Peanut

This morning Peanut hopped out of his little bed when I came in. We went out back right away and he wandered out to do his business. When he came in, he worked on his breakfast. After that, we played with his red dog for a little bit! This afternoon I found Peanut snuggled up to the pillows on the floor. He got up and walked over to the door. After a minute, he wandered out. It was another rainy day today. He went and did his business, then came back inside pretty quick. This evening, Peanut was all comfy by the pillows again. It took a little coaxing for him to join me outside. He went out and pottied, then went to wait by the door. I had him go back out again. When he was all done, we went in and he got his dinner. He of course, pranced around, waiting for his treats first! Haha.

Peanut

This morning I came in and called for Peanut. He wasn't in his usual spot, so I started looking around for him. He was hanging out on the rug by the front door. We had some storms overnight, so I wonder if he was a little nervous? He got up and followed me to the door. It took a little coaxing, then he wandered out with me. He was a good boy and did his business. When he came in, he waited patiently for me to get his breakfast ready. This afternoon it wasn't raining out when I came by. Peanut was standing right up by the couch, peering over at me when I came in. He trotted over to the door and we went out back. He did his thing, then we hung outside for a little while. This evening, Peanut was at his spot by the couch, wide eyed and watching for me. Haha. He led the way to the door and went out. The grass was wet since it had just gotten done raining. He thought about it for a minute, then braved getting his tootsies wet. I sent him back to the grass again and he finished going potty for the night. When he came in, he was ready for his dinner!

Peanut

This afternoon I came in and Peanut was quick to get up and come over to investigate me. Haha! I walked over to the door and opened it to let him out. He stood there and looked outside, then up at me, then outside again. I told him he needed to go out potty, but he didn't budge. I got a couple treats to help entice him out there and that did the trick! He trotted out to the grass and did his thing. This evening, Peanut was lounging in his bed again. I went out back and waited for him to wander out there with me. It took only a minute this time, then he came to see what I was up to. Peanut tried to fake me out tonight! Haha. I told him to go potty and he walked out to the grass, then came back to the patio. "Ok I'm done!" Nice try little man! I kept scooting him towards the grass again and eventually he went back out. This time, he did both for me. Good boy! We went in and he waited for me to get his dinner ready for him. Peanut ate, then waited for his bedtime snack.

Oscar

This afternoon I came in and got to the back door, when I heard a rustling coming from the bedroom. Oscar was getting down from his nap on the bed. He came over, did a big stretch, then said hi. We went out back after that. The rain was done, so we had a nice visit outside. Oscar had fun rolling around in the grass and getting all wet. He was busy wandering around and exploring a lot today. When it was time, he got wiped down well outside. Even the top of his head was wet! Haha. He was a very good boy and waited patiently to go in.

Sadi & Noell

This morning Noell met me in the living room and walked me to their kitty room. I found Sadi snoozing on the floor by their food bowls. Not long after I got there, she started to have a seizure. I held her through that, then let her recover. Once she was up and moving around ok, I got their food quick. I sat in there by her the rest of the time. Poor girlie just sat right up next to me for a little bit. I pet her gently, then soon after, she was purring away. Noell came in and ate some food, then raced out to the other room. Later, she came back and sat in my lap to paw at my sweatshirt strings. After that, she decided to curl up next to the water bowl. Haha.

Hunter & Riley

This morning the pups were peeking their noses at me as I opened the door. Hunter was at my heels, barking hello. I let them out back quick. I quickly realized I had a little boo boo to clean up. I worked on that while the pups spent their time outside. Poor Hunter didn't get to have his playtime today, since I wasn't sure if he was the one who had the upset tummy. I got breakfast ready for the pups. They have been eating so well this time! Haven't missed a single meal. After I finished with that, I went out with them and started wiping down paws.

Hunter & Riley

This morning I came in and saw the pups had a pillow party again while I was gone. I picked those up quickly as we made our way to the back door. Hunter was talking to me on his way out. I realized he'd brought his ball in the last time we came inside. So, I grabbed that and headed outside with them. Hunter was ready for his game. We played, then I let him know when it was time to be done. The pups both relaxed outside and enjoyed the beautiful morning after that. This afternoon, I gave them their extra visit. It had just gotten done raining, so we made good time. The pups went out back, then the sun started to peek out again. Hunter was ready for another game of fetch, so we did that. Then, the pups did some sunbathing in the yard. This evening, Riley was happy to come sit by me and get some heiny scratches. We went out back and Hunter got his fetch game in. Before I left, I got the pups their dinners. They have been eating great this time!

Sadi & Noell

This morning Noell was waiting for me in the hallway. She started walking ahead of me and kept making sure that she was in the middle of my legs as I walked. I nearly tripped over her several times! Haha. She rubbed up against my leg this morning while Sadi got her medicine. Her nose is looking pretty good lately. Noell came and talked to me from the living room while I got their food ready. After the girls both worked on their food, they enjoyed some pets and chin scratches. Noell made me crack up when she decided to snuggle up to the water bowl! Haha. This evening Sadi was snuggled up in the leopard bed when I came in. Noell was in the kitty room as well. She said hi, then sat by her bowls,  ready to eat. I got them working on their dinner, then they both enjoyed a little more attention.

Oscar

This afternoon I came in and found Oscar lounging on the couch. He hopped down to come say hi. Today, as soon as we got outside, we actually got a game in! Oscar was ready to play a little fetch. It was windy out, so I only got a couple shots to throw his frisbee to him. After that, he wanted to play tug of war. That was pretty short lived. So, Oscar dropped it and decided it was time to relax. Later on, he and his friend were both at the fence, trying to check something out. Soon enough, it was time to head inside again and get Oscar his favorite snack!

Hunter & Riley

This morning I opened the door and two little noses were right there to greet me! Hunter started right in, telling me he was ready to play. I saw that the pups had both eaten their dinner after I left last night. Yay! We went out back and I grabbed Hunter's orange ball and tossed it for him. He just looked at me. I told him I threw it for him, and he ran to the door instead. I went in and got their breakfast ready, thinking maybe he was hungry. Nope! He just had to go get the ball he really wanted to play with instead. Once he had his blue fetch ball, he was finally ready for our game. We went back out and this time he was racing after his ball. Riley was busy exploring and doing her own thing. This evening, I came in and Hunter was ready to go again. The dogs appeared to have had a pillow party while I was gone! Haha. I picked those up quick, then I saw the pups had polished off their bowls from breakfast again. Good job! Riley went off to do her business, and Hunter raced to go get his ball for me. We got his game in, then I told him when we were all done. After that, the pups lounged in the grass and enjoyed the beautiful evening! When it was time, we went in and I got their dinners ready for them. Riley wandered off to go snuggle up on her bed.
