Coco

This morning I noticed Coco had eaten the majority of her food I left from last night. She had eaten a good amount of dry food too, so I topped off her bowl. I got her some new food this morning and she ate that pretty well. When she was finished, she decided to go into the bedroom for awhile. She looked out through the window, then crawled up behind the curtain! I guess she wanted to warm up a little in the nice sunshine. I took her out to come sit with me for awhile and she was so warm! This afternoon, I tried a little something different with her food. I softened some of her hard food with water and added it to the canned. She seemed to like that and ate about half of it right away. She wandered into the back guest room and climbed into the closet for a bit! Tonight Coco was sleeping soundly in her usual spot in the office. I tried heating up her canned food a little before giving it to her and she seemed to like that even more. She stretched herself out on the chair and started getting very talkative again! She meowed back and forth with me, then made her way to the bedroom. I sat on the couch with her for awhile and pet her.

Maggie & Moe

This morning the girls met me at the front door before we went outside to go potty. Maggie and I played frisbee for awhile and she had a blast! She wasn't always the greatest at bringing it back to me though... haha! Moe chased after the ball I threw a couple times too, but she was ready to go back inside shortly after. Later, I had Maggie chasing all over the yard to try and catch some bubbles! She was jumping up and popping them. We headed back inside so I could give Miss Moe her medication and see if she would eat a little for me. She took her meds with no problems. She sure has lost some weight since I've last seen her, poor girl. She nibbled on her food while I sat in the kitchen with her. She did pretty good! This afternoon it was so nice out, so the girls and I decided to take a nice walk! Moe had some formed, but pretty soft stool. While we were waiting for Maggie to go potty, a bunny zoomed right past us! Moe ran to the end of her leash and stared it down until we got back on our way. When we got home I had Maggie go out in the backyard while Moe ate her special food. She made a pretty good dent in that too.

Jazzper

Jazzper met me at the gate this afternoon with a big, wagging tail! She was so excited to see me, it was cute! A fresh bowl of water and some food and then it was time to lounge in the sun! She enjoyed a brush, while we enjoyed the beautiful afternoon weather. Jazzper then walked around the fence and said "hello" to the neighborhood furry friends. It was then time to lay back down and get some scratches! She finally got too hot and went to lay down in the cool shade and posed for a great picture! Isn't she so cute?!?!

Jazzper

Friday afternoon, Jazzper met me with a few barks that quickly turned into a wagging tail! She enjoyed a few scratches and then it was off to lay in the shade. A few minutes later she came back and enjoyed some brushing! Then something caught her eye in the sand box! Man, did she have a fun time pushing the sand around, trying to find whatever it was! Eventually she gave up and came back to enjoy the afternoon sun! We laid in the grass and listened to the calming wind chimes. It was time for me to go, but not before some more scratches! Coco

This afternoon Coco was snoozing soundly in her usual spot. I got her some new food and she only nibbled on it for me. I picked her up and sat her in my lap. She wasn't too thrilled about that! She hopped down and wandered into the bedroom. She looked out the window for a minute and decided to curl up on the couch. I sat with her for a long time and pet her. As she started to lean her chin into my hand, I think she started to feel like, "Hey, maybe this isn't so bad!". As I was leaving she was finding a comfy spot to lay in the sunshine. Tonight I noticed Coco had eaten a bunch after I left. She cleaned off half the plate. I got her some more food and she just started chowing down! She made a good dent in this one too, then decided she'd had enough. I pet her for a bit, then tried again and she ate some more for me. I guess she made more room! She hopped down and went into the bedroom again. This time she put her front paws up on the bed and peeked over the top. She went up there and started meowing. I think she misses someone... :( She did some more wandering around the house, with me following and both of us calling back and forth to each other!

Bitty, Spirit, Angel, Baby and Shelby

Angel faithfully met me at the door this afternoon! She purred and rubbed up against my leg! I found Bitty sitting on the chair in the kitchen, a favorite spot for him! As you can see, the flash was a little too bright for him; but he looks cute even with his eyes closed! Shelby was extra lively today; she must know her family is on the way home! She was full of barks and energy as she roamed around in the back yard. She took a time out so I could take a cute picture of her; how cute is she?! Baby was enjoying a peaceful nap in the sun, so I didn't wake him; I just whispered goodbye! I said goodbye to the rest of the gang and gave each extra scratches. I enjoyed watching all 5 of you - thanks for the great time! Hope to see you again!

Bitty, Spirit, Angel, Baby and Shelby

Shelby and Angel met me at the door this morning with a big hello! Shelby was anxious to get outside, as the weather was beautiful. We played out in the yard and enjoyed the cool breeze! Angel was happy to see me come back inside and helped me fill her food dish! Baby was perched on his hind legs when I came in to say good morning! He did a few turns in his cage, as I opened the yogurt treat bag! Back in the living room, I found Spirit sitting sweetly by the fireplace. He posed for a great picture and after the flash went off, he came over to the camera to investigate; it was really cute! I said goodbye to the gang inside and gave Shelby a treat before I left.

Dakota & Benny

Benny was at the door when I came in today, doing his usual happy dance. Kota and Benny got to meet Meghan today too, and they just loved her up! Kota was talking to us while Benny showed her his blue ball. Later we discovered that he snuck it outside with us! Today was a beautiful day out, so we all went for a nice long walk! We saw a few other dogs out and about with their owners on our way through the neighborhood. On our way back, a small boxer puppy was running toward us, wanting to play. I helped the owner, who drove up shortly after in her car, try to catch her puppy! When all the excitement was over, we got back on our way. Kota and Benny both thought they were going to see the puppy again, so they were running along excitedly! Kota and Benny were both very tired when we got home. Kota had a little lunch before she laid in her cage to relax.

Bitty, Spirit, Angel, Baby and Shelby

Shelby and I enjoyed the beautiful evening sky as we sat in the back yard. We walked around in the cool grass as the new lawn was being watered. Finally, we went inside to say hello to the cats and the bunny. Spirit, Angel and Bitty greeted us as we entered inside! A change in litter, a shake of the food dish and a fresh bowl of water made all three happy; you could actually hear Angel purring! Baby was eating on some hay when we came in. I tried to get him to play with his toys, but he didn't seem interested, so back to his hay he went! As I was leaving, Shelby laid down in front of me, as if to say, "please pet me before you leave"! With such a sweet face, who could resist? A few belly scratches made her smile - see the picture, how cute!! See y'all tomorrow!

Bitty awoke from his nap to say hello to me as I arrived this afternoon. He wrapped around my legs a few times and enjoyed some back scratches before he returned to his spot on the couch! Shelby was sleeping on the cool cement, taking advantage of the beautiful weather. She got up to greet me and followed me around to turn on the sprinklers. We went inside to see how the other furry friends are doing. Angel said "hello" to us as we came back in; excited for some attention! Baby was sleeping, but did wake up for some scratches and a yogurt treat! It was time for me to go, so Shelby and I went back outside to turn off the sprinklers and fill up her water bowl.
