Sugar, Buddy, Jimmy & Charlie

This evening the boys ran up to me to say hi when I arrived. I let them out quick. Miss Sugar was hiding in her cave in the bedroom. I got their meds ready and she still hadn't come out yet. I saved her plate from Jimmy, then finally she made her way out! After she finished, they all went outside for a little while. It was still sprinkling out a bit, but it was pretty warm yet. Buddy even did some exploring. Sugar and Jimmy relaxed on their bed on the patio. Back inside, Sugar snuggled up with me while I played fetch with Jimmy. Then, the boys worked on their dinner.

Biscuit, Dilly, Jezebel & Roxy

This afternoon Bert already had a toy picked out and was dancing around with it when I walked in. Dilly began springing up as soon as I let them out of the kitchen! All three pups took off running around the yard to explore. They raced from one side to the other. Biscuit was the first ready to head back in. We sat in the kitchen and he brought me his star to throw around for him. Bert was just happy snuggling me. She would sit with her nose just about touching mine, ball in her mouth and all! That made me laugh. Dilly would run over and howl at me to help her get a toy out from under the couch! Once I got that, we went outside once more before it was Roxy's turn to come out. She came out running and immediately wanted to play fetch when we got outside. She would cry until I threw it for her. Biscuit would race across the yard to help her fetch it and run back with her every time! Everyone was happy to get a treat before I left.

Sarge

When I showed up I could immediately hear Sarge's tail wagging excitedly in his kennel. I let him out and he started hopping like a bunny, trying to say hello. I couldn't help, but laugh and give him hugs. We went outside so he could run around for a bit. He didn't take too long because the weather was so bad. The wind nearly knocked him over. We headed back in so he could have some dinner. He inhaled it within seconds, then nudged the bowl toward me like "Look, all done!" The rest of them time we cuddled in the living room, so he got a little sleepy before he had to go back to bed.

Sarge

This morning Sarge did a couple great big stretches on his way to the back door with me! He didn't want to go outside at first, but finally agreed to come with me. He gave me a great big hug, then wandered off to do his business. He came back up and started hopping around by me excitedly. After he went into the grass to potty a couple times, we headed back inside. He curled up on his bed and got some back scratches for a few minutes before going back to bed.

Miranda

This afternoon Miranda was barking as soon as she heard me pull in the driveway. I opened the door and she immediately started sniffing my jeans, smelling other puppies I was around earlier. I asked her if it was time to go out and she jumped up and ran to the door. We headed out and I half expected her to quickly go, then want back inside because it was a bit chilly. It turned out she didn't mind it at all. She brought me her toy a few times then eventually just layed down in the grass.

Bella & Zoe

This morning Bella was snoozing away on the couch when I walked in. She did a great big stretch on her way down and followed me around a bit. I let the girlies go outside to do their business. Soon, they were ready to come back in. I got their breakfast ready, but they were way too interested in playing instead! Both girls wiggled their way over for some attention. Then, Bella ran and got me a bone, so I tossed it for her to fetch a couple times. Zoe was busy dancing around on my lap, getting pet. But soon, she noticed the bone and stole it from Bella. Of course, no one wanted the other bone that was laying nearby! Bella came over to cry to me about how her sister stole it. They traded off chewing on that and playing with me. Before I left, we went outside once more. Bella and I had fun chasing around for a couple minutes, before we headed back inside.

Bella & Zoe

This morning Bella was snoozing right in the middle of the living room. I woke her up when I opened the door. She quickly wandered over by me to say good morning. Zoe was bouncing up and down like crazy until I finally made my way to her. I let them both outside quick. They didn't take very long. They came back inside and immediately wanted their treats. They knew the drill. They sat all cute for the treats, then were overjoyed to receive them. I sat in the living room with them after that. Zoe kept stealing Bella's bone, then Bella would come and whine to me, tattling. I got her a different bone and then she was quite content. This evening I was greeted by Bella again. She was waiting for me right behind the door. Zoe was bouncing like crazy until we headed outside. The neighbors' dogs were out and Zoe went ballistic. She was running along the fence like a mad dog, barking and scratching at it. I finally called her back inside, and she listened really well. Although she was still worked up, and started running in circles around the house. I finally gave both of them a bone and they settled down a little. Bella was always happy with a bone.

Bella & Zoe

This evening Bella was bouncing up and down when I arrived. She followed me to the kitchen so I could let Zoe out. They were both so eager to go outside. I let them out, and only a few minutes later, Bella was scratching at the door, ready to come back in. I cleaned up Zoe's area a bit. I refilled their food and water bowls. For some reason Bella decided to drink from Zoe's seconds after I filled it. After that, I gave them both a treat. They sat so still and their eyes were wide with anticipation. Then they followed me back to the living room for some attention. It wasn't long before they started running around and chasing eachother, fighting over bones.

Chloe

Chloe was on her lounge chair and stretching when I arrived. She quickly hopped down and ran to give me kisses. She beat me to the backdoor so we could go outside. She ran around excitedly, not minding how cold it was out. She eventually ran back to the door, ready to grab a quick bite. I watched her eat a little bit again, then she ran over and attacked me with kisses. That's what happens when you sit on the floor beside a snuggley puppy. You get kiss attacked. She was so cute. This afternoon she hopped right up when I walked in and was bouncing around with excitement! She ran to the back door and quickly went potty so we could get to playing. We chased each other around outside for a little bit. Next, we came in and I sat with her so she'd eat a little for me. She gladly did, in return for pets after each bite! I grabbed out her little deer toy from her basket and we played some fetch. Chloe was being silly and initiated some Keep-Away. She bounced around abd pawed playfully at me. Then, she would stand with her heiny pointed at me for some back scratches! We went outside once more before it was time to go.

Chloe

This evening when I arrived I heard Chloe barking away. I stepped inside and she ran upto me with her tail wagging like "It's you again!" After her excited hellos, we went outside so she could go potty. She was almost too happy to go, but eventually took care of her business. She ran back to the door as soon as she was done. We went back in and I sat with her, making sure she ate a little bit, and got a little something in her tummy. After a few kibbles, she wandered off. I found her on her chair by the window, with a huge grin on her face. I sat with her and she got all excited again. She crawled on my lap a few times and tried rolling over so I could scratch her tummy. After a little more playing around, I let her outside one more time before leaving.
