Amor, Shady, Libby, Poncho, + 1 more

Amor was the only one who came up to say hi to me at first. The babies were curious, but kept their distance. I heard a small barking, but couldn't see where it came from. I looked in the crate and it was empty... or so I thought. Shady was hiding! I got everyone except for the shih tzu to go outside. I went to pick her/him(?) up to take outside, but she/he did not like that one bit! I had the babies outside to eat, but they were too excited at first. I sat down on the patio and Poncho (who was the most timid for me) crawled up into my lap! A couple minutes later, after Libby was done eating she crawled in my lap too. She was trying to snuggle up in my sweatshirt. Then they started getting playful and giving kisses!

Lily & Grace

They were ready for me this afternoon. I opened the back door and saw Grace looking at me happily, tail a-wagging. Grace was especially energetic too. She was running circles around me and jumping around all over the place! They got lots of tummy rubs and back scratches, and in return I got lots of big kisses. I don't think they were ready for me to go...

Capone

I had to be careful coming into the house, because Capone was right by the door peeking out. I could tell he was trying to get into the food bowl before I came today. It wasn't even on the mat anymore! He was loving up every minute of attention from the moment I walked in! He ate all his food except for one tiny kibble. Must be saving that for a snack for later! He is doing very well and I will spend some more time with him tomorrow. I read your notes and thank you!

Lily & Grace

Lily and Grace were a couple of little sleepyheads this morning! I called them through the garage, nothing... I went out back and called for them, still nothing... set the food bowls on the ground, and they came barreling around the corner! I think they were even more excited than last night. After they finished eating I gave them their treats. I'm not sure if Lily could even taste hers, she gobbled them up so fast! She was done with all three of hers by the time Grace finished her first. I'm not sure what happened, but the plastic bag you left me for pickup duty was in tiny little pieces all over the yard! I picked them all up, but I'll have to bring a new bag later today. I gave the girls lots of attention. Lily was getting very playful and rolled over. I started rubbing her belly, but then she was goofing around, kicking her legs and squirming all over the place. I got some big kisses from Grace today too!

Clovis, Snickers, Sophie & Patches

Everyone except Patches was waiting out front today. I went in and got all the food ready, and only Clovis was waiting hungrily to eat. He sure can eat fast! I think he had the plate cleaned before anyone else showed up for theirs. The rest came around the corner simultaneously. It was a little cooler today than it has been, mainly because it was so windy. Sophie really wanted to go inside. I had to gather the plates when they were finished because they started blowing all over the place! Not sure if you can tell in the picture, but Snickers was all covered in dust! He must have been having some fun today. As I was leaving, they were all out front again. Patches was checking out my front license plate on the car. He was fascinated by it or something, just looking at it and smelling it. lol

Lily & Grace

The girls were very happy to see me. They were both in the backyard when I came. As I was getting their food ready, I could hear them in the garage. They were patiently waiting for their food out on the patio. Grace ate her paste and pills with no problems for me. They both wanted lots of attention! Of course, only after they were finished eating... Lily had to check and make sure that Grace didn't leave anything in her bowl too. They're so funny! They hadn't calmed down yet before it was time to go. I told them I would see them again in the morning.

Clovis, Sophie, Snickers & Patches

Another nice day out! No one was at the front of the house to greet me when I came today. I went in and started filling the dry food bowls. I opened the patio door and suddenly Clovis, Patches and Sophie appeared! Patches came in to help me get the food ready again, and the other two sat and patiently waited, staring at me through the windows. Clovis started eating before I even got the plates all down. After a couple minutes Snickers came running. After everyone was finished, Clovis and Snickers disappeared again. Sophie stayed out by Patches and I for awhile. I was petting her and Patches started coming towards me for more too. She didn't like that! Clovis eventually showed up again for awhile before I left and sat on his table below the window, cleaning his face. Snickers was the only one to come out front and watch me leave today.

Clovis, Snickers, Sophie, & Patches

Sophie, Snickers and Patches were all hanging out by the garage when I pulled up today. Patches came and greeted me before I even made it out of the car! He walked up to the door and patiently waited for me to open it. Right away I spotted Clovis sitting in the window meowing at me. I started getting the food plates ready and Patches was helping. He followed me everywhere I went, wanting me to pet him. The other three were patiently waiting by the patio door for their supper. I sat out back with them while they ate. They all let me pet them for awhile (Snickers more so than Clovis or Sophie), before they went on their way. Patches hung out with me for awhile before I had to leave. After I locked up, they were all hanging out in front of the garage again. There was even another cat sitting in the neighbor's yard.

Mattie, Sugar, Buddy, Jimmy, Charlie

It was so nice out today! Everyone spent the day outside. After I let them in, I took Jimmy's collar off. Then he started going crazy and tearing around the house in circles! I went in the kitchen and Jimmy came flying through, hit the food bowl on his way past and food went flying everywhere! haha! Buddy helped me clean up, and so did Jimmy when he calmed down. I was kneeling down and petting Buddy when Sugar came by and started rubbing her head on my leg. She was very snuggly tonight. I sat on the floor and was attacked with kisses! Jimmy came jumping into my lap with Sugar climbing up too. Mattie got jealous and crawled over to my side and Buddy just got close enough that he could be pet. Monkey pile! Buddy found another rawhide and perched himself on top of the couch. Then Sugar and Jimmy got curious and tried to check out what he had. He wasn't so happy about that! He was guarding it so well that I had to take it and bribe him into his cage, cause he wasn't about to leave it. I threw his blanket in the wash and left your mom a note to maybe throw it in the dryer when she comes in the morning. Hopefully I did it right!

Everyone was very energetic this morning! Jimmy was very happy to see me. Buddy had a big rawhide in his mouth when I let him out. He strutted around with it for a bit then put it on the pillow in the office. It was so cute! Sugar was very playful with me this morning. She was up on the bed so I went in to pet her. She kept squirming around and rolling over so I could pet her tummy. If I stopped, she'd reach her legs out for me and crawl over towards me. Then she started rubbing her head in my arms and snuggling close. Buddy was trying desperately to get at something outside by the hose... little hunter! Then Mattie got curious and started trying to help him look.
