clean her ears, so he just gave up and went out of the kitchen. He was right there following me as usual though when I went to shut the water off!

Heathcliff, Atticus, Ava & Chance

This evening, Heathcliff and Atticus met me at the door and welcomed me in! They followed me around, waiting for me to fill their bowls of food. Heathcliff stayed close by, while Atticus ran back and forth from the kitchen, the dining room and the living room! I could hear the other cats meowing in the bedroom, so I went to say hello to Ava and Chance! Ava came right up to me and rubbed against my legs and meowed! Chance was a little more curious and watched from a distance! I filled their food bowls and gave them fresh water, while Ava continued to meow and follow me around. I cleaned the litter boxes in the bedroom, then moved to the other boxes. As I opened the door, Heathcliff and Atticus ran off as if they got caught sneaking around the door! It was cute! Before I left, I gave each cat a little scratch and told them I would be back on Christmas Day!

Tyson and Morgan

Both Tyson and Morgan met me at the door tonight when I arrived! It was good to see both kitties again! Tyson made his way to the sink and jumped up, ready for me to turn on the water for a quick, fresh drink of water! Then he sat down and posed for me and gave his famous little meow! Morgan was running around the living room, sneaking around the couch and under the Christmas Tree! There were a few needle clumps around the house; they must have been looking for their presents! Morgan followed me as I brought the food into his room and he thanked me for the fresh food. I came back into the living room and Tyson jumped down and came over for a little love and attention. A few minutes later, Morgan joined us for some scratches! I told the boys to have a good night and I would see them tomorrow! Sweet dreams!

Prissy & Ally

When I arrived this morning, it took me a few minutes to find the girls! I found Ally and Prissy sitting so sweetly on the bench. I sat down next to them and Ally came off the bench and walked around, rubbing against my legs. Prissy remained on the bench, enjoying her comfy spot. We sat together for awhile, until Ally decided to head to the Christmas tree and sit under the beautiful tree like a perfect, little present! She even stayed so I could snap a picture; isn't she cute? Next, I found the litter box, scooped it clean and made sure they had fresh water and food. Prissy followed me in the room and thanked me with a gentle purr! I gave each girl a little scratch and told them Merry Christmas! See you girls soon!

Harvey & Fishy

This morning Harvey gave me a big hug when I let him out! He went outside to go potty quick, then it was back in to play! First I fed him his breakfast. While he was eating I fed Fishy too. Fishy will be happy to see his friends back home today! Harvey came running over when he was done so I asked him where his toys were. He sprang over to his stash like a little reindeer! He stuck his head in and came out with his snake! We played some tug of war and I had him chasing it in circles around me. He went to go get us a ball to play with too! He started rolling around with his toys and I got the funniest picture! It looks like the little snake is Harvey's face. I started scratching Harvey's heiny and he plopped over into my lap. He stretched his legs all the way out as far as he could so I could get his belly. After we were done playing, I cleaned his ears, then it was back to bed.

Harvey and Fishy

This morning Harvey came out of his room and stretched a few times before jumping around and running towards the door! Outside we went, into the cool, morning air! He went potty quick and then raced back to the door, ready for his morning breakfast. He was so hungry, he passed up his three toys on the way to his food dish; Harvey was hungry today! Before I emptied the cup, his little nose was already into his bowl. His bowl was empty in record time and on to his fresh water and ice cube treats! As he was eating, I fed Fishy a few yummy flakes of food. Fishy took a few nibbles, and then swam around the bowl and back up for more food! Harvey was now ready to play with his squeaky, Christmas snake! Back and forth he went, bringing me the toy and then chasing it down the living room. A few times, it fell behind the ottoman, so it took him a few seconds to find it, but he was sure happy when he did! We played for a little bit longer and then took one more lap around outside for a second potty break. Into his room, Harvey went and enjoyed a few treats! Have a great day; see you tonight!!

My last night with Harvey was a blast! As I opened up his gate, Harvey ran out, jumped up on me for some love and then ran around the living room! We spent a lot of time outside tonight, running around and enjoying the cool night’s air. He then ran up on the porch, so fast he almost slid into the door! Once inside, I think it took him three big leaps to get to his food bowl! Harvey ate his food so fast, I am not sure he even chewed! I think he is so excited because he knows his family will be home very soon! Fishy was swimming around the bowl, also ready for his friends to come back! We played tug-o-war and fetch with his Christmas ball and snake for the rest of the time! He played so hard with the snake that a squeaker and some stuffing flew out!! I gave Harvey a big hug and thanked him for a great time before he headed back into his room for the night! Happy Holidays!!

Flax

This morning Flax was sitting on the rug by the back door, ready to go outside! We went out and took a nice morning walk around the creek bed and pond. When we got back, Flax found a nice spot to lay in the grass by the patio while I went in and took care of his food and water. After I came back outside he moved to his little bed in the back and I sat next to him. He had me pet him for awhile as he enjoyed a few treats I brought out for him. Later, we headed back inside. I think it was a little too chilly out, even for him! He decided he wanted to stay in for the morning. This afternoon Flax was already out and curled up on his mattress. He said hi from his bed, but was too comfy to get up! After I put the mail inside I sat with him and gave him a tummy rub. I tried to get him to take a walk with me, but he was perfectly happy right where he was! I brought him out a few treats to snack on. After that, he was ready to take a walk with me. This evening Flax was snoozing out in the garage again. He barked when I turned the light on until he sat up and saw me. We went inside while I got his dinner ready. He wanted to go back outside after he finished. He rested his head on the little table by the door and gave me the biggest puppy dog eyes! "Pretty please can I go back outside?" He would've stayed out all night if I had let him!

Suzzie, Heiny, Boo, Quartz, Fluffy, Fudge & Kitty Cat

Today I saw the girls get up and start running to the fence as I pulled in the driveway. They met me with smiles and wagging tails! Kitty was in her spot too, meowing hello. Boo met me at the door and came to the kitchen for his treats. Chocolate was curled up on the guest bed today and let me pet her for a few minutes. Fluffy was snuggled with her little puppy dog and also let me pet her for awhile. Neither one attempted to go anywhere! Quartz was ready for his water as usual. The girls came in and were very excited for some attention! Suzzie curled up by my feet and pawed at me any time I'd stop. Heiny would squeeze herself in between us and give Suzzie a kiss to make it ok for her to steal the attention! I had my little helper as I cleaned the litter boxes today. He even was kind enough to sit on the counter and paw at my head that I was doing a good job! Haha! Later I went to feed Kitty but she wasn't there anymore. I called for her and went back inside since she didn't come. As I was leaving, there she was, crunching away on her food!

Flax

This afternoon I saw Flax was curled up on his mattress. He got up when he saw me pull in and came up to my car to say hi. He followed me into the house and hopped on the couch. I sat with him and pet him for a long time. He would sit up every now and again to listen to what the guys were doing. I rubbed his back, then he rolled off to his side just a bit so I could get his belly. He let out a big groan, "Yep that's the spot!". I tried to get him to go out and take a walk with me, but he was too comfortable! I got up to go get his treats before I left. He sat up and watched over the back of the couch to see what I was up to. This evening I came inside and found Flax snoozing away in the garage on his big bed! He hadn't heard me, but woke up when I called him and came inside. He went to his spot on the couch for another belly rub. He hopped down after awhile and leaned up against me. I fed him dinner which he worked on right away for me. Then he wanted to go potty one last time before bed. I placed his treats around the house again, and he was already picking them up before I left.

"Are you getting me my treats or what?"

Suzzie, Heiny, Boo, Quartz, Fudge, Fluffy & Kitty Cat

Today Kitty was perched on her table, waiting to be pet! I said hi to her for a few minutes before heading in by the others. I saw Fluffy hop down from a chair and zoom off down the hallway. Fudge was comfy on the back of the couch and let me pet her for a bit. Boo boo was an attention hog today! He came over and hopped up by Fudge trying to take over for her, then ran ahead of me to his treat spot. He was pawing at my legs as I was trying to get the bag open! Someone wanted their treats! He followed me down the hall and we found Fluffy had curled up by her Teddy on the bed. Quartz let out a little meow when he saw me coming. I pet both boys, then I let the girls inside while I fed Kitty and gave her some more attention. She was peering in the window at me and meowing for me to come outside! The girls were happy to come inside and get their lovin' too. Heiny made her rounds and gave me her back end to scratch while she tried to get Boo to clean her ears. He was too busy trying to climb in my lap. Quartzie was curled up on the guest bed again when I went to turn his sink off.
