Sadie met me in the laundry room tonight. She knew who it was right away! She bounced along to the back door and went out for a potty break. I took care of my things quick. Chloe sat by the food bin to watch me get out precious kibbles from her stash. Haha. As I went to go clean the litter box, I saw Patches sitting on the arm of the couch. She leaned towards me, so I let her sniff at my hand a minute. Then, surprisingly, she rubbed her face on my hand! I gave her some chin scratches, until she'd had enough. When I finished cleaning their box, I went to sit outside with Sadie. The neighbors were having a backyard party, so she was all worked up about the voices she was hearing! Later, we went in and she ate dinner. Patches came over for more attention while Sadie was busy. I wonder what was up with her! Haha. After that, Sadie wanted lots of attention and belly rubs! She rolled over for me just like she used to. Chloe came over for some pets as well.

Hudson, Zel, Gabbie & Blackie
Blackie met me at the door this evening. The pups were all going crazy in their beds! I let them out and they all were racing for the back door, and hopping up and down at my legs to say hi on the way. The fence looks great! Much easier too. :) The kiddos went outside for a potty break before dinner. Blackie and Gabbie were both intrigued by the other animal smells they could detect on me! Haha. We headed in and everyone ate quick, then it was back out to play. Everyone was off in their own little corner, checking things out. Hudson was way at the far corner of the yard. Blackie returned after a little while and wanted some attention. When it was time, they all came racing inside.
Kaya, Kylie, Reese, Madison & Max
This evening I could hear the husky girls singing in the bathroom when they heard me come in. I let the little ones out, then got the big girls and we headed outside. Kaya and Kylie were very excited at first and kept trying to jump to say hi. Since it was their second time seeing me, it didn't take long before they ran off to do their thing. Once they all had a chance to potty, we headed in to get them their dinners. Kylie kept giving me her cute husky howl. Kaya would chime in now and again as well. I fed Madison in the pen and got Max and Reese rounded up on the bed. Of course, no one was really interested in eating at the moment! Well... except for Madison. They were all too excited with a new person being around. Max nibbled a little after a few minutes. I'm sure they'll all do better in the morning. Later, I got everyone back outside again for awhile. The big girls were pretty obsessed with the pool cover! That made me laugh. They would either be standing on it or lounging around. When Kylie was laying on it, Reese came up and was messing around with her a bit. Max hung around by me for awhile and wanted a few pets. Kaya and Kylie saw that and had to get some too! Miss Kylie is my little buddy already. When it was time, I got everyone tucked into their areas for bedtime and made sure they all had enough water.
Bella, Louie & Chico
This morning all but Chico, raced out of their beds. He hung back, then made a dash when the coast was clear. After I got Louie's food ready, he came inside and ate that up. It was a nice morning outside. Bella came to sit with me for awhile, so Chico worked on breakfast. Later, they swapped places. Louie was busy wandering around, then I think he went to lounge by the dog house. This afternoon Bella and Chico ran outside. It was pretty warm out by now. Those two were busy running around and checking things out. All three even had a race going as they chased each other around the yard. I had Louie come in when it was time, since it was supposed to get even hotter out today. This evening the kiddos headed outside for awhile. Louie came in while I tried to get him to eat. He wasn't too interested, so we did it the quick and easy way. Then, he went out to go do his thing. The pups were all busy exploring. They did some lounging around and Bella and Chico worked on their dinners as well.
Sadi & Stormy
This morning Stormy was out on her patio. She heard me come inside and came up to the door and meowed. I opened it and she came in, while I went to water plants. When I got back, she was back at the door meowing, but from the inside this time. Haha! I think she was a little confused as to what I was doing. I came in and got their breakfast ready, while she kept me company in the kitchen. Sadi was sitting on the floor by the food dishes. When I brought the new food in, she made her way out to the bathroom and sat just below her spot at the sink. Guess she was ready! She got her meds, then we headed to our spot. Stormy wasn't too interested in either of her kitty toys today, but she had a blast with the shoe string! She would race around after it and grab on. Sadi was content with her routine brushing session! This evening Sadi was curled up and snoozing away in her bed. I woke her up and she did a big stretch as I carried her to her spot. She had a big goober tonight! Haha. I cleaned her up and she sounded much better. After she got her medicine, I put her back to bed. Miss Stormy came to say hi as I was leaving too.

Rusty & Ruby
This afternoon I let Ruby out and she ran to the back door to wait. I went to the front room to get Rusty out of his chair. Haha. The pups and I all went outside. Miss Ruby did her thing right away, then she came to sit with me. Rusty laid out in the grass and rolled around next to his ball. He lounged around in the sun most of the time. I could tell it was hot out today, since he was panting just from laying out there. Ruby sat with me for some heiny scratches, then she laid in a shady spot on the patio until it was time to go inside.
Winston
Winston was all ready to go today! I let him out and hooked up his leash, then we headed outside. We got a nice walk in today. There was a bit of a breeze, so it wasn't too hot terribly hot out. He wandered around, checking everything out with his sniffer. Later, we headed back home. He went and grabbed his monster dude as soon as he was set free. I told him we'll let him live another day, then I found his rope toy. We played tug with that for awhile. Winston was cute and sprawled out on his belly, with his tiny cute little toes sticking out behind him. I couldn't help but tickle them! Haha. When it was time, he got a couple snacks and headed to his room. Such a good little man!
Oscar
This afternoon Oscar had his little nose waiting right at the door to see who was home. He stopped in front of me a couple times on our way out, so I would give him some chest and belly scratches! He was dancing around all happy. We headed outside and he plopped himself right down on the grass. He lounged around awhile and loved up the warm sunlight. The neighbors got home while we were out, then shortly after, their three pups came running outside. The two boxers raced to the fence to say hi to Oscar. It was pretty warm out again today, so I let Oscar just lounge around. When we went in, he got his sharky and we played tug for a few minutes. He did his tricks for me to get his snacks before it was time to go.
Eddie & Butler
Today I let Eddie out and he helped me get Butler. We headed outside and both boys were trying to climb on the table to say hi to me. I went back in to grab Butler's medicine. When I went to put that on, Eddie thought he better check it out! He sure made it a challenge today. Haha! Butler was a good boy and let me spray it on. The boys wandered around a bit, then Butler went back inside. Guess it was a little too warm out for him today. He came out a couple times, but did most of his lounging inside. Eddie sprawled out on the patio for a good while.
Sadi & Stormy
Today I came inside and Stormy started meowing at me instantly. She wandered into the kitchen to say hi. When we delivered their breakfast, we found Sadi was in there already, getting herself a drink. I waited to see if she would try to eat right away. Since she didn't, I got her her meds, then gave her a chance to eat while I cleaned up their things. She took a couple nibbles, then turned to head out. I took her to our spot, with Stormy following along behind us. Stormy plopped down just far enough away from me that I couldn't reach her. I got out her feather toy and she had fun playing with that today. Sadi purred while she got brushed, as usual. Later, I took her back by the food and she started to eat for me. This evening I found Sadi sleeping by the food dishes. I woke her up to give her her medicine. Her nose sounded good again today. When we were done, I put her in her comfy bed.
