Gracie, Emma & the gang

This afternoon I came in and saw Miss Emma lounging in the dining room. A minute later, Gracie came around the corner. It took her a minute to realize it was me. She then got all crazy excited! I let her outside to do her business. Houston, Henry and Finn all came over to say hi. Henry lounged on the table and Finn stayed close for her pets as she purred away. When Gracie came in, I got Emma up for her turn to go out. But... she decided to go hide out in her kennel. Haha! I got her back out of there and outside. Gracie was dancing around all happy while she got some pets too. She kept getting jealous if I was petting the cats. Haha! This evening I came in and Gracie was right there to see who was home. I let her out quick while I got dinner ready for the girls. I poured a few spoonfuls of chicken broth on Emma's food and gave it to her while Gracie was outside. I scooped the kitty boxes, then went to hang out with them in the dining room. Charlie came out to say hi. But, he wasn't too happy that Finn was right there wanting attention too. Too bad for him! Haha. Gracie came in for her turn to eat while Emma went out back. When she came in, I gave the girls each a bedtime cookie. I let them stay out, since that is what they're used to now.

Sadie, Zoie & Cole

This afternoon Sadie and Cole met me in the laundry room. We went to the kitchen, where Zoie was dancing around at the gate, holding like all of her toys in her mouth! Haha! I guess she had to show off her new stuff! I let them out back and Zoie made sure to bring everything out with her. It was a beautiful afternoon! Cole went and did his business. Both girls were out in the grass, rolling around and soaking up some sun. Zoie, was of course surrounded by her toys. Later, she came and sat by me while she got the chance. As soon as the other two showed up for pets, she wandered off. When it was time, I gathered all her toys and we headed back inside.

Oreo & Stuffs

Well... we had quite the interesting start to our day! At 7:00 this morning, we experienced a 5.6 earthquake. Yikes! All is well though. It didn't do really any damage in our area, but was big enough for pretty much everyone to feel or get woken up from! The house and kitties are doing just fine. :) Today Stuffy was lounging in the living room again. Oreo was sitting in the kitchen waiting for me. He got his meds and dinner. I filled their toy up after I finished with their things and met them in the living room. Stuffy sat off just a little ways, but Oreo went right to work on his snacks. He laid there and got his attention time after he'd had his fill of snacks. Stuffy was busy working on his dinner at that time. Then, they kind of switched places. Stuffy came back to sit in the living room, while Oreo ate more dinner. I tossed some treats to Stuffy so he'd come sit closer. He did, and then ate the ears off while I pet him. Both boys are doing great!

This evening I found Stuffy lounging in the middle of the living room. Oreo came walking up behind me as I was saying hi to Stuffy. Oreo sat in his spot to wait for his pill treat and dinner. I took care of their other things and the boys were then waiting for me in the living room. I sat by them and brought their treat toy. Stuffy enjoyed some pets while Oreo pawed at the toy. He took a break to get some chin rubs, so Stuffy took his turn for snacks. Both boys stayed by me today and enjoyed their attention time. Oreo later wandered off to go eat some more dinner.

This evening Oreo was making his way down the stairs to see me. He got his medicine and started working on dinner. Stuffy was sitting just around the corner and meowed at me when I grabbed their water dish. I stopped to pet him before going to scoop their box. The boys were both laying in the living room when I finished. I filled up their toy and Stuffy was first to snack on the treats. Oreo waited patiently for his turn. Stuffy wandered off and decided to lounge behind the couch. Haha. Oreo stayed and pawed his treats out. He purred away as he got his pets too. Oreo snuggled up closer to me after his snacks were all gone.

Bela & Luna

Today Bela came running over to say hi. I saw Luna was already sitting in the bedroom doorway. I gave both kitties some treats right away. Then, I topped off their food and water and went to scoop their box. Bela came along to supervise and make sure I was doing everything correctly. Haha. When I was finished with their box, I noticed Luna wasn't sitting by the bedroom anymore. I thought maybe she'd gone back into hiding. But, she was already in her spot under the table in the living room! She was peering up at me through the glass. Haha! Bela and I joined her and we got some laser light time in. Both kitties had fun watching the glowy red spot. Bela even pawed at the wall to get it! He had fun rolling around with his ball toy too. He sat at the bottom of the stairs to wait for me, while I took all his toys back up there. They did great!

Today Oreo met me in the living room with a meow. We went to the kitchen to get him his medicine and dinner. Stuffy was in his usual spot. By the time I'd finished scooping their box, Oreo had migrated to the living room, and Stuffy was sitting by the treat filling station. I dropped him a few since he was sitting right there, and because Oreo hogs them all. Haha! The boys met me in the living room. Stuffy sat off a ways, just out of reach. Oreo worked on his snacks and got his chin rubs. I took a break to scoot over by Stuffy to give him some pets as well. Oreo didn't seem to mind, as he continued to work on his treats.

This evening I started getting food ready and heard Oreo coming down the stairs to see me. He was sneaky and found his pill the first time, but the second time he ate it for me in his little treat sandwich. Haha! He snacked while I filled their water and scooped their box. Stuffy was sitting in the bedroom as usual. When I was finished, both boys were sitting by the treat toy tonight. I filled it up for them and they both worked on their favorite snacks. Stuffy ate the ears off and Oreo pawed at it to get his crunchies out. They both sat by me and got their pets and chin rubs tonight too.

Bela & Luna

Today it took a minute after I got in, but then Bela came running to see me! He immediately started brushing up against my legs as we headed to their feeding area. I got them more food and water. Bela had put some of his toys in the food bowl again. Haha! After that, I went to see where Luna was. She was sitting under the bed. I said hi to her and let her sniff at my hand, then I headed back out by Bela. Luna quietly crept along behind me! I didn't even notice right away. I turned around and was surprised to see she was right behind me. Haha. I tossed them both some treats. Then, Bela and I headed to the living room. He was having fun rolling around and swatting at his ball. Luna eventually came to join us. She kept taking some time to watch, then would come a bit closer. We had fun playing with their laser light for awhile too. Before I left, I headed upstairs with Bela's toys. He was right behind me, so I bet they won't stay up there long! Haha.

Today Oreo was on his way to greet me at the door when I came in. He saw me coming, turned around and headed the other way to the kitchen. He got his medicine and waited for his snack. Stuffy was sitting in the bedroom as usual. After cleaning up their box, I filled Oreo's toy and we headed to our spot by the window.  Stuffy came and joined us tonight. He sat in the living room, off to the other side of the couch. Oreo worked on his snacks and got his chin rubs. I got their laser light out for some playtime as well.
