Sophie & Roxy

We had gotten some snow overnight! Today when I came, the girls were snuggled up in their cozy house. They came in and bounced circles around me. I got them some food quick, then we went to sit on the couch. The girls monkey piled on me and were squirming around, giving out kisses. They even were busy licking each other's faces. Sophie hopped down and went to eat, so Roxy went and joined her. Later, Roxy went and lounged on mom and dad's bed awhile. Sophie came in and sat on the floor at the foot of the bed, looking up at her sis. When she realized I was watching them, she came racing over to sit in my lap again! Roxy, of course, couldn't miss out on that. Haha! They snuggled up with me for a few minutes, then Roxy went to sit in her chair. I got the girls each a cookie, while I went to give them some water for outside.

This morning I opened the back door, expecting the ladies to run inside. Instead, I saw nothing. I went out there and called for them, then I heard them jingling around the corner. I guess they were at the gate looking for me too! They came in and were happy to see me. I got them some food and water, then we headed to our spot. Sophie was busy exploring for a bit, then she came and hopped up next to me. It was Roxy who was laying on her back in my lap today, being silly! They snuggled with me for awhile, then they both went to go eat their food. Once they were full, Sophie came and plopped herself on the rug, and Roxy on the bed. They needed to digest a bit! Later, they got a second wind and came up to visit me more before they headed back outside.

Oreo & Stuffs

This evening I walked into the kitchen and saw Oreo sitting in the bedroom doorway. He saw me, then came to meet me in the kitchen. I came to visit them a bit earlier today, but Oreo was ready to snack on his food anyways. I peeked in the bedroom to see if Stuffy was in there. He was lounging on the couch. Oreo came running into the living room to see me. He came and snuggled up to me, rubbing his head against me for awhile. Then, he wandered to his toy basket and he started itching his face on that. So, I got out his mouse toy. He rolled to his back and batted that around for awhile. He soon got bored with that, so I grabbed their laser light. He went crazy chasing after that! He was scooting along the floor, trying to grab that elusive red dot with either front paw. He sat by the fireplace for a minute, then did the butt wiggle and went to pounce on it! He's so funny.

This morning Molly was following me around excitedly, ready to go outside. She and Emma spent a little bit out there, while I got their breakfast together. Gracie went out quickly and got right down to business. When she came in, they all ate their food. I let Molly and Emma back out again to play awhile. I gave them a cookie to enjoy while they were out there. Gracie brought hers into the living room and quickly finished it off. She crawled under my legs and was happy for some attention. I got her another treat for her ball, and she worked on that awhile. When the girls came in, I let Gracie have some time out there as well. This afternoon I walked in and saw someone had gotten into some things. I worked on picking some stuff up, while Molly and Emma went out. Gracie sat with me in the living room again. Henry came and walked around on my lap as he got some pets. I went to see Micah, who gave me a meow as soon as he saw me. He was happy for some chin scratches. Gracie went to play outside for awhile this afternoon as well. Emma took her spot and was busy working on the ball chew toy. When Gracie came in, I gave her a treat and put her in her bed until mom and dad get home. I didn't want her to get into any more things and make herself sick or anything. She will be so happy to see everyone!!

Oreo & Stuffy

Today Oreo was sitting in the dining room, looking at the door. I guess he was expecting me! As I walked in, he followed along to the kitchen. We passed by Stuffy, who was sitting by the living room. Oreo sat and waited for his yums, which he started to work on right away. The boys both joined me at our spot, when I finished cleaning their box. Oreo sat by me for some attention, and Stuffs sat just out of my reach. Oreo eventually got up and went to snack again, so I scooted closer to Stuffs. He let me pet him a bit, before he wandered off to eat as well. Stuffy returned and made himself comfy on the footstool.

This morning I let the ladies out, while I got their breakfast ready. Gracie went out for a quick break, then they ate and all went out again. Molly and Emma were having fun with their other doggie friends at the fence. Henry came to love on me as I watched them. While we were sitting there, I saw Charlie wander into the bedroom. I got Gracie a new treat for her ball before I left. This afternoon they all went out for their potty breaks. Molly and Emma went first, and eventually were both lounging in the grass. While they were outside, I decided to take Gracie for a walk. The sun was out, but there was a strong wind that made it chilly out. So, we didn't get a real long one in. When we got back, I let the girls in and gave Gracie some time out. I went to go see Micah for a bit. He purred away! When I went back to the dining room, Charlie decided to pay me a visit. This evening Gracie took a quick break outside while I got their dinners. The other two spent awhile out there. Gracie followed me around while I cleaned out the kitty boxes. The girls came in to eat, then I had Gracie go out again for a couple minutes. I got the girls their snacks as they went to bed. Once I walked out of the room, the kitties started to gather for some attention. I saw a little black lump on the stairway. I slowly peeked around the corner and realized it was Sam! He was being a curious kitty. Henry and Smudge were playing on the stairs and Charlie had come over. Micah heard me and came running over, giving me a few meows. Charlie had now curled up on the table. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Sam peeking around the corner of the wall to check me out. When I looked, he would step back out of view. Then, he would slowly peek his head out again! It was so funny.

Today the girls were watching me by the gate. They raced to the back door to meet me. I let Sophie in first, to dry her feet off. Then I let Roxy in. Sophie sure made that difficult! Haha! She was trying to squeeze in to get some attention. I got the girls some food, while I went outside to fill their water and pull out ice chunks. When I came in, they hopped up on the couch with me. Sophie kept walking across my lap, to go from one side of the couch to the other, stopping mid-lap to sneak a kiss. She cracks me up! I got them each a cookie to snack on, then they decided they were hungry. Once they filled up, they came back to love on me some more!

This morning there was a light dusting of snow on the ground. I let the girls inside to warm up a bit. They had been snuggled in their house. I brought them a bunch of fresh water today and got them some food. The girls both hopped up on the couch with me. Sophie would lay across my lap on her back, with her feet dangling in the air. Then, Roxy would paw at me to pet her. They were up and down and up and down on the couch today. Roxy kept looking around for her lights too. The girls enjoyed a snack, before they snuggled some more.

This morning we had a dusting of snow on the ground. Gracie wasn't crazy about going outside, but she went out first for a quick potty break. While the other girls were out, I got breakfast ready for them. I got them all a yummy cookie to have with their food. When they finished, I let Molly and Emma out again, then Gracie. I cleaned up the extra litter pan today and put it away, since they were only making a big mess of it. This afternoon, Gracie was wiggling happily at the door to see me! Gracie went out quick, then the other two spent a long time in the yard. Gracie crawled under my legs and sat with me, while Henry curled up in my lap for some attention. I got Gracie another treat for her ball, so she was content snacking on that for awhile. Naughty Henry was trying to play with the Christmas tree this afternoon. I had to shoo him away from it! This evening, Gracie went out and did her business. She came in, then the other two went out. While they were busy, I cleaned out the litter boxes. Everyone ate their dinner quick, then I worked on picking up the shrapnel I found. I think it is a collaborative effort between the dogs and cats to find things to play with! I went to visit Micah in the bedroom. He was very happy to have some chin scratches. Henry hopped up there with him for a bit and they both got loved on. I sat with Gracie a bit too. She seems to get more and more excited and has more crazy wiggles every time I see her! As I went around turning lights off tonight, I saw Charlie sitting in the hallway. I stopped to pet him a little too. While I did that, Henry, Micah and Smudge all surrounded me for a few pets as well. I thought in my head that the only one I haven't seen yet, is Mr. Sam. I no more than thought that, and then I saw him emerge from the master bedroom and race upstairs!

We had gotten a light dusting of snow overnight. I let Carson and Cate out for their potty break when I arrived. Cate didn't want to stay out long in the cold! I let her in and got them some water, since their bucket was frozen over. Gracie took her meds and Sassy got her drops, then the girls went out for their turn. Gracie didn't even want to set foot outside this morning! Usually she goes out without me helping her, but today I had to encourage her a bit more. Once they came in, I let the other two out again, since they both had drank all their water.
