Wilma, Fezzik & Nikkos

The boys were singing their song to me as I came in! I was greeted with excited hugs and lots of kisses. Wilma got up too, to see what all the fuss was about. We all headed outside to play. Wilma did a lot of exploring tonight, wandering from one side of the yard to the other. The boys did for a bit too, then they got to wrestling around with each other. Later, everyone found a spot to curl up and relax, enjoying the cool evening. Fezz had his spot on the patio chair. After awhile, Neeky was ready to go inside. Wilma curled up on her bed and took a snooze. The boys were busy taking turns giving me kisses! Later Neeky found a toy to lay down and chew on. Of course, then Fezzi wanted the same one! I dug out another similar toy for him, but then they were done with that anyways. Neeky got started on his dinner while Fezz played with me. Fezz joined in after a bit, until it was time to go back to bed.

Miranda

Miranda ran right for the back door today when she saw me come in. Once outside, she gave me a big hug before wandering into the grass to do her business. She ran back and danced around while I scratched her back. We headed in so she could grab a toy for us to play with. We played tug with her red bone and even got a few rounds of fetch in too!

Verena & Sasha

The girls met me at the door this evening, and Sasha was barking away. She quickly quieted and the girls followed me into the garage to go outside. After spending a few minutes out there, they came back in and waited while I picked up the ornaments that were on the floor. Verena was ready for play, bringing over her rope toy! Sasha joined in, fetching me her ball. I kept them each occupied, playing tug with Verena with one hand and throwing the ball for Sasha with the other! I let them both out potty once more before bed. Verena came in and curled up on the couch with her rope. Sasha laid next to the chair I was sitting in. They both followed me to the door when it was time to go.

Miranda

This afternoon Miranda peeked at me through the door as I opened it. She danced around as we made our way to the back door. She ran outside and quickly did her business. Then, she ran over for a quick back scratch. I found her red bone toy in the grass and threw it for her. She played tug with me for awhile, since she didn't want to give it up! We headed back inside, Miranda carrying her bone, and I filled up her water dish.

Frankie

When I arrived this afternoon Frankie ran out of the hall to see me. She sat down by my feet and I gave her a big hello hug. Then she was ready to go outside. We headed over to her usual spot where she went potty for me right away. I let her linger a little longer, just incase she wasn't finished. We headed back upstairs and it was time for supper. She quickly ate, then ran to sit down by me for some attention. This evening she quickly ran to greet me again. She sat down so properly by the door while I put on her collar and leash. We headed out and she sniffed around her usual spot again. Once she was done, we headed back inside to escape the cold. Then she got a treat for being so good. After that she sat by me again and got more attention. She got her chin scratched and her back scratched, she loved it. She even did a little dance.

Buckley, Chloe, Tizzy, JR & Bootsie

This afternoon Bootsie sat by the chest and turned his head to the side as he watched the pooches run out of their room. They were pretty excited to get outside again today. They all surrounded me at first to say hi, before running off to play. Tizzy was burning off some energy today running laps around and around! JR kept running up to me for some attention. Buck would get jealous and come to take over. Eventually he grabbed his squirrel toy and played with that for a bit. Buck had a blast rolling around in the leaves! Then, he sat and stared up into his favorite tree. The others were at the back of the yard, saying hi to the neighbor dog. Chloe and Tizzy would make occasional run-bys to get pet! Chloe and Buck were ready to go in when it was time, but I had to round up the babies to come inside. Bootsie was by the door waiting for us when I came to collect their bones.

Buckley, Chloe, Tizzy, JR & Bootsie

Bootsie gave me a welcome "meow" as I let the pooches outside. Everyone was very talkative today! They all stood around me and had a howling match. They even got the neighbor dogs going! After a little bit they went off to do their usual chasing back and forth between the trees. They wandered over to say hello to the neighbor dog as well. Buck came over and buried his face in my lap as he enjoyed a good neck scratch. Later, he went and got his squirrel toy to play with. When he got bored with it, he rolled around in the leaves for a bit. JR stole the squeaky toy and gnawed on it. Tizzy and Chloe would run up to me occasionally for their turns for attention too. Everyone followed me inside to gather their toys for snack time. Bootsie had curled up on one of the beds all to himself while we were outside.

Sugar, Buddy, Jimmy & Charlie

Tonight the pups went outside right away. They didn't stay out long since it was so cold out! After dinner, Jimmy and I played some fetch. Buddy kept pawing at my legs, wanting to hop up and snuggle with me again. He and Sugar got some attention while Jimmy was busy retrieving his toy. They raced into the kitchen when it was time for their bedtime snack!

Miranda

This afternoon, Miranda greeted me with a toy in her mouth. We headed outside and played some fetch for a bit. Then she layed down and soaked up some sun. When she was ready to go back in, she came up to me and let me know. Back inside, I gave her a nice tummy rub.

Sugar, Buddy, Jimmy & Charlie

This evening the boys went potty and came back in to eat. They all went out again quick after they finished licking their plates clean. Back inside, I found Jimmy's toy for us to play fetch with. While he was occupied with that, Buddy decided to snuggle up on the couch with me. Sugar hopped up too, a little later. Charlie bird was dancing in his cage as I was talking to him. He was doing some sort of Matrix moves! He kept swinging his head back and to the side as if to dodge some imaginary thing. Sugar and Jimmy went outside again for a few minutes before bedtime. Buddy wasn't having any of that! Too cold! He stayed curled up on his soft blankie on the back of the couch.
