Today miss Khloe came running all the way to the gate to greet me! She was dancing around excitedly. Bruiser came out into the yard too to say hi. They raced me to the porch and sat there watching me. When they saw I was going to go inside, they quickly ran in. I let them out in the house since it was a little hot out today. They each got a yummy meaty bone to start with. They took them to the rug and sat with them for a minute, then gobbled them down. Bruiser went and sat on the bed again for awhile, and today Khloe joined him. She was being silly and started spinning in circles, chasing her tail! Then she'd crouch down and bark at me, "C'mon lets play!" She followed me into the living room for another snack. Bruiser came out and snuggled in the chair with me for awhile. He was busy smelling the other doggie scents on me! Khloe was just happy for her scratches. I noticed they hadn't eaten much since yesterday. Probably just miss mom and dad too much! I brought out their dish and sat on the floor with them, to try and give them some company. That still didn't work, so we made a game out of it! I made silly sounds and tossed a few kibbles here and there. Khloe just thought that was the coolest thing! She raced around and snatched them all up. She was ready to nibble some food on her own after I got her appetite going. Bruiser just sat with me and enjoyed his back rubs. I found some good itchy spots too, that had him turning his head sideways! They each got a couple more treats before I left. They both walked me outside to say goodbye.
