Miranda was not excited to get outside today. It had rained and she did not like getting her little paws wet. She didn't even leave the concrete patio, so I went out on the grass and showed her it wasn't that bad. She stared at me for a bit, then slowly took two steps onto the grass, went to the bathroom, then quickly ran back to safety. She was so cute!
This morning I gave the pups their breakfast right away. They were so eager to eat, like usual. It only took a minute for them to chow down. Once they were done, they both followed me to the living room and joined me on the couch. Oliver squished next to me and May climbed up on my lap. They fell asleep on me while I was petting them. I even almost fell asleep myself, they were so warm! This afternoon I gave them both a treat for no reason. They took them and scuttled off to eat them up. They came back and Oliver climbed just his upper torso on the couch and started licking my face and making me laugh. May wanted to snuggle with me again. She would put her front paws up on the couch and paw at my hand like "Can I come up, please?" She was too cute. This evening, the pups pranced around me as I prepared their dinner. They raced me to the hallway and started chowing down. After that, they were being so goofy! Oliver was sitting beside me and kept sticking his nose in my hair, while May nearly flew onto my lap and started nudging my hand to pet her. They got excited for snuggle time.
Today the pups were right at the door to see me again. Bert was bouncing around excitedly! She ran and grabbed her big green spider-looking toy to bring out today. They both ran off to do their business quick. Bert was super snuggly today! She kept clinging to my lap, then would gently paw at me for attention. Biscuit would huddle in for his share too. It was cold and drizzly today, so we went inside after a bit to warm up. Both pups climbed in my lap and got lots of hugs! Later we went back outside and we played a little fetch. When it was time to go, they stared at me with big eyes in the kitchen, wanting a yummy snack!
I saw Baby's nose right away as I cracked open the door this afternoon. He got excited and danced a couple circles around me as I pet him. I let the other two out and we headed outside. It was pretty wet out yet, so Zeus was flinging mud around with his paws! He kept jumping up on top of the dog house to see me better. Baby and Zena did some roaming around the yard for awhile. Zeus would occasionally zoom to the other end of the yard to check things out too. When it was time, I got them out one by one to wipe their paws off before we headed inside. They all did a great job!
This afternoon I was greeted by three happy puppies! I tried not to get them riled up so Buddy wouldn't start coughing. They all went out potty. The boys were right back at the door wanting to come in. It was pretty dreary out today! Sugar, on the other hand, was loving it! She chilled on her pillow outside for awhile until she was ready to come in too. Buddy snuggled up with me for a bit while Jimmy played some fetch. This evening Buddy got a little worked up when I arrived and started coughing a little. He soon calmed down while I let the other two outside. I asked if he wanted to go out, then he did a silly hop and galloped his way over! After they ate their tatoes we headed back outside for awhile. It wasn't raining anymore and wasn't too chilly out. Buddy wandered over and kept pawing at my leg for some love. What a cutie pie! Inside, he did the same, wanting his bedtime cookie!
This morning after the pups had breakfast, they wanted nothing more than to go outside. We went out and I watched Oliver closely to make sure he didn't run around. He mainly just walked around the yard aimlessly. Then going to the side of the house to see if there was anyone to bark at. May was doing her usual, rolling in the grass! She cracked me up. This afternoon Oliver climbed on the couch with me and snuggled me. Everytime I would rub his side, he would put up his paws and roll over on his back like "More, please." He was too cute. May was on one of the chairs with us for awhile, but then she got up and went outside for a tad. Then a few minutes later we all headed outside. I played a little fetch with Oliver. It was so funny everytime I would pick up another toy to throw, he would charge me, and I would run. This evening, the pups seemed a bit tired again. I fed them, then they both went right back to sleep. May wandered off into a bedroom and Oliver climbed up on a chair. A couple minutes later, May joined us in the living room and she climbed up on my lap! It was the cutest thing! Then she layed her head on my shoulder and went to sleep.They were sleepy babies.
This afternoon Miranda met me in the hallway, she was stretching. She hopped up and down and ran to pick out a toy to bring outside. She found one but didn't take it outside, she just dropped it at the door. She was so silly! We went outside and she had two toys out there already. We played a little fetch and then a little keep away. She would charge me everytime she saw me walking toward one of her toys. It was so fun!
Both pups ran to the door and barked as I unlocked it. As soon as I cracked it open, the tails were going! We headed outside right away. It was just beautiful out, so we spent the whole time playing outside. Bert grabbed her purple spidey toy and brought it outside with us, prancing about. They both sat by me for a little bit for some attention. We played a little fetch with her toy until they wanted to do some exploring. Bert had fun rolling around in the grass! Biscuit did a big stretch and relaxed in the sun for a bit. When it was time, we headed back inside. They each worked on a treat while I refilled their water dish.
Little Buddy came to see me when I got in today. Then, he ran ahead of me to the bedroom to wait for the others to be let out! We all headed outside since it was nice out and the sun was shining. Buddy snuggled up with me for awhile. Jimmy and Sugar curled up in the grass. Jimmy had fun chasing with the pup next door, and even Sugar joined in for a couple laps! Buddy coughed two big coughs, but otherwise he did well. He did a little running around with Jimmy later on as well. Tonight all the pooches ran to the door to greet me. Buddy got a little too excited and started to cough a little. I let them all out to do their business while I got their meds ready. After they finished eating, we all went to sit outside for awhile. It was still pretty nice out yet. Jimmy sat in between my feet and Buddy stood up against my legs for attention. His cute little tail was wagging away! Sugar was busy wandering around the yard, exploring. We headed back inside after awhile so Buddy could get a drink of water. He was being silly and kept pawing at my leg. I knew what he wanted! I got everyone a cookie before bedtime.
Today I didn't see anyone at first when I came in. As I was filling Baxter's food bowl, I noticed he was curled up out in the yard, sunning himself. I let him continue to enjoy the warm sunshine while I got Bubba's food together next. As soon as Bubba heard the dry food hit the bowl, he appeared in the laundry room, ready to eat! He climbed up on the washer and enjoyed some pets before he began to chow down. I cleaned his box while he ate. Then, I went to go out by Baxter. He was already up and making his way to come see me. He came in and got a heiny scratch for a little bit. Then, he pranced around carrying his monkey toy! Later we sat in the kitchen while he worked on some of his dinner too. That silly Bubba began playing in his litterbox again! He's so funny! I gave Baxter a couple treats and Bubba a few chin scratches before I left.
