Tyler, Emma, Lacey & Luke

Everyone met me at the door this afternoon! I let Tyler and Emma out back, who went galloping out the door. Tyler went straight for his toy and began to play. Lacey wasn't quite ready to go out and she curled up under the chair on the couch. I got their lunch ready and let them back inside. Lacey was ready to go out now, so she went potty quick before they got lunch. Luke came out and rubbed up against my legs for a bit. After they finished, we sat in the living room and visited for a few minutes. They each came and snuggled up with me! Since the sun was shining, I let Tyler and Emma go back out to play. Luke sat on the bed and watched the pups playing through the window! Emma enjoyed it so much, she didn't want to come back in for me! I went out to her and she just rolled around in the grass, wanting her belly rubbed. Later she eventually came back inside and they all got a treat!

Luke & Maycie

This morning I let Luke and Maycie outside to play. Luke was already in his position, waiting for me to throw his ball! Maycie stole the ball from him again a few times this morning. She had fun just chasing Luke all around the yard, whether he had the ball or not! A couple times Luke was watching the sky for his ball to drop down, only to realize little Macyie was running around with it in her mouth. I got her another treat to snack on. She would swat it around and chase after it, then prance around and show it off!

Chico, Chi-chi & Cali

This morning the pups were ready to head outside. I got them both hooked up and we went on our way! After they both did their business, we took a short walk. Chico was excited to smell everything. They both worked on breakfast when we got back inside. Cali was snuggling right up with me! Chico went and looked out the window, then came bouncing back and rolled around in my lap. He suddenly sat straight up and I noticed both his ears were folded back! It was the funniest thing! He and Cali spent some time swatting at each other from on either side of me. Chi-chi took her turn to snuggle up with me too. Later we headed back into their bedroom when it was time to go.

Luke & Maycie

I said hi to Luke and Maycie as I came through the door. They sat quietly until they saw me, then they were bouncing up and down! I brought out Luke's ball so we could play fetch. He was sure excited for that! Maycie bounced up and down at my legs for her attention in between throws. She kept Luke busy too, whenever she'd steal his ball and run circles around the yard! He would look at me and bark, "Can't you help get my ball back?". I tried, but she's too quick even for me! I got her to come to me, and she'd sit still if I pet her. Then I'd quick get the ball! But she would just steal it back every time he'd set it down for me to throw. I got them each a treat, which kept her busy for awhile. Luke was trying to get both the treat and his ball in his mouth so Maycie couldn't get them. She was too busy tossing her rawhide and sliding around after it on the patio. He realized this and quickly finished his! We threw the ball some more before it was time to go back in.

Chico, Chi-chi & Cali

The pups heard me come in and started barking hello right away! I got Chico's harness on, then outside we went. They both did their business and let me know they were ready to head back inside. Chi-chi started eating her dinner while Chico was busy chasing after Cali! I sat on the floor with them and my buddy Chico kept coming in my lap and rubbing his head on my jacket. Silly boy! Cali came over for attention too, then those two were chasing in circles around me. Chi-chi was still crunching away on her food. Later Chico decided to eat, so Cali took the opportunity to have my full attention. She made herself comfy and curled up in my lap! Chi-chi came over when she'd finished and was in a silly playful mood too. She was having fun pawing on my slippery jacket! Then she'd stand on her hind legs and dance around for me to pet her. She even messed around with Cali too. After everyone ate, we went out potty one more time before bed.

Dakota & Benny

Kota had a lot of fun on our walk today, bouncing around in the snow! It was nearly up to Benny's belly, so he got frosty hair. Kota made sure to hop in all the big snow piles. Every once in awhile she'd put her head down and scoop up a mouthful of snow! I made a few snowballs and tossed them ahead of us as we walked for them to chase. I threw a few up in the air too, and Kota would leap up in the air and catch it!

Baxter

This morning Baxter was in his room and came out when he heard me bringing the boxes in the house. I heard a beeping sound, so Baxter came with me to investigate. After we figured it out, he walked into the kitchen and sat, waiting for a treat! I gave him a little one before we went into the living room. He got pet for awhile, then we played with his toy. He got another treat before I left! This afternoon Baxter was sleeping in his room again. He came out with me and sat in the living room for his back rub! We played with his toy some more. He would grab his toy, then turn his heiny towards me. "Nope you can't have it!" Later he decided to much on his dinner while I got out a treat for him.

Dakota & Benny

This afternoon Benny heard me unlocking the door and he got excited. Even Kota joined in! I let her out, got their collars and leashed on, and off we went. We took our usual long walk. Not a whole lot happened, so it was pretty quiet today. Benny did his usual bouncing around in front of his friend's houses as he said hi. After we got back home, Kota decided to have some lunch.

Baxter

This morning Baxter was curled up and sleeping soundly on his bed. He sat up when I came in, then made his way over to say hi with his heiny wagging! He spent most of the time gettting his back rubbed. He would kindly shift around so I'd get all his good spots! I refilled his food and water bowls, then got Baxter a treat before it was time to go. This afternoon I had to call for Baxter. He came out of the bedroom and did a couple big stretches. He had to go outside to go potty quick. After he did his business he came to sit by me. He was happy to get rubbed all over and even gave me a paw shake! Baxter was feeling more playful this afternoon. He ran and pounced on his toy, then brought it over to me. He played keep-away for awhile as we chased around the living room! Eventually he curled back up on his bed and relaxed. I got him another yummy treat before I left for the day.

Dakota & Benny

My little buddies were excited for their walk this afternoon! They both hopped along for the first little bit. I think Benny may have gotten a little too excited, as he got sick along the way. He was happy as could be afterwards though, barking hello to his neighborhood friends! They noticed a gate to a backyard was open today, much like the one they had fun in when they took off that one day. They both got excited and tried to check it out. They thought they saw something in the bushes by a house we passed, but I couldn't see anything! Benny wanted to stay and search for whatever it was.
