Oreo & Stuffy

This evening I walked in and I heard a thump above me. Then, I heard them running towards the stairs. I guess someone knew I was here! Haha. Oreo came down the stairs quickly, and attached himself to my legs while I got his dinner together. He cracks me up. I cleaned their box, got them fresh food and water, then headed to our spot. Oreo was already waiting for me. He loved on me a little while, before Stuffy finally came to join us. Once he did, Oreo wandered off to go snack some more. Stuffs let me pet him awhile, then he rolled to his side for a belly rub.

Jack & Tigger

Today I could hear Jack meowing when I walked through the door. I dropped the mail off, then went to go see him. I gave him a little food to nibble on right away, so he wouldn't get sick eating too much at one time. While he was busy, I got him some fresh water, then I went to see Tigger. She was ready for me too! I got her some fresh food and water, while I scooped out her box. She wandered around and sniffed at me a bit. When I returned, Jack was ready for some attention. He hopped up in my lap as I sat in the chair. He purred away as I pet him. When it was time, he followed me back to his room to snack a bit more.

Oreo & Stuffs

Today Oreo appeared in the entryway when I walked in. He trotted along ahead of me as I made my way to the kitchen. Oreo was happy to snack on a fresh can of food! I went to the living room when I was finished with their things. Oreo came running in from the entryway. He sat next to me and rubbed his face on me a bit. Then, he itched his chin on their toy basket. Stuffy eventually wandered in to visit as well. He sat on the other side of me. Both boys stayed next to me pretty much the whole time today, enjoying chin scratches and back rubs. Neither were really in the playful mood today. They only wanted their attention. Stuffy even rolled over to get his belly rubbed for awhile!

Oreo & Stuffs

Today I spotted Stuffy sitting in the living room entryway. As I passed him, then Oreo came running by me and on to the kitchen. He sat and waited for me to get his dinner ready. Stuffy sat where he was to wait for me to finish with their other things. Stuffs followed along to our spot in the living room. He sat by me for a little bit to be pet. I wasn't sure where Oreo wandered off to. Stuffy spotted the birds outside and ran over to the window to watch for awhile. There were quite a few flying around out there! Oreo wandered in by me for a minute, rubbed his face on me a couple times, then meandered away again. When Stuffs was done bird hunting, he came and sat by me the rest of the time and enjoyed some chin scratches. As I was leaving, I saw what Oreo was up to! There was some warm sunshine coming through the front door, so he had found a spot on the rug to lay and soak it in.

Sadi & Stormy

This morning Stormy was lounging on a dining room chair. As soon as I walked in, she meowed hello. I started getting their food ready, then Stormy hopped down to visit me in the kitchen. She came along to get working on her breakfast right away. Sadi was snoozing away in her bed. I woke her up and brought her to the bathroom for her morning medicine. The girls snacked on their food, while I refreshed their other dishes. Sadi and I headed to the living room when she was finished. She wandered a few steps away from me, then finally settled to get brushed. Stormy was ready to play with her shoe string! After awhile I set the brush down and was petting Sadi. Stormy wandered around behind me, then came up and started itching her chin on the bristles. She's so silly. This evening Stormy was sitting, all curled up on the back of the couch. Sadi was sleeping in her bed again. I got her her evening meds and eye ointment. I got her nose cleaned up, then set her down and she nibbled on some food. They were out of their dry food, so I mixed up a bowl for them today,  to hold them through tomorrow. They are doing well!

Sadi & Stormy

This morning Stormy was lounging on the back of the couch. She hopped up and followed me to the bedroom. Sadi was curled up and sleeping in her bed. I dropped the food off so Stormy could get to work. I woke miss Sadi up for her medicine. She joined Stormy when she was finished, and they both ate for awhile. I cleaned up their box while I waited for them. I took Sadi to the living room for her brushing time. Stormy followed, and sat nearby to groom herself. I got her shoe string out and had her playing with that awhile. This evening Stormy was curled up at the end of mom's bed, and Sadi was snuggled up in her usual spot. I got her little nose cleaned up and gave her her evening meds. She went to have a little drink when she was done. Stormy yawned and reached out a paw in my direction, so I stopped to give her a little chin scratch.

This evening I saw Stormy was snuggled up on mom's spot on the recliner. As I walked up she meowed at me a few times. I gave her a few chin scratches, then headed to see Sadi. She was all curled up in her bed. She woke up when I snuck a picture of her. I picked her up and gave her her medicine. She got all cleaned up, then I set her by the food. I got them some fresh water for the night.

Bradford, ZZ, Heighty & the gang

This morning I heard a meow in the distance when I walked in. Moody must have been sleeping. He was up and making his way over to see me. I headed outside to feed the pups their breakfast. Within a minute, I was surrounded! Everyone came running to say hi. Soon the excitement wore off, and they went to work on their food. Later, I went back inside to see Moody. He was pawing on the rug when I walked in, but quickly hopped up to the back of the couch. He meowed for his attention. He followed along as I went to make sure he had enough food and water. Then, he got some chin scratches and back rubs. I'm sure he would have me do that all day if he could!

Jerrie & Kimmie

This morning the sun was shining, but I didn't see anyone basking on the kitty tower when I peeked in. I headed towards the kitchen, and Kimmie emerged from the laundry room, stretching along the way. When I returned from visiting mom, I saw Kimmie was sitting on the back of the chair, waiting. I took the brush and headed to the front room. Then, I saw Jerrie was lounging on the floor, in a beam of light that was shining in through the windows. That would explain why I didn't see anyone. The chest was hiding him! He sprawled out and enjoyed a long brushing. Kimmie wandered in too, and sat nearby. I said my goodbyes to the kitties today. I'm going to miss them!

Bradford, ZZ, Heighty & the gang

This morning Moody was meowing at the door when he heard me coming. He followed me to the back door, hopping on any surface to get closer to me. The pups were just waking up to come say hi. Sugar and Bradford were both bouncing around next to me. Heighty stood nearby, with the dog I now call Freckles (since I still don't know her name). Lol. The only one I didn't see was ZZ. I called for him several times, but he didn't show. I started to walk around the side of the house to see if he was there. Still no sign. I poked open the doggie door on the shed and looked inside. I called for him again, then I saw the blanket wiggling. He worked his way out and was happy to see me too. Phew! I guess he was sleeping pretty good. But, he did have the right idea. It was chilly and gloomy outside this morning. Perfect day for a nap! I checked Moody's food and water before I left. This evening Moody was right at the door waiting for me. I stopped to pet him a bit, before I went to check on the pooches. This time ZZ was the first to run up and greet me! They started working on their dinners after they were done saying hi. I spent a little time with Moody too. He stood on the counter and purred away, enjoying his chin scratches.
