Sophie & Roxy

Today I came in and opened the door. The girls were both relaxing on the patio in the shade. They hopped up when they heard the door and came in to see me. It sure was toasty outside today! But, it was really hot in the house today too. I went to check the thermostat to see what was up. I realized the AC wasn't working, so the girls and I went back outside. They'd eaten their dinner already while I was checking on things. It was hot outside too, but at least there was a nice breeze. The girls had fun out back today. Every few minutes there seemed to be a squirrel racing along the top of the back fence, as if taunting the girls. They'd race along after it. Then, they were sitting beneath the tree staring up at it, watching for more critters!

Noell & Navi

This morning I came in and Navi met me as I was getting to the back door. I opened it to go turn the water on and Noell was right there out on the patio. She waited for me to return. She was busy trying to catch a bug when I got back. The girls helped me get their breakfast and water ready. I went to scoop their area and Navi came along to supervise. There really wasn't anything in there today. I met the girls at our spot and they stood on either side of me for some heiny scratches. I got their mouse toy out and they chased after that for a few minutes. Then, we all noticed someone walking out in the backyard. It was the bug sprayers. That really freaked the girls out though. They both stood by the back windows to watch for them. Then, Navi went and stood up in her little window by the front door. When they would come near a window, the girls would take off like they were going to hide, but then they wer too curious and stayed. Haha.

Today I pulled up and went to get the mail. After I closed the box, the girls were then sitting by the gate, happy as could be. I went in and they met me at the door. I filled their water outside and got their food bowls filled. Sophie got her medicine and Roxy got a treat too. The girls both came over for some pets by the couch. Next, they worked on their dinner. Roxy sprawled out in her chair to take a nap for awhile. Sophie laid on the cool floor. I got up and Roxy pawed at me for more pets. Soon, it was time to head out and I got them their treats.

Noell & Navi

Today Navi met me in the laundry room and Noell was making her way into the kitchen. They both ran over to their dishes while I gathered them. They followed me to the bathroom and helped me get their food. After I finished with everything, we went to our spot in the living room. I untangled their clump of cat toys. Navi decided to help me with that.... or maybe not. Haha! She kept swatting at it while I was unwinding everything. After that, the girls batted at the mouse toy. Then, they zoomed around after their laser light.

Today the girls were both laying out sunbathing by the front gate when I pulled up. They both hopped up and started whining at me while I grabbed the mail. I got to the door and they came running to say hi. Sophie got her medicine and I filled their food and water bowls. The girls came and snuggled with me for some hello pets. Then, they went and lounged for awhile. Soon, they worked up their appetites and worked on their dinner. The girls ate well. After they were full, they scoped out spots to lounge some more until it was time to go.

Today the girls were dancing excitedly at the gate when I pulled up. I went to the door and then they came running around the side of the house. They came in and waited for me to fill their dishes. I gave Sophie her medicine. Then, the ladies piled up on either side of me on the couch and climbed all over me. Haha. Sophie an Roxy both wandered off and went to lounge in the bedroom. Roxy was sprawled out on the bed and Sophie was laying on the floor next to it. They got up later on and worked on their food. When it was time, I let them out back with some snacks.

Today I didn't see the girls when I pulled up. I got to the door and saw Roxy's head in the doggie house, snoozing away. Sophie was lounging on the patio beside it. They both popped right up and did stretches when they heard me open the door. I got their food ready and gave Sophie her medicine. The girls snacked, then found spots to lounge in the house. Roxy hopped up by me and rubbed her face all over me. Haha! Then, she went and sprawled out on the bed awhile. Sophie laid on the rug. It was pretty toasty in the house, so they pretty much just slept and took it easy.

Oreo & Stuffs

Today I came in and Oreo was making his way through the dining room to come say hi. He meowed at me and then turned and headed back towards the kitchen. He waited patiently for his pill and then his dinner. When I finished scooping their box, he was sitting by his treat toy. Haha. I called for Stuffy as I filled it and joined him in the living room. Stuffy came down and got himself a long cool drink of fresh water. Then, he came and laid at the edge of the living room to watch Oreo work at his toy. Stuffy wandered over to help him after awhile. Oreo was now more worried about getting his chin rubs.

Today I pulled up and the girls heard me. They ran up to the gate to see who was home. I said hi, then they met me at the door. The girls ran in and Sophie started coughing right away. Poor girlie. I filled their dishes and gave her her pill. The girls settled down and went to work on their food. Roxy went over and lounged on the floor for a bit and Sophie checked out the bedroom. They piled on the couch with me for some attention. Then, it was nap time! All that sun today made for some sleepy pups. Roxy laid on her back in her chair and Sophie laid on her doggy bed. They each got treats when it was time to head outside.

Oreo & Stuffs

This evening Oreo was at the door again to greet me. I met him in the kitchen and he rubbed his face on the back of my leg. He ate his pill for me, then I gave him his food. I scooped their box and filled their treat toy. Both boys were waiting in the living room for me tonight. Stuffy came over right away and started helping Oreo with the treats. After he ate all the ears off, then he went and sat on the other side of me. Oreo was sprawled out now with his full belly. Both boys relaxed and enjoyed their pets.
