Gracie

When I opened the door tonight, Gracie was right there dancing excitedly... until she saw it wasn't mom or dad! She ran and hopped up onto the back of the couch and didn't budge. She did better than last time though, and let me pet her for awhile. She wasn't terribly thrilled, but she didn't leave either! I finally got her to go outside for me, but she didn't go potty out there. She just jumped up on one of the patio chairs, looked around for a little bit, then curled up and laid down. The neighbor dog was out by the fence watching us. I think he was a little disappointed that Gracie wasn't over there barking with him! When we went back inside, Gracie went to lay on her lounge chair. I pet her a little more and gave her a treat before I left.

Jerrie

Today Jerrie wasn't sleeping in his chair, so I went to look for him. He was all curled up on his blanket on the bed! As soon as I came in he stood up and walked toward me for some attention. After I took care of his food, water and litter box, I sat by the bed and spent the rest of the time petting him. His little motor was running so loud today! He is such a sweet kitty. He perked his ears up a little when some birds outside started chirping. When I was leaving, he gave me such a sad look like, "Hey, where you going? I wasn't finished!". Since you don't have much computer access, I will start leaving updates once every couple days.

Taz

Taz was very itchy again this morning, but that wasn't going to stop him from enjoying his walk! We took the long route again today. Taz was so excited to start exploring at his first loose leash area, that he didn't even want his treat. The little dog was outside today as we passed, and Taz did a very good job at focusing on his walk instead. When we got home, Taz was busy trying to find something over by the fence. He was sticking his nose through it and crying! I walked over by him, but couldn't see what he was looking at. When he was finished, we played fetch for awhile. One time he brought the ball back with a mouth full of grass too!

Sugar, Buddy, Jimmy & Charlie

All three were ready to come in tonight! They all jumped up and down at the door until I let them in. I brought their bowls inside and noticed a big pile of food outside the bowl... Buddy must have been digging at it again! After I gave the boys their meds, they all settled down in the living room. Buddy had a little to eat, then disappeared into the office. Jimmy walked behind all the pillows on the couch and knocked off every single one so that he had room to lay down on the couch, ya know since he takes up the whole thing! Sugar hopped up and sat with him for a little bit. Jimmy snuggled with me some more, then laid on the floor and chewed on a rawhide. Sugar stayed on the couch and took a little nap until it was time for bed.

Sugar, Buddy, Jimmy & Charlie

Everyone is doing just fine this afternoon. Sugar thought she was going to get to go back inside when she saw me. Buddy was curled up on one of the dog beds on the patio, guarding the food bowl. He grabbed a couple pieces and set them on the bed, eating one every now and then. He got upset at Sugar even though she was no where near him! Jimmy snuggled up on my lap again today.

Dakota & Benny

Kota wasn't very talkative today when I came to get them for their walk. Benny grabbed his ball right away and stood against my leg trying to show it to me while I got Kota all hooked up. While I was locking up the door, Benny started barking at an imaginary person, or maybe it was something blowing in the breeze! I didn't know what he was looking at. Kota had diarrhea today, but she only squatted to pee one time on the walk. Towards the end of our walk, Benny was getting tired. I noticed that he would slow down and take his time when we would come to a shady spot, then he'd speed up when we were in the sunlight!

Jerrie

When I came in today, I peeked into the office and saw Jerrie all curled up in his favorite chair. He was sleeping and soaking up some sun! He opened his eyes when he heard me, but didn't seem to mind. I took care of his food and litter, then spent the rest of the time with him. He was loving up every minute of it! He moved his head around so that I'd scratch under his chin, by his cheeks, and on top of his head. He rolled over a couple times, and was just purring away. His allergies didn't seem to be bothering him today, since he didn't start sneezing after he purred. He was very relaxed and went back to sleep while I pet him.

Taz

Taz's allergies seemed to be better today. He was excited to go for his walk and was patiently waiting at the gate. It was another beautiful morning for us to take a nice long walk! He explored around by the pond this morning and stopped to smell everything. He pooped close to the water today, and while I was busy picking it up, he ran over to the water and looked like he wanted to run straight in! I stopped him by the time he had his toes in the water. We could hear a dog crying this morning, and Taz stopped to listen. We played fetch today after our walk for a little bit.

Sugar, Buddy, Jimmy & Charlie

This morning Buddy and Jimmy were ready to go play outside. Sugar was hiding in her cave, so I had to coax her out with a treat. I gave the boys their meds, and brought all their bowls outside for them. Buddy started searching for little critters right away. Sugar and Jimmy spent most of the time by me. Later Jimmy went to sit in the sunlight. Naughty little Buddy decided to pee on one of the bags of top soil, so handle with care! haha! I gave them all a treat before I left. Buddy ran off to savor his, and the other two started crowding in to see if he'd share! This afternoon I came to see them again and they were all doing just fine. Buddy didn't really care that I was there. He just laid out in the grass in the shade to take a nap. I sat down and had Jimmy curled up in my lap, and Sugar was sitting at my side.

Taz

Taz was laying out by his tree this morning. Poor guy, he was so itchy he couldn't even stay up long enough for me to get his collar on! He kept having to sit down and itch himself. My allergies are terrible right now too, so I feel for him. I gave him his medication, then we went on our way. It was a gorgeous and slightly breezy morning, perfect for a walk! We took our long route around the pond and had a crane swoop down and land just across from where we were. We came home and played fetch for awhile before I left.
