Dakota & Benny

Today Kota and Benny were happy to see me after we missed a day! Kota was playing with my scarf while I got them hooked up and ready to go. Once we got outside, Kota stood up against the mailbox and was checking out the snow on top! They both were hopping along excitedly in the snow. Benny was trying to chase after the cars that passed, and was happy to see his neighborhood friends outside. Kota kept picking up nuts that had fallen on the ground and would roll them ahead and chase after them! She even took a couple bites of the snow to try it out. She's so funny!

Bailey

I could hear Bailey barking as I pulled into the driveway. She greeted me at the laundry room with her tail wagging a mile a minute! I let her go outside to go potty first. She came back in and was just talking away! She followed me to the kitchen to get her supper. As soon as she finished, she came over to give me a kiss on the chin, then went right back to the kitchen! Then, she bounced around and barked for her treats. She sure knows how to butter me up! I gave her a couple. She closed her mouth too fast for one, and sent it shooting right back at my head! It was the funniest thing. After her treats we messed around and played with her squirrel. That didn't last too long. Every time she retrieved her squirrel she thought she should get another treat! She kept running into the kitchen, then back to me. I peeked up over the counter at her. There she was, looking up at her stash and looking back at me with big excited eyes! We played a little more, then she finally got some more treats before I left.

Baxter

This morning I had to call for Baxter. He must have been sleeping hard! He eventually came wandering out from the bedroom. His little tail started wagging as he made his way over to say hi. He came and sat with me for quite awhile to get his back rub! Later I got him his breakfast and a fresh bowl of water. This afternoon Baxter was curled up on his comfy bed! He hopped right up, walked over and gave me his heiny to scratch. I tried to get him to play with his toy with me, but he just wanted some lovin. He took a potty break and came back inside the nice cozy house to warm up. His little door moved once from a breeze and made him nervous. He got right up, let out a low grumble and went to investigate! Nothing there, so he came back to be pet. As I was leaving, Baxter curled right back in his bed to wait for mom to get home!

Baxter

Baxter had his little tail wagging as soon as I came in this afternoon! He waited until I got inside before getting up from his comfy bed. After I put the mail on the counter, I sat on the couch. He came right over and sat with his back to me to get his back rub! He wanted his Heiny scratched a little too. I saw his little meerkat toy so I went and grabbed it. He came over, crouched down and played a little tug. I tossed it for him a few times and he chased right after it. Baxter lost interest in that after awhile. He just wanted to be pet!

Dakota & Benny

Kota was singing to me again when I came to get them for our walk! We got outside and they were happy to get going. Kota was hopping along with Benny following closely! It was super windy out, so lots of things were blowing around. Dakota chased after leaves that flew by and Benny barked at people's blow up Christmas decorations that were moving around. They stopped to check out lots of different smells along the way. Benny said hi to his friends and got a little tired out, he was so excited!

Buckwheat

This morning my little buddy was curled up on his bed. He had already woken up and was digging at his pillow! He saw me and started galloping down the hallway. Outside to potty quick, then time for his morning snack. We cuddled up in his chair afterwards. Then he let me know when he was ready to go back outside. This afternoon Buckwheat got up and happily followed me to the kitchen. He got his yummy fajita meats and ate them right up. Next I grabbed his leash. He could barely sit still for me to hook it on his collar! We took a nice walk for the afternoon. Afterwards he sat outside for awhile and enjoyed the last nice day before the cold sets in. I waved goodbye to my little bud. He thought he was going for another walk. Poor guy! He'll be happy to see mom later!

Sugar, Buddy, Jimmy & Charlie

This evening the boys hurried outside while Sugar ran for cover in her cave. I got their dinner ready while they did their business. Later, Sugar decided to join me in the kitchen with all the yummy smells! Buddy started inhaling his food again tonight, but stopped when there was a little left, with of course, a couple pills! LOL I added a couple little pieces of meat again and he had no problem finishing. I let them all outside for a few minutes after dinner. They got a couple treats, then it was time for bed! Mommy's home soon yay!

Sophie & Roxy

The girls have had pretty nice weather this year compared to last. It was another very nice day out! They came in and seemed even more excited than usual to see me. They jumped up to give me hugs and kisses. Roxy ran and grabbed her toy right away. She was prancing around with it in her mouth. She rolled around with it, then brought it up to her chair to play with. Sophie rolled around in my lap and sprawled out on the couch. Later they traded! Roxy came up to see me and Sophie was looking around for the toy. She finally found it sitting in the chair. Sophie had a little lunch, then they got their treats. Sophie had her time to mess around with the toy for awhile too. The girls both checked out the bedroom to see if mom and dad were in there. They'll be happy to see you soon! They got the last of their pupperoni treats today when they went back outside to play.

Sugar, Buddy, Jimmy & Charlie

Tonight I let the gang out of their kennels. Buddy and Jimmy went outside right away after a quick lap around the living room! They came back in for dinner. Buddy started wolfing down his rice dinner right away! But... then he stopped when he had just a small amount and two pills left. I added a couple tiny pieces of meat and he finally finished it for me. Buddy curled up on his bed and Jimmy snuggled in my lap. He gave me lots of kisses again! They went potty again for me before bedtime and got a couple snacks. Jimmy did one final lap around the house before coming into his bed.

Buckwheat

This morning Buckwheat was snuggled up on his comfy bed. He woke up and rolled to his side while I pet him. Eventually he got up and went potty before it was time for his treats! He danced around and pointed to me where to drop them for him. After that we curled up in his chair for awhile. He let me know when he was ready to get down to go outside again. This afternoon litte cutie popped right up when I came in! Sometimes I swear he must hear me! He got his lunch time snack. Then, I grabbed his leash and he just watched me. After I hooked him up, he started bouncing around so happily! We took a pretty long walk today. After we got back, we decided to go sit on the patio for awhile. It was so nice out! Little Buckwheat just sat and soaked up some sun. At dinner time Buckwheat was laying by the dresser and popped right up again. He came to his spot by the tile and carefully crossed it to follow me to the kitchen. He danced around on his tippy toes like he does while he waited for dinner. Tonight Buckwheat was sleeping soundly under the bed. He woke up and wen running down the hall ahead of me. He stopped at the hallway and barked for me to help him cross. Then, he was hopping along to the kitchen! My little buddy snuggled up with me in his chair for awhile.
