Sadi & Stormy

This morning the girls were in their same spots that I've been finding them. Stormy got up and did a stretch as she made her way across the bed to see me. Sadi was snoozing in her bed, nice and comfy. I woke her up and got her ready for her meds. She got all cleaned up and sounded pretty good this morning. The girls both worked on their breakfast for awhile. When Sadi was finished, I took her to the living room. Stormy followed along. Sadi sat and enjoyed her brushing today. I had Stormy busy chasing and playing with the shoe string, until she eventually wandered off. This evening Stormy was on the back of the recliner. She has a different spot every time! Sadi was sleeping again. I got her little nosey all cleaned up and gave her her evening pills. I set her by the food and water when we were finished, in case she wanted a drink.

Sadi & Stormy

This morning the girls were both sleeping when I got there. Stormy was up on the bed and Sadi had her little bed all to herself. I woke up my little stuffy lady to get her her medicine. I got her cleaned up, then placed her by the food. Both girls were busy eating for awhile. Sadi ate almost half the bowl in one sitting! Guess she was a hungry girl. I took her out to the living room when she was done. But, she was trying to roam too much, and wouldn't sit by me to brush her. So, I took her back after a little bit. This evening Stormy was perched on the back of the couch, as usual. She meowed at me as I went by. Sadi was sitting up in her bed, awake this time. I picked her up and I could hear she was pretty stuffed up. I was able to get a bunch out tonight, so she sounded a lot better when we were done!

Rusty, Ruby & the kitties

Today Rusty and Ruby both went outside when I arrived. I cleaned up Ruby 's bed, while they did their thing. Lance was busy trying to get my attention while I was doing that! Haha. The pups wandered back in and sat by me on the couch. I snuggled with Lance until he decided to go after my toes again. That got me on the hunt for his toy pretty quick! That goofy cat was chasing after the mouse toy, then would plop down and play with Rusty's red ball or the white one. Rusty and I went outside later and it was actually pretty nice out. I saw all the mud that Rusty could run through, so I decided we'd hold off on the fetch today. That's ok though, because he was too busy exploring to even bring me his ball.

Sadi & Stormy

This morning after I got their food ready, I took it into their room. Stormy was lounging on mom's bed, and Sadi was curled up in hers. Stormy was quite talkative this morning! She kept meowing at me, quite loudly. I got Sadi up and gave her the morning meds. She sounded pretty good after I got her cleaned up. I set her down by the food and she worked on eating, while I cleaned up their box. When she was done, I took her to the living room for some attention time. Stormy wandered out and sat nearby. Sadi sat and purred away, enjoying every minute. I found a shoe string lying by her brush, that I got Stormy playing with. She was going crazy! I had fun just watching her. Haha. Stormy would hop up and jump around it, sticking a paw on it. Then she would pick it up and toss it for herself. One time, she even hopped sideways and plopped down on the floor to lay and swat at the string. Goofy girl.

Rusty, Ruby & the kitties

Today Rusty met me in the kitchen, carrying his red ball. I let Ruby out and she ran around the house a bit, before going outside. Lance was hopping around ahead of me, ready to play. He kept trying to swat at my fingers. I got out his mouse toy and had him jumping all over the place trying to get it! Rusty and I headed outside for awhile. The sun felt nice and warm in the cool air. He was busy roaming around and chomping on some snow. He finally brought over his ball and we got a little fetch in. He didn't like the fact that when his ball would land, it would roll and collect some snow! Haha. He kept trying to pull off the snow before he'd pick it up and bring it back to me.

Gracie, Emma, Molly & the kitties

This morning Molly and Emma braved the cold and snow to go out and do their business. They quickly went, then were back at the door. Gracie went out, felt the icy cold air, then turned right around and tried to open the door! She wanted nothing to do with it. I let her back inside, then got the ladies their breakfast. Gracie polished off her bowl quickly, then was trying to sneak up behind Emma. I called her, then she came and was crawling under my legs for some attention. Henry and Smudge were out, trying to get my attention as well. I let the three pups each out for one more potty break. This afternoon, no one came to greet me when I walked in. They must have been napping! I walked around the corner into the dining room, then Gracie came running! The older gals went outside for a little bit. I picked up some things that the pups had pulled out and had been playing with. The girls came in, then Gracie went out for her turn. I saw Charlie and Micah for a little bit this time as well. Gracie was happy to get inside again, and have me petting her. She's so silly!

Rusty, Ruby & the kitties

This afternoon I came in and my buddy Rusty was snuggled on the couch. I let Ruby out and she took off running around the house. She disappeared down the hallway. I called for her, then she finally went outside. It was pretty cold out today! We decided to stay in and visit. Lance came and snuggled with me for a bit, then he hopped down. Suddenly, he got the urge to attack my feet! Haha. He kept coming after my toes and meowing. So he followed, while I tried to find his toy to play with instead. Rusty and Ruby snuggled up next to me, while I kept the silly kitty busy.

Sadi & Stormy

This morning I got breakfast together for the girls when I got in. I spotted Stormy curled up on the bed, sleeping soundly. When I brought their food in, I found miss Sadi, getting herself a drink. She seemed a little out of it this morning. I picked her up to give her her morning medicine. Sadi was a bit congested, but I cleared out what I could. I set her down by the food and she was a hungry girl! She went to work on eating. So, I cleaned out their box while I waited. Miss Stormy came in to get a bite to eat as well. This evening I saw Stormy sitting on the back of the couch in the dark. She gave me a meow when she saw I was looking at her. Sadi was all curled up and cozy in her little bed. She seemed better this evening, and not quite so stuffy. She took her medicine like a champ, then I set her by her food and water.

Sadi & Stormy

This evening I smiled when I walked into the bedroom and saw the girls. They were snoozing away, all snuggled in their kitty bed together, on this cold winter's eve. I felt bad that I had to wake them up! Sadi was nice and warm when I picked her up. I gave her her night time medicine. She decided to get a drink when she was done. I made sure they had plenty of food and water for the evening.

Gracie, Emma, Molly & the kitties

This morning I let the older gals outside right away. Then, I opened the kennel for Gracie. She sat in there a minute and looked at me, then slowly crawled over to me. Once I started to pet her, then she went into wiggly heiny mode! I got up to walk to the kitchen and she got all crazy excited. I think we're good now! I sat at the table and she kept crawling under my legs, wanting her attention. I left her for a minute to get breakfast ready. She took her potty break next, then it was time to eat. I had a few pupperoni on the table for after their meal, and Smudge kept trying to carry them away. Haha! The girls happily ate their treats before I left. This afternoon I walked in and Gracie was doing her happy wiggles. Molly and Emma went outside for awhile. Gracie sat with me, then Henry and Smudge were wandering around on the table. Gracie went outside for her turn. She didn't waste any time. It's cold out! Then, we went in the living room and I sat on the chair by the fireplace. Gracie was running back and forth under my legs, jumping up in the chair and sitting behind me, and being just silly girl! She hopped down and started playing with a teddy bear. Molly and Emma came by me for a few pets, which made Gracie come running back. This evening, bot Gracie and Emma were at the door, ready to see me. I let the older gals out first, then Gracie, before dinner. No one wanted to be out in the blizzard for very long! They came in and all ate their dinners. Henry was busy getting his head and chin rubbed while we waited. Molly got her medicine, and the ladies all got a bedtime snack. I had a good laugh tonight as I went back through my pictures from today... I didn't get a single good picture of Gracie, because she was always wiggling around and being silly! This one made me laugh!
