Hudson, Zel, Gabbie & Blackie

The kiddos had been great overnight. I took them each outside right away for a potty break. When they were all ready, we came inside for breakfast and some water. They got another potty break when they were finished. The girls wanted in, since it was a little cool out this morning. When they came in, Zel was working on burrowing in the blankets on the couch. That got Gabbie curious. She was at the other end, trying to peek under the covers. Zel didn't want to share! Haha. I tucked them all in their beds for the day. This evening everyone was in a howling mood when I walked in! We went outside for a little while. It was very nice out tonight. After they had some time to play, they came in for dinner. We went right back out as soon as they were done, so they could enjoy some time outside. Neighbor kids were out playing, so that had all the pups curiously watching. When it was time, we headed inside for the night.

This evening I spotted Smudge right away. Emma emerged and came to say hi. I checked outside for Gracie but didn't see her right away. I looked a second time, then she came running. I guess she was off exploring! I let the other two out while I got dinner ready. Miss Gracie had no reservations with me at all this time. She was being her silly self, running around and being excited. The pups all ate their dinners pretty quick. Emma went outside again, but Miss Molly was done for the night. Charlie and Henry joined us in the kitchen, wanting a bit of attention as well. When it was time, I got the pups tucked in for the night.

Bella, Louie & Chico

This morning everyone zoomed out of their beds. Bella gave me her hellos before I got them their breakfast. It was a little cool, but pretty nice out already this morning. Bella and Chico did a little exploring about the yard. Louie kept going from bowl to bowl to eat some food. Silly boy! This afternoon we all spent awhile outside. It was so nice out. Bella snuck in and grabbed a rawhide from somewhere, then laid in the garden. She looked like she was hiding in the wilderness in the tall brush. Haha! Chico came and sat in my lap for a bit, then he and Louie were roaming around. This evening, the pups did much better about eating their dinners. Bella would run over to me, to make sure she wasn't missing anything, then would return to her bowl.

This evening Blackie came wandering in the kitchen to see me. I thought I'd see the others running up, but then I saw mom's note. I let all the kiddos out for a potty break. It didn't take long before they lined up at the gate, ready for dinner. I brought them each inside and got them their food. After they had some time to get a drink, it was back outside they went. It was very nice out! They had some time to run around and explore before bedtime.

This afternoon Moody was meowing at me through the door when I walked in. He hopped along the furniture as I made my way to the door. The pups all came racing once I got outside. Sugar and Freckles both got to work on their food. The three little pups were hopping up and down at my legs. Heighty ran and grabbed a ball and kept tossing it over to me. We played fetch for awhile, until the other pups interrupted. This evening Moody got a few pets as I made my way outside. Heighty brought her ball over right away, while the others worked on dinner. Later, I headed inside and spent some time with Moody.

This evening the pups started barking when they heard me pull up. They were so excited! I let them all out and they zoomed outside. Bella was pretty much attached to my hip at first! I got them their dinners, then we spent some time outside. After Bella had enough hellos, she eventually wandered off to explore. Louie took the opportunity to steal from her bowl, since she was busy. Later, I noticed Louie and Chico had been inside awhile, so I went to check on them. Those silly boys! They were both in their beds, snacking on some rawhides. I tucked them all in for the night. I didn't get any pictures since it was dark and they were too wiggly with excitement.

This afternoon Rusty got up from his nap and came to say hi. I let Ruby out, then we all headed outside. It was cool and windy today. The gate kept banging loudly, so that sent Ruby racing back in when she finished her business. Rusty wasn't interested in playing fetch either, so he and I went in shortly after. Lance was quick to take over my lap. He kept finding strings on my clothes to play with. We tried to look for his toy, but still couldn't find it anywhere. Later, I caught Lance snuggling with Rusty. So cute!

This afternoon was very windy outside! I came in and let Miss Ruby out. It wasn't until she raced out of her bed, that Rusty emerged. Lance was following me around and pawing at my legs. Haha little rascal! The pups and I went outside for awhile. Rusty went right out to his spot to roll around on the ground. He and I played some fetch, while Ruby explored a bit. It was getting so windy out that dust kept blowing in my eyes, so it was time to head in. Lance came right up and snuggled on my lap, purring away. He was in a playful mood though, and kept climbing all over. He and Rusty were even messing around a bit.

Sadi & Stormy

This morning Stormy was very lovey! She followed me around while I took the food to their room and kept rubbing up against my legs, meowing at me. Sadi was wandering about the bedroom as well. I picked her up to give her her morning medicine. The girls both ate a bit, then we visited. Sadi enjoyed a long brushing session and purred away. Stormy curled up on the footstool for most of the time.

Lily, Max & Sophie

This morning Lily followed me to the back door to head outside right away. She and the big pups wandered about the yard to do their business. Lily and I headed inside again to get breakfast ready. Sophie and Max quickly finished off the last of their food this morning. Afterwards, all three were busy exploring. Sophie was having a blast rolling around in the grass for a bit. Max and Sophie chased and wrestled around awhile as well.
