Dakota & Benny

Benny must have heard me pull in, because I could hear him before I even got to the door! I let them go potty quick before we went on our walk. Benny was carrying around a little ball since I got there and wanted to bring it with us on the walk! Dakota was ready to go and was pulling me like "c'mon let's go!" while I was trying to lock up. It was a nice day for a walk, a little chilly but the sun was nice and warm. I think everyone had their dogs outside today. We heard a lot more barking than last time. There were lots of people outside too, so Benny was growling and barking a lot! Kota found a little ball of tinfoil along the way that I had to try and get from her. We came up to a house where all kinds of birds were sitting on a truck and she saw them right away. She jumped up and they all started flying around, then she was determined to get them! She was pretty tired out by the time we got back.

Molly

This morning all the water on the porch from yesterday was frozen! I was worried about her slipping on it. Molly barely went in the grass to go potty again. I grabbed her brush and she got brushed inside this morning since it was so chilly out. She made herself comfy on her chair, laid her head in my lap and almost went to sleep while I brushed her. She was very snuggly this morning! Molly was very happy to see me this evening. After she ate her supper she went exploring in the yard for a little bit. We could hear some other dogs barking outside. We went in and played around some more after she got her ham treat!

Maggie & Moe

The girls didn't come to the door right away when I came in. I think it took a second, but then they realized who it was. They both came running and said hi. They're doing very well and didn't jump up so much this time. I let them out and Moe brought a little rawhide with her. The sun is nice and warm today even though it's a little chilly out. Moe set the rawhide down to go potty and Maggie zoomed over and took it! They chased each other around for quite awhile. Moe found a ball and carried it over by Maggie, as if to make her jealous. But it didn't work! There was no way she was giving it up. Moe started running back and forth between Maggie and I, getting some attention from me. Then she started running at me, crashing and rolling over on my feet for a few seconds, then running back to Maggie to try and get the bone! It was so funny! I had to brush all the grass off of her before we went in. Maggie didn't want to come in at first. She just sat with the bone in her mouth looking at us inside. After I gave Moe her treat then she decided she wanted to come in.

Molly

Today was a cold and rainy day here, with I think even a little bit of sleet at times. Overall, a really yucky day! When I got there this morning it had stopped raining for a little bit. After breakfast, Molly hopped up on her bed and got brushed. This time she laid down, usually she just sits for me. She must have been enjoying it! She would put her head down on my lap or rest her head against mine. Her brushing had to get cut short though, since it started raining pretty heavily. So we went in and she crawled into her little bed inside to warm up. This evening we had a blast! We were chasing around and playing fetch so hard that her chair was moving all over the place! We snuggled a little bit on the chairs and she got her massage before I left. She's very good at finding her treats that I leave all over. She missed only one a couple times, but usually finds it the next time.

Dakota & Benny

I could hear Benny getting all excited before I opened the door today. As soon as I saw Dakota around the corner she started in on it too! I let her out and they ran around like crazy for a minute till I let them out to go potty. Kota did her business really quick then was back at the door waiting to come in! I let them in one at a time and they were really good and let me wipe their paws. Then we went off for our walk. I brought along Benny's extra lead, but we didn't need it. He was walking very good for me the whole time! As we started Kota did her husky "woowoo" howl, I love that! Kota pulled a little bit, but really not that bad. We passed a couple fire hydrants and Benny would stop, and wouldn't continue until he could leave his mark. haha! As we were walking we passed a few houses with dogs that were barking, so Benny would kind of mumble a little growl sound. When we got back I wiped their paws again and filled their waters. Kota was a thirsty girl! They both nibbled on a little bit of food too, so I let them out again one more time before I left.

Molly

Molly was a little sleepyhead again this morning. She didn't even hear me till I got inside. Usually she hears me and is barking before I even get the key in the door. It was another chilly morning, so I'm sure she really misses her nice, cozy warm fireplace! She got another massage this morning and then she was ready to play. She likes chasing me around, it's so funny! This evening she had so much energy again. She was crouching down and jumping all around as soon as I got there. After she ate her supper, she started running around the yard and barking. There was something out there, deer i'm guessing. There had to be a few of them because the rustling of the leaves was so loud! When she was done, she hopped up on her little bed outside and got brushed. She's shedding pretty good so I'm getting lots of loose hair off!

Molly

It was really cold and frosty out this morning! Molly must have been cold too, she barely went onto the grass to go potty and came back in right away. This morning I was using her massager, then started just using my hands like I do for my puppy. She liked that a lot! I started with her head and neck. Then she would turn her head for me, as if she was telling me where she wanted to be rubbed. I think she was still sleepy this morning, so we didn't really chase around like we normally do. This evening it was a lot nicer out when I came. She had a lot more energy too. She was like a little puppy when I came in! We caught up on our play time after she was done with supper and her brushing. I saw deer running across the highway when I was almost to the turn both visits today. They must be on the move!

Sierra & Koko

The girls were excited when I came in today, jumping all over the place! Sierra didn't finish her breakfast, so I tossed it since it was pretty mushy. I pet them for awhile when their food was heating up. Koko really liked that! I went in and cleaned up their pads, then Sierra came in and licked at my hand. She did her usual running back and forth between me and the kitchen. I got their lighty out and we went in the bedroom and I turned the light off so they could see it really good! Koko started carrying around the pink dog toy I brought while she chased after the light, that was cute!

Molly

This morning was another longer visit with Molly. It was still pretty nice out when I got there, so after she ate we sat out on the porch for awhile. She got two of her favorites this morning, a brushing and a long massage! She really enjoyed the massage, rolled over and laid her head in my lap. She's so funny, she has a routine now. As soon as we're done outside and I walk in and shut the door, she crouches down by the bed and barks. Time to play! We chased around quite a bit before she got the massage. We were both pretty pooped out by then. She's getting too quick for me, and blocks my escape routes. This evening it had finally stopped raining when I came to see her. We spent the majority outside, as she was investigating and sniffing around the yard after her supper. Molly finished up her antibiotics tonight and is continuing to do well with that. She gets pretty excited about her little ham treats though, so we might just have to continue that... she is on vacation after all! I keep giving her lots of hugs for you!

Hi mom and dad! Miss you!

Capone

Today was my last visit with Capone. He was meowing again before I got inside. His food bowl was nearly in the living room, but he still hasn't gotten it open. Capone was really craving attention and almost seemed as if he were permanently attached to my leg! I tried to pour his food into the bowl and this time he pushed against my hand so hard that half of it ended up outside the dish! I had him chasing treats all over the place. I took some toys out for him but he was more interested in getting pet. He was purring so loud the whole time I was there today! I'm sure he will be very happy to see you!
