This afternoon Bootsie was sitting in the window sunning himself when I came to see the pups. They all raced out to wait at the back door. As soon as they got outside, they all gathered around one tree. Buck had come over for a quick back scratch, but then raced back to the tree. There must have been something interesting in there today! All four of them were staring up and barking, then dancing around the tree, circling it like sharks! I wandered over to get a closer look. Then, I saw Tizzy go running at, then up the side of the tree! She got up as high as maybe three times her height! I couldn't believe it. It was like something you'd see in a movie. Then, I noticed a little squirrel on the side of the tree. He was taunting the dogs! It would run down the tree to where it was definitely within their reach. As they would jump up at him, he'd quickly run back to just safely outside their reach. It kept doing this several times! That kept the pups busy for most of their time outside today. Tizzy got herself pretty tired, so she had to take a little splash in the water bucket to cool down. Eventually, we headed inside and they each got a treat and their peanut butter snacks.
