Toby, Tyson & Morgan

<p>This morning I headed in by Toby to give him his morning belly rub! He rolled over and enjoyed it for quite awhile. Then, it was time for breakfast! Once he finished off his food, we decided to go out for a morning walk. It was a little on the chilly side, but he didn't seem to mind. The kitties were both waiting by the door for us to return. This afternoon Toby got another long belly scratch before he came running out. After he got to play outside for a few minutes, he came in and we played fetch with his kitty. Morgan was in a playful mood again too. He chased after my hands as I moved them around on the carpet. I found a hair tie that I flung around for him a bit too. It was funny to see Morgan race after it! Tyson, was of course, content in his sink, drinking his water. He came and rolled around in the kitchen by me for some attention too.</p>

Piglet, Echo, Zephyr, Tony & Chickens

This morning Piglet curled up on her bed by the window and watched me. Echo came around the corner of the kitchen and stopped for a quick pet. She and Zephyr both hopped up by their food bowls and were dancing around excitedly for breakfast! They were moving so much I couldn't get a picture. Next I went outside to let Tony and the chickens out. He puffed up and was following me around. I pet him for a second while I spread their food. I went back in by Piglet and tried to get her to warm up to me a little, since she was being a bit shy. A couple treats helped! This evening Piglet was standing in the window, watching to see who was home. The kitties both came out to say hi and followed me around in the kitchen. I put Piglet's food in her bowl, then headed out to tuck the chickens in for the night. I wanted to take Piglet for a walk tonight, but the rain had started awhile before I got there. Everyone was inside the coop, snuggled up together on the highest perch. Tony was on the lower one. The little rooster came out of his house to see me as I gave him his portion of the snacks. Back inside I got Piglet leashed up and we headed outside so she could go potty. She no more than got off the patio, did her business right next to it, then was back under the shelter of the roof! Once we got back in, she started working on her dinner. I gave her a treat before I left.

Bella & Zoe

This morning when I arrived, Bella met me at the door excitedly. She wagged her tiny tail and gave me kisses. I went to see Zoe, whom was jumping all over the place and barking like crazy. She was so happy to get some company. Before I played with them, I let them outside. Neither of them had eaten much, but they still did their business for me. They ran back to the door when they were finished. We headed inside and they both got a treat. Zoe was all about running around and trying to get attention. She kept picking up bones and toys, then dropping them and grabbing something else. Bella was just demanding love and hugs the whole time. When I came by tonight, Bella met me at the door again. Zoe wasn't barking as much this time, recognizing me. They both went out for me again. We headed back inside and they got treats. This time, Bella wanted to sit and chew on a bone for a bit. Zoe immediately wanted the same bone. So they fought over it for awhile, until Bella gave up and went to eat. Zoe still hadn't eaten much, so I tried sitting with her to see if that was the problem. Sure enough, she started eating for me. After that, I let them out one more time before bed.

Toby, Tyson & Morgan

This morning sleepy Toby waited in bed for me to come scratch his belly! When he'd had enough, he ran to the kitchen for his breakfast. Tyson was patiently waiting on the counter for me to turn the sink on. While Toby went outside to go potty, Morgan came over for some pets. It was chilly and misty outside, so Toby and I played inside. This afternoon was still very chilly out and Toby didn't want to stay out long. Toby curled up on the couch with me for a bit to get a back scratch. Then, he went to the pantry door and cried and cried for a treat! Of course he got one, so then he thought it was a fun game! This evening both kitties were right at the door to say hi. I peeked in the bedroom and Toby came running. He scarfed down his food while Tyson hopped up on the counter for a drink. After Toby came in from going potty, we chased each other around the living room for a bit. Morgan was even a little spunky tonight and joined in the running around! He raced from one end of the house to the other, with his hair all poofed out and he was making a silly growly meow sound.

Tyler, Emma, Lacey & Luke

This afternoon I think the pups were surprised to see me instead of mom! Tyler ran over to the door and waited excitedly to go outside. He and Emma both bounced their way out of the garage into the yard. I got their lunch ready as Lacey watched me. Luke was curled up in his usual spot on the bed. The big dogs came back inside to eat quick, before heading back out for more playtime. Lacey was happy to have me to herself! She kept rolling around and scootching closer to me. She enjoyed a nice long tummy rub, then snuggled up on my lap for awhile. She hopped up and helped me bring the big pups back in when it was time.

Daisy, Prissy and Ally

This morning Prissy was laying on the chair by the front door again. She let me pet her for a little bit and stood up to say hi. Next, I went to visit with Ally. She was very lovey this morning! She was curled up on the couch so I sat next to her. She did a big stretch first. Then, she was rubbing her face all over my knee and hands. She even stood on her back legs to reach my hand. It was so cute! I made my way up to see Daisy. She helped me open her door today. She ran out and did her exploring around the hallway. Daisy sat by me to be pet for a few minutes. She then hopped over into her cardboard cave. After relaxing in her corner by the bed, Daisy hopped back into her cage to have a bite to eat. She explored some more, then was waiting right at my feet as I got her food out! After putting Daisy to bed, I visited with the kitties downstairs for a little bit again before I left.

Dakota & Benny

It was a beautiful, warm morning for us today. After I got there, we took a nice long walk since it was supposed to rain this afternoon. A lot of people were out already, and so were most of Benny's friends. They both were tired when we got home and both laid down to relax. This afternoon I let them both out in the backyard to go potty quick. The weather still hadn't shown up yet, so after a few minutes we decided to take another walk! I asked them first, and they both ran to the door to go in and get their leashes. A lady who was jogging with her retriever suddenly showed up as we passed a corner. Benny immediately got excited! After they had passed, he kept looking back for them. Later, we passed by them again! After our walk, I let them play in the backyard for a little bit. Kota kept sticking her head under the ramp to the shed. Then Benny was roaming around under the shed! He made a shrieking bark that I had never heard before. I went to see what they were up to and saw a tiny baby bunny run out! Luckily, the little one made it back home and I got them inside. This evening Kota and Benny got to run around in the backyard. Of course, they went to see if their little friend was still under the shed! Benny wasn't as interested tonight. He found a ball and was ready to head back inside. He and I played fetch for awhile. Later, Kota came in and had her dinner before bedtime.

Daisy, Prissy & Ally

This morning Ally was in her usual spot, curled up on a dining room chair. I scratched her chin for awhile, then she stood up so I could get her back. After visiting with Ally for awhile, I went to search for Prissy. She was sitting in the corner behind the couch. She didn't want too much attention today, so I made my way up to see Daisy. Today she came running out of her cage! She sat by me briefly and let me pet her. Then she went on her way, exploring! She nudged her way through the cracked door into the other bedroom. Daisy got bored with that and came back into her room. She hopped around in her tunnel, then came to sit by me. She crawled around behind her cage and in the corner at the end of the bed. Daisy did a lot of hopping around today. She took a break yo give her face a bath! When it was time to go, I grabbed her bag of food. She stood up on her hind legs at my feet to see what I was up to! She went right in again and got working on her food. I said goodbye to the kitties on my way out.

Daisy, Prissy & Ally

This morning I went to go visit Daisy and the kitties. Prissy was curled up on a bench in the front room. She popped her head up as I came in the door and said hello. I visited with her for a few minutes, then went to look for Ally. She was snuggled up on the couch. She did a big stretch then met me halfway! Se enjoyed a little back scratching for a bit before I headed up to see Daisy. Daisy stood up on her hind legs to sniff at me while I opened up her cage. She sat in there for quite awhile at first. I put a treat at the base of her cage to entice her to come down. Soon after, she made her way out to see me! She came up and smelled me while I pet her. Then, she did some roaming around. She hopped around in her little cardboard cave, then over to the hall, and finally under the bed. She curled up in the corner for awhile, taking a break from her exploration. When it was time to go, I filled her food bowl and gave her a couple treats. As soon as I grabbed her food bag, she ran to my feet, then into her cage. She didn't even wait for the treats!
