Sadi & Stormy

This morning Stormy wandered into the laundry room to say hi. She got her meds, then continued walking back and forth between the kitchen and the dining room, while I got food ready. She came in and ate again, while I looked around for Sadi. She was lounging out on the patio again, soaking up some sun. As we walked back inside, Stormy was already curled up on the living room floor, waiting patiently. Sadi got her meds next. She joined Stormy after we finished, and waited for her brushing to begin. Both girls sat with me for a bit. Stormy gave me lots of kisses. Eventually, she wandered off to go warm up in the sun by the window. Sadi happily stayed and got her one on one attention.

This morning Stormy was wandering around by the dining table, rubbing up against the chairs. She came in by me and gave me a meow. We had a little conversation going on today! Haha! I gave her her meds and she went away, but came back shortly after to rub on my legs again, while I got their food together. I asked her if she still loved me even after giving her her medicine and she said "meow". Then, I asked if she was a hungry little kitty and she said "meow" again. I guess meow means yes! Haha. She followed me and started eating while I looked for Sadi. She was lounging on the patio. She sat up and looked up at me when she heard me come in, then gave me a meow. After that, she laid back down. I guess she felt like being lazy today! I picked her up and we went to her station. Instead of eating, she wandered to the living room to wait to be pampered. As soon as I sat down, Stormy sat right up next to me. Both girls purred away and enjoyed their pets and brushings. I took Sadi in to eat before I left.

Ellie, Penny & Jake

All was quiet this morning when I arrived. As soon as I shut the gate, I heard the paws racing towards me! Jake and the girls said good morning as we headed to get them their breakfast. Ellie and Penny were pretty excited this morning, so they weren't quite as focused on eating. Eventually, they settled a bit and realized if they didn't eat, that Jake was going to steal it. They finished pretty quick and followed me around while I got them some fresh water. I grabbed a toy and threw it for them. Jake went and got the first one. Ellie got the rope toy that I tossed, and pranced around with it a bit, as the other two tried to steal it from her. They all lined up for some treats before it was time to go.

The pups all heard me pull up today and were all waiting for me. I got inside and they were bouncing around excitedly. I got them their breakfast right away. This time, everyone sat for me when I asked! Ellie was still super excited and kept running over to me, in between bites, for some attention. I got them some fresh water after everyone had finished eating. Then, we played some fetch! I grabbed one toy and Ellie went chasing after it. Meanwhile, Penny brought me a toy she had picked out to throw. Jake found a toy too, and was shaking it around. Silly boy! This evening I could hear the gang racing around the corner as I walked in. Ellie was just oozing with excitement! They were bouncing circles around me again to the patio. I got their dinner ready. Everyone sat for me again. Penny was a little distracted, even after giving her her dinner pets. I kept redirecting her to her bowl. Finally, they all finished their food. Ellie was busy drinking from the hose while I filled their water buckets. Penny kept dunking her front feet in the bucket to cool off. Jake leaned up against me and got some attention without the girls noticing. After the buckets were filled, we had some fun with the hose again. Ellie went and laid on the far end of the yard after awhile. She didnt know that I could still get her from there! I sprayed some big drops of water her way. That got her all riled up! She went chasing after it again. We had fun again today.

This evening I walked into the yard and all three pups came racing around the corner to say hi! They surrounded me to check me out for a minute, then we slowly made our way to the patio. I got all their dinners ready and asked them to sit for me. Jake plopped his little heiny down instantly. Good boy! Penny took a little coaxing, but Ellie just ignored me. She was waaaaayy too excited! She was busy standing against the table trying to get more attention. Maybe tomorrow she'll do better. Haha! They all chowed down on their dinners; Penny got to work on hers after I gave her her pets first. After they finished, I went to get the hose to get them some fresh water. The girls played in the bucket and chomped at the flow of water from the hose. They were having so much fun! Poor Jake kept his distance from the scary water! Ellie kept following the water around, so we played a bit after their buckets were filled. The girls had a blast getting soaked, jumping around and trying to catch the water. I got them all a treat before I left.

Taz & Clyde

This morning the boys went out for a quick potty break. Clyde was so excited, he didn't want to leave my sight, in case I'd leave without him. Silly boy! They came in and worked on their breakfast for me. I got them both hooked up afterwards. It was pretty nice out this morning, so we took a nice long walk down to the pond. The boys got excited when they saw a golden retriever and his human headed our way! This afternoon we went and sat out in the backyard. The boys seemed a little confused as to why I wasn't giving them their snack! Eventually, they both laid down by the pool to sunbathe a bit. There was a nice breeze out today, so it was very comfortable out in the shade. After they had enough sun, they relaxed on the shady patio.

Hudson, Zel, Gabbie, Blackie & Sparkles

Today Blackie did a great big stretch on his way out to see me. He said hi, then wandered off to explore the neighborhood a bit. I let the three little ones outside. It was very nice out this morning! Hudson was first to go out, and he spotted a frog in the grass right away. He raced over to check it out. By the time the girls came out, he was already off sniffing around at other stuff. Gabbie was next to go check out the frog. Zel made her rounds along the fence as usual. Hudson's husky pal jumped his fence again to go say hi to him. I brought the kiddos in when it was time for breakfast. Gabbie was first inside, so she peeked out the window at me while I wiped the paws of the other two. Soon we headed back out to play again and enjoy the nice morning.

Susie & Frank Fritz

Today Frank was right at the door to see me. Susie was lounging in her bed. I said hi to them both and grabbed their food dishes. Frank came inside with me to get them their dinner. Susie waited in her bed for me to return, and Frank hopped in his. They both worked on their food. Frank came and sat with me for some attention once he finished. I went in to get them some fresh water and a cool snack. They both sat nicely to get them! Frank had a hard time finding the perfect spot to relax and enjoy his snack. Susie was long done with hers when he finally laid down. She came over to me and got some attention while he was occupied. She wasn't quite able to do that yesterday! Later before I left, I got them one more snack for being so good. Frank gave me a laugh. Instead of eating his, he was trying to bury it! He dug a spot in the gravel, put it in and pushed the gravel over it with his nose. What a silly boy! When he saw I was watching, he quickly grabbed it back out and hid it in his mouth until he could bury it again without my watching him. Haha!

Mindy Lou & Chupie

This morning I saw the outside kitties had polished off the bowl of food I had left them last night. I took it in and went to see my little lady! She was snoozing in the bedroom again. As soon as I turned on the light, she woke up. I asked if she wanted to go, but she just stayed laying down. She put her head down and wagged her tail. She just wanted some love before we went! I sat with her and pet her a bit before we got on our way. We were able to take her full walk today. She enjoyed the cooler weather and was getting along much faster. This evening I went in and got things ready. I went to the bedroom to find Mindy. As I flicked on the light, she was already up and making her way to the doorway. She came outside with me and we went for our walk. It was pretty hot out again, but it was cloudy, so it didn't feel quite as bad. We were able to get her whole route in without me worrying. Her little sniffer was busy and she was stopping here and there to check things out. On our way back, she got ahead of me a ways. She stopped and turned around, then seemed surprised I was so far back. She stayed right there and waited for me to catch up! She greeted me with a happy wag of her tail, then we continued on. Miss Chupie was sitting in her corner when we got back. I peeked back there at her and she went into hiding. Mindy sat with me a couple minutes before I left, to get some love.

This morning the boys were up and ready to see me. They took a potty break before breakfast. Once Clyde finished, they happily followed me to the garage to get ready. We took a nice long walk around the neighborhood. It was slightly cooler this morning, compared to our walk last night. This afternoon the boys went out in the backyard to enjoy their dental snacks. Taz laid in the grass to work on his. After they finished, they were checking out areas by the fences. They kept getting excited any time they'd see a dog or person pass by. This evening I could already tell that Clyde was all excited for his walk! I let them take their potty break, then they came in for dinner. Both boys polished off their bowls before we headed out. We took a nice long walk this evening. It was actually pretty nice out, with a nice breeze. They got to spend a few more minutes in the backyard once we got home, while I refilled their water dishes.
